Vicky Jiggens Hair & Makeup were such an amazing choice for my wedding day! Vicky and Rae did the hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaid, my mum, and my mother-in-law, and we all absolutely loved our final looks.

I chose Vicky because she specialises in curly hair, which is how I wanted to wear mine, and she absolutely nailed the look I wanted. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, giving advice and helping me figure out exactly what would work best. The trial was great, and she was super flexible with making a few little changes on the day too.

On the wedding morning, Vicky and Rae made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable. They brought such a lovely energy to the morning, which made getting ready even more enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Vicky Jiggens Hair & Makeup more!

From our very first email, right up to the wedding day, I could not fault Vicky's kindness, patience and hair and makeup skills. She listened carefully to my initial ideas before a very thorough session with her in-person where she went through all my skin worries, skincare, usual makeup looks and hair styling. She was so reassuring that we would find the perfect look for my day and I really enjoyed chatting to her throughout the practice run and on the wedding day too. She sent me some makeup recommendations so that I could buy the same lipstick ahead of the day for top-ups which was really helpful! On the day, the makeup and hair styling lasted so well, even after hours of dancing, sweating and bubbles, it still looked perfect!
She was so calm and relaxed on our wedding morning which reassured the bridal party. My mother-in-law hadn't been sure if she wanted to have her makeup done but after browsing through Vicky's Instagram, decided to go ahead and loved her look on the day!

Vicky and her assistant Ray did my whole bridal parties hair and makeup including myself the Bride, two Bridesmaids and both Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom and all were made to feel comfortable, relaxed and looked fantastic!!

I went to visit Vicky for my trial in the months before the wedding, and immediately felt like I was in safe hands. Vicky was very good at suggesting different options, especially when I wasn't sure as I had never had my makeup done professionally before. We tried two separate styles for my eyes which helped me to feel like I'd narrowed down to what I was looking for. Vicky's style is very natural which made me feel myself on the wedding day- she even worked with me to achieve a 'bridal' version of my everyday black winged eyeliner which made me feel like the best version of myself!

Myself, my sister and mum all have naturally curly hair, and Vicky did her best to emphasise with some heat styling and I was really happy with on the day!

I really appreciated Vicky's calmness when it came to the final moments of getting ready- she helped with last minute touches like extra pinning on my slippy veil, and concealer on my back where I had bra marks and a backless dress!!! (stressful to say the least)

Everybody said that they loved both Vicky and Ray, and would definitely recommend them if you're looking to feel like an emphasised version of yourself on your big day- and if you want a calm presence in the nervy morning!

Vicky did hair and makeup for myself, the mother of the bride and my sister. She is friendly, professional and did an amazing job. The makeup and hair held all day even in very windy conditions. Vicky took on this job after my previous hair and makeup artist had to back out at quite last minute and I was so grateful that she could!
