Based in Rossendale, Lancashire, I’m a professional makeup artist specialising in natural, modern bridal makeup. I’ve worked in the makeup industry since I was 19 and have spent the last 6 years focusing exclusively on weddings, so I know just how much goes into getting you ready for one of the biggest days of your life.

But for me, being a bridal makeup artist has never just been about the makeup.

I genuinely love being part of a wedding morning. There’s something really special about being there from the beginning, when everyone is getting ready, the nerves are starting to kick in and it all suddenly feels very real.

I’m naturally very organised, calm and easy going, and I think that makes a huge difference on a wedding morning. I know how to read a room and adapt to what you need from me. If you need someone to keep you calm, I’ve got you. If you need a bit of hype and excitement, I’m there for that too! And if you just want me to quietly get on with your makeup while you enjoy the morning with your family and friends, that’s absolutely fine too.

After hundreds of weddings, I know that no two brides or wedding mornings are the same. My job is to make sure you feel comfortable, looked after and completely confident in your makeup, while also helping the morning run as smoothly as possible.

I’m also a big believer that your wedding makeup should still feel like you. My style is natural, modern glam, creating makeup that makes you feel amazing without feeling like you’re wearing a completely different face. I want you to look back at your wedding photos in years to come and still love what you see.

I’m a bit obsessed with the details!

I take the organisation side of your booking just as seriously as the makeup. Once you book, I’ll guide you through everything from your trial to your wedding morning timings, so you always know what is happening and what you need to do next.

Before your wedding, you’ll receive a detailed schedule for the morning, making sure there is plenty of time for everyone’s makeup without anyone feeling rushed. I always aim to have makeup finished around an hour before you need to leave, because that final hour disappears SO quickly!

It gives you time to get into your dress, put on your jewellery and perfume, have those lovely final photographs with your bridal party and, most importantly, actually take a moment to breathe and enjoy what is happening.

I’ll be there right up until you’re ready to leave, helping with those little things that inevitably pop up along the way and making sure your makeup is perfect before you go and say “I do”.

And then there’s my kit...

I take my kit very seriously! I’ve spent years building a professional kit filled with luxury and professional makeup brands, and I’m constantly investing in new products and replacing old favourites.

Everything I use has been chosen because it performs well on a wedding day. Your makeup needs to look beautiful in person, photograph beautifully and last through all the happy tears, hugs, kisses and celebrations.

You’ll find brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Armani Beauty, NARS, Hourglass, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, Make Up For Ever and many more in my kit.

Ultimately, I want you to enjoy your morning as much as I want you to love your makeup.

Your wedding day is incredibly personal, and it’s a real privilege to be invited into that little part of it. I never take that for granted.
