Gillian Rachel Elizabeth MUA appreciates that for many, going bare-faced and trusting someone else with their makeup can be nerve-wracking. Her intention is to make you feel as comfortable as possible, working with you to craft a bespoke look that speaks to your unique beauty. Trained in the London College of Beauty and Makeup, Gillian honed her skills in the capital, working across editorial and fashion spheres. This background has equipped her with the expertise to achieve flawless applications that transfer seamlessly to photographs and film.

What is included in the wedding package?
A Bridal Trial is included for all my Brides, as this allows us the time to get to know one another, and for me, the chance to work out what style brings out your beauty to allow you to shine
How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally a year ahead of the wedding date due to demand to avoid disappointment. However, I occasionally have openings so always ask and if I can help, would be delighted to!
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
I charge mileage outside a 20mile radius of my home
What is your main business area?
Make up
Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
I can book up to 8 members of the bridal party myself, anything above this I would bring an assistant along
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
50% deposit is due at the time of booking due to demand to secure the date, the outstanding balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding

Highly recommend!
Gillian was absolutely fantastic. She brought such a positive and kind energy to the wedding morning. She was extremely flexible and relaxed, and fitted into the plans so easily. She communicated with my hair-dresser in advance and ensured she could do my trial on the same day so I could see the full effect! She was so caring, and really took the time to listen to the style that everyone wanted. I loved her style of creating the best version of yourself and that is truly what she achieved! I would highly recommend - thank you Gillian!

Highly recommend Gillian!
Gillian was amazing, I am so pleased I chose her to be my wedding make up artist. In my trial she listened to what myself, my mum and my bridesmaids wanted and it all came together perfectly on the day. She wasn’t just my MUA, Gillian helped with so many aspects of the wedding morning, such as helping to prep the room for photographs and drying the water from the stems of the flowers! Thank you so much, you were amazing!

Make up for a wedding guest
I booked Gilian for make up for my friend's wedding. She listened to my requests and did an amazing job! Even gave me little samples to havevdruing the wedding to fix the lipstick and the foundation if needed later. 🫶

Absolutely amazing woman and make up artist
I am so glad I chose Gillian to do my make up for my wedding. Having previously had a couple of not-so-great trials, I was nervous to try someone else: but I needn't have been. I instantly felt relaxed, happy and most importantly listened to: I knew I was in good hands!
Gillian is so kind, friendly and a real joy to be around. I won't be able to fully explain how amazing she was on my wedding day. She went above and beyond: from helping with my 1-year old to getting me into my dress. Not just doing my make up, but also helping me to stay calm and not stress.

Wedding Day of My Dreams
How to even begin! Gillian felt like a big sister on the most important day of my life. As an American bride, I was so nervous booking online and not having the chance to complete my wedding trial until a few days before my wedding. BUT, Gillian was truly one of the BEST decisions I made regarding my wedding. I adored my time in the chair with her. She perfectly understood my vision, made me feel and look like the best version of myself, and put my sisters and mom at ease the morning of the wedding. I am so grateful for her expertise, flexibility, and overall professionalism. I could not recommend Gillian more!

Huge thank you
A huge thank you to Gillian for my wedding makeup! Gillian managed to achieve a natural look while still keeping that special 'bridal' feel. Thank you also for making my mum feel special - having not had professional makeup before she was nervous, but you put her at ease and she was delighted with the finished look! The perfect MUA!
Gillian was so lovely and easy to deal with. She did the make up for my three bridesmaids and the Mother of the Bride - who was very nervous about having her make up done. All the girls felt amazing. But Gillian set everyone at ease and made them all look absolutely stunning in the process. I would recommend her in a heart beat! I feel so lucky that she was available for my wedding!

The best in town!
Gillian made arranging the trail and plans for the day so easy which in amongst the wedding planning chaos I was so grateful for. She was such an incredible vibe on the wedding morning and I felt incredible all day long!! I really wanted to look like an elevated version of myself rather than anything different and she smashed it. Thank you Gillian ❤️

The loveliest and best MUA
Gillian is the loveliest, kindest and warmest soul, and from the moment I met her at my trial, I knew I had chosen the right person for my makeup. She was so calm and kind on the morning of the wedding and an absolute joy to be around. My makeup was absolutely stunning - I’ve never felt more beautiful and it lasted all day long even in 25 degrees weather! My bridesmaids all adored Gillian and were so happy with their makeup and looked gorgeous. They all spoke so highly of her! She perfectly matched everyone’s individual style and took the time to chat with each person beforehand to make sure they were comfortable. Thank you for everything Gillian! You made the day even more special.

I can’t recommend Gillian enough! From our initial trial to the big day, Gillian was professional, friendly and attentive to every detail. She perfectly captured the natural look I wanted for my wedding, making sure my skin looked radiant without feeling heavy. All my bridesmaids loved their make-up as well.
