Soaf was very professional & friendly.
She was recommended by my regular hairdresser, whose Daughter had used her for her own wedding. Her communication was impeccable & put me at ease.
I was worried, being an older bride, that my hair, being not as full as it once was, would cause her problems.
I chose to marry with only 8 months to grow the extra length for my chosen style & unfortunately, the top grew disappointingly much slower than the rest, but soaf was able to improvise & create the perfect hairstyle that I loved & got complimented on all day.
Soaf was also obliging in toning down the makeup ,from the original trial, as i normally wear very little, to make me look as natural as possible.
I would definitely recommend Soaf to all my family & friends & she even helped lace up my wedding dress.

I booked with Soaf to do my makeup for my wedding day as well as my mother's, mother of the groom, and maid of honour. She was very professional and had a positive attitude, especially considering we had a very early start for a morning ceremony. She is very talented, made me feel heard, and gave me exactly what I wanted for my makeup on my special day.

I couldn't have hoped for a better MUA than Soaf. It was like having an extra lovely bridesmaid who was also fabulous at make up!

Soaf is the best hair and makeup artist I've ever had. She recently did my hair and makeup for a friend's wedding and i felt absolutely amazing (no small feat considering I was 8 months pregnant!) Her attention to detail was very good both in the run up and on the day - both in terms of communications and the actual hair and makeup. The products she used were really nice too. Soaf was really accommodating and came to my house rather than meeting somewhere neutral which was so thoughtful and made it so much easier for me to get ready. She was very professional throughout, from booking right the way through to meeting her and having my makeup done. I felt so relaxed throughout and by the end of it, it felt like a good friend was making me feel so great.

Soaf did my hair and make-up for my friend's wedding, in which I was a bridesmaid. She was so patient with my hair on the day, which refused to play ball (other stylists also have issues) and actually changed the style to make it work, showing great versatility of skills under pressure.
I had a trial with Soaf before the day to make sure that I liked the make-up style and to match the colours to my face. The makeup was great quality and stayed on all day. I couldn't fault Soaf's talent in applying it either. She also checked in throughout to make sure it was what I wanted and the end result went beautifully with my bridesmaids dress.

I cannot recommend Soaf enough!! She is so good at her job, but beyond that she is kind, friendly and helpful. I did a trial with her a couple months before the wedding and she listened to all my critiques and was happy to make changes. She gave me the perfect hair and makeup look on my wedding day!! It was a bit windy and she ensured my bun stayed in place all day long through the wind and dancing. She really is the best!!

I unfortunately could not recommend Soaf. The wrong date was recorded for my wedding booking - 20th November instead of 20th June -leaving me without the makeup artist I had booked on the morning of my wedding. I accept I missed the incorrect date on the invoice, but 20th November was never a possible wedding date for me, and this felt like an obvious booking-date error rather than a normal cancellation.

Because I had paid the balance months early, Soaf retained £100 despite no wedding-day service being provided, and treated the situation as a cancellation for the incorrect November date. I fully accepted losing the £50 deposit due to the mistake, but losing more than that felt very harsh, especially as the final balance would not have been due until much closer to 20th November.

This felt particularly unfair because the date she had recorded was still five months away, she already had another booking that morning - for which I had previously offered flexibility around the timing of my makeup to accommodate her - and she had referred to receiving hundreds of enquiries, so there appeared to be time and opportunity to refill the slot.

As someone who also runs a small business with deposits and cancellations, I understand the need for terms and conditions, but I felt this situation called for more flexibility and understanding. Instead, the resolution felt harsh, inflexible and opportunistic, and her tone became defensive rather than sympathetic.

Based on this experience, I would not trust Soaf to handle problems fairly or sympathetically if something went wrong around a wedding day. I would also advise brides to speak with or meet her before booking to decide whether her communication style feels right for them. In hindsight, while the morning was stressful, I am relieved she was not involved in my wedding preparations. If you do book her, I would strongly advise not paying anything beyond the deposit until the latest possible date, as paying early left us financially exposed.

Soaf did a beautiful job styling hair for my bridesmaids and I, plus my make up. She was attentive to our preferences, and flexible on the day, adapting quickly to one person being late etc. She is clearly a professional in her art. Equally importantly Soaf is a calming presence and a lovely soul to chat to all morning during the hustle and bustle of the day!

She was not only incredibly talented but also such a lovely person to have around on my wedding day. As a morena bride, one thing that really stood out was how well she understood my skin tone. My makeup looked natural, flattering, and never ashy. She even chose the perfect lipstick shade for me without me having to tell her what I wanted.

The hair and makeup lasted beautifully throughout the day, and I received so many compliments. On top of that, when we had an issue with our taxi, she kindly drove us to the venue herself, which was truly above and beyond.
