Right from the start Gigi took every possible effort to get to know me and what I wanted. She wasn’t afraid to give me her expert advice but was always keen to reflect me, my personality and the nature of the wedding. I had so many compliments on my hair and makeup, and more importantly I felt cared for and relaxed the whole time. I’d recommend her without hesitation! She was a big part of our wedding day, not just because of how she made me look but also how she made me feel.

After booking Gigi for my wedding we communicated pretty consistently about timing and location. Super easy and delightful to chat with. She met me for a trial the day before my wedding at our venue. When I met Gigi and her partner Luis, I immediately fell in love with them. They were so nice and genuine and down to earth. I could tell they were focused on making me feel comfortable and heard. They wanted what I wanted, listened to my needs and wanted to make sure I felt beautiful and special. Which they did amazingly.

I showed Gigi some inspiration photos and she understood the assignment right away. I sat back in that chair and she went to work! She seriously knows what she’s doing and anything you want she knows how to execute. I truly never felt so beautiful! I look back at my photos from the day and I am in awe! She also did my mother and my sister’s hair/makeup the day of and they looked phenomenal.

But just as important as the hair and makeup, Gigi and Luis really paid attention to how I felt. They were kind and funny and calming. I spent quite a few hours in their company and they were a huge part of my day. They wanted to see every detail, the flowers, the church, the groom. They were excited with me and that is a feeling I won’t forget. They were a huge part of what made my day so incredibly special.

I don’t think people talk enough about the time before the ceremony. There is so much anxiety and waiting and nerves and excitement, and as a bride you are often sequestered from everything. They were masterful at building the excitement and mitigating the anxiety. Thank you Gigi and Luis.

Thankyou for making me feel so pretty on my wedding day! I couldn't help but look at myself with hair and makeup done when I caught a glimpse of myself on a mirror! I felt like a princess! ♡

I had a hair and makeup trial with Gigi that made me feel so comfortable. She listened to my wishes of natural makeup and a simple low bun up do. Then recreated the same thing only better on my wedding day! Natural makeup that just didn't feel like it was there (as someone who doesn't wear much makeup this was important to me) and an up-do of a low bun to receive my cathedral veil and delicate hair piece. I had a package with Gigi for me (the bride) and one bridesmaid. We were both over the moon with our final looks. Gigi arrived in a timely manner and I was sent an accurate and detailed time plan for how the morning of the wedding was going to go.

Once all was done, I did feel a little rushed that all that was wanted was photos for the social media of the completed look with me in my dress. Which I understand was important to Gigis profile, but as a bride it seemed too rushed and I would've liked to feel more relaxed as I wanted to do my daughters hair before getting in my own dress, but was made to feel like I didn't have time so I didn't do her hair. Then I was stood waiting for 20 minutes for the wedding co-ordinator to come and get us so I would have had time after all.

Gigi was great at helping get bridesmaids zipped into dresses. And helped with getting me in mine. She sprayed perfume down my veil as I asked and helped with finishing touches.

Gigi was amazing I had no idea what I wanted for my event and she listened and gave me the perfect look everything finished to perfection she was amazing and I have booked in again in a few weeks!

Gigi and Luis are the team you need on your day. They are hilarious and sweet, extremely passionate and are incredibly personable.
I managed to book Gigi last minute due to a mix up and they were both enthusiastic about our day.
The reason I booked Gigi was because I wanted someone with experience with Chinese skin and hair and she knocked it out of the park.
She did my hair for both a Chinese ceremony and a Western ceremony including make up. Gigi not only did what I asked and put her style on it as well.
They made me feel relaxed and I just felt completely pampered by them.
They also did my bridesmaids hair and it looked stunning.
We all had endless compliments and it's very much down to Gigi's magic.
