I can’t recommend Karen Aylett from Be Simply Beautiful Make Up highly enough. She listened so thoughtfully, understood the look I wanted and was incredibly kind and reassuring in the lead\-up to the wedding.
On the day, Karen and her assistant expertly managed the makeup for me, seven bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. They were calm, caring and professional, making everyone feel comfortable and helping the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
The quality of the products was excellent, and the results were beautiful.. I felt confident and special all day, and Karen helped make our wedding truly memorable\. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any bride. -

Karen was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! 🥰
She did my makeup for my wedding day and I honestly couldn’t have been happier. She made me look and feel so beautiful, whilst still feeling like myself, which was exactly what I wanted.
But it wasn’t just her amazing makeup skills that made her so special. Karen was such a lovely person to have around on the morning of my wedding. She kept me calm, made me laugh and genuinely felt more like having a friend there than someone I’d booked to do my makeup!
She was also incredibly kind and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make the morning that little bit more special.
I’m so grateful to her for being part of such an important day. A genuinely lovely lady and a fantastic makeup artist. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her! ❤️ -

Karen is so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She knows exactly what she’s talking about and instantly puts you at ease. From the moment I met her, I felt so comfortable and completely trusted her to make me feel my best on such a special day. She made the whole experience so relaxed, enjoyable and stress-free, which is exactly what you want on your wedding morning!
My makeup was absolutely beautiful, and I felt like a bride from the moment I looked in the mirror. 🥹🤍 It was everything I could have hoped for and more, and I’m so grateful to Karen for helping make me feel so special on one of the most important days of my life.
A special mention has to go to Coral, her lovely assistant, too! She was absolutely brilliant and helped make the whole morning even more enjoyable. You were both amazing, and I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for me. -

Karen was very lovely, patient. She listened to how i wanted my makeup to look like on the day, and shown me other technique / iideas that could give a better overall look.
The price package is fair as you get a trial session inc however, if you are wanting more of a glamorous wow factor look, I would of chosen a more experienced artist.

Although I offer a pre-wedding trial with all packages, you are always welcome to make changes to your makeup before your wedding or on the actual day. I always make sure that my clients are 100% happy before they leave the chair, and I am so disappointed you didn't say anything to me at the time. If I don't know, I can't change it! It's also very rare for someone to request their own makeup be used rather than the beautiful, professional makeup products I use on my clients. I honestly couldn’t have been happier with my wedding makeup! 💄✨
From start to finish, I felt completely listened to and made to feel so comfortable. My makeup was absolutely beautiful — exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I still felt like me, just the very best, most glamorous version! 🥹💕
It lasted amazingly throughout the whole day and night, through all the happy tears, hugs, dancing and celebrating! 🥂💃

You all looked so beautiful and glamorous 😍 The makeup was just perfect and gave you a dewy, radiant glow which complemented your whole look. It was a cracking lipstick colour you chose too! A vibrant pink is definitely your colour, and you wouldn't have felt like you without it!
Lily of the Valley Hair Design created the most beautiful bridal hair for you and your bridal party. We are so lucky to work together and although we refer to ourselves as the 'crazy beauty team', we provide a fun, yet perfect wedding morning!

Karen is amazing!
Karen was amazing start to finish! Recommended a hair stylist (Lily of the Valley/Dora) as they usually work together and well the rest is history 🥰 had my hair and make up trial at the same time which meant I got to see it together. I wanted something quite neutral but in the end we decided on something much more glam which actually worked perfectly! Karen is so knowledgable and kind and we had such a great morning getting ready for my wedding ❤️ highly recommend her!Be Simply Beautiful's reply:

I had my wedding on the 15th of August 2026 and I did not change a thing from my trail make-up as I fell in love with it, Karen knew exactly what would look good and what wouldn’t, she did suggest we change my lipstick as I now had a darker tan then at my trail, which made my look completed. It was such a glorious day and my make-up lasted all day and well into the night, dancing the night away, my bridesmaid and I were in complete awe of our looks, we felt like princess and a new women, a polished version of ourselves. I will highly recommend Karen and Coral to anyone who wants to look and feel fabulous on their special day, without breaking the bank and with someone you just makes you feel heard and talks you through every step, well and truly amazing🤍🥹.Be Simply Beautiful's reply:

Karen at Be Simply Beautiful was incredibly supportive when I needed an additional makeup artist at the last minute. She kindly stepped in and offered her services, giving us the opportunity to have a trial at home, which was so convenient as she is a mobile makeup artist.
On the wedding day, Karen arrived very early and worked seamlessly with the team to ensure everyone was ready on time. She was warm, friendly, professional, and helped everyone feel relaxed throughout the morning.
