I couldn’t be more grateful to Sophie and her team for my bridal veil… After a really helpful online consultation and extremely attentive and detailed email exchanges, I chose a customised version of the Elizabeth veil in ‘cathedral’ length — which was surprisingly affordable, given the beautiful workmanship and scale. The veil matched my dress perfectly and was so beautifully made and delivered on time! The comb was also really high quality and easy to put in my hair, and it held brilliantly. I had so many compliments on my veil, and I think it made my bridal look complete and really brought the drama (in the ideal way) for Saint Paul’s Cathedral! I wish I could wear a veil like this every day… I highly recommend Sophie and her wonderful work — this veil felt so lovingly made and high quality, and I’ll save it forever as a keepsake.

I travelled to Lace and Favour from London because I wanted to try on their bridal shoes in person, and wow am I glad I did. Their shoe selection is stunning, and I found the perfect pair of shoes. The lovely ladies there even introduced me to heel stoppers which meant I could wear my favourite kitten heels for our outdoor garden wedding this June.

Our daughter had a festival themed party and I contacted Sassy Little Shades for a pair of shades to match - what we received was beyond anything I expected - such beautiful shades and great quality. Highly recommend!

I took the dress I planned on wearing at my daughter’s wedding to Simon and asked him to create a hat to match it. Wow! The clue is in the name “Marvellous Millinery” - Simon did exactly that and beyond! I honestly cannot recommend Simon highly enough. He spent time looking at me, my shape and size, my dress and its fabric and asking for my thoughts too. He made a fabulous hat for me and everyone admired it. So many guests asked me where I had got it and I was very happy to tell them. Simon is so creative, so skilled, so professional and so welcoming that you will not find a better milliner anywhere. We have not yet got any professional photos back so the attached one is only showing the front view and not the yellow bow - I shall put a better one up later if I can - but it gives an idea. It also shows the fabulous little bag that Simon made to match.
