The Commission Process…
I offer a warm, friendly, and informal service. When booking a consultation, I will usually visit a client in their home (if within 20 miles), but this can be done via Zoom for clients out of my area. We discuss your event, outfit, and style. I then design a unique piece just for you. I will keep you posted and communicate throughout the design process, as I know you will be excited to hear how it is going. I create headpieces completely from scratch. They start as flat pieces of fabric that I steam and stretch into place over wooden blocks. Everything is hand-wired and hand-stitched using traditional artisan skills.
