A Wedding Venue That Gave Us the Most Unforgettable Day of Our Lives
We had our wedding here last week, and trying to put into words how incredible the experience was feels impossible—but we’ll try. From the moment we first stepped onto the grounds, we knew this place was special. What we didn’t realise was just how deeply it would exceed every single expectation we had.
The accommodation was immaculate, and the décor was absolutely stunning. Our guests stayed across the Yurts, the Cottage, the Lodge, the Coach House, the Nook, and especially The North Wing, and every space felt magical. Each room was beautifully designed, warm, welcoming, and so thoughtfully prepared. Our family and friends kept telling us how blown away they were—it felt like everyone had their own private retreat.
The ceremony room was breathtaking—so romantic, intimate, and filled with the most beautiful atmosphere. It truly felt like a dream walking down the aisle. The White Barn then hosted the most amazing wedding breakfast. The space was gorgeous, bright, elegant, and perfect in every way. Every corner of this venue is just perfect.
We also loved the little nook area off the bar where the children could relax and play—such a thoughtful touch that made things easier for parents and added to the relaxed, welcoming feel. And not forgetting the Atrium—what an incredible space! We loved our confetti isle, the different spaces tied the whole day together and created such a stunning flow from one moment to the next.
And then… the staff. The wedding coordinators were genuinely extraordinary. From the very first viewing, to every phone call, to the night before the wedding, and throughout the entire day, they were kind, caring, and incredibly supportive. They went above and beyond in ways we saw—and in so many ways we’re sure we didn’t—just to make everything perfect. Their calmness, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel so at ease and allowed us to enjoy every single moment.
Our wedding day ran flawlessly. Every part of it felt thoughtful, seamless, and filled with love. Our guests adored the venue, our suppliers were impressed, and we were overwhelmed by how perfect everything felt from start to finish.
We cannot speak highly enough about this venue. It didn’t just host our wedding—it helped create memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
And then… there was Jaydi. What an exceptionally kind, professional, lovely, and beautiful person. She is the most unbelievable wedding coordinator, and we feel so lucky to have had her by our side. She made everything feel effortless, and truly nothing was ever too much trouble. Because of Jaydi, our entire day felt absolutely stress-free. Her calmness, organisation, and genuine care meant we could just soak in every moment without a single worry. We can never thank her enough for everything she did—she is extraordinary.
If you want a venue that is beautiful, deeply caring, and unforgettable in every sense, this is the place. Wyresdale we will forever be grateful.

Where do I start? Firstly with getting engaged, so on the 07.12.2024 my now HUSBAND, asked me to marry him in Stockholm, it had been a long time coming after 7 years together, however, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be there and definitely not after a Hyrox race, however, it couldn’t have been more us! Fast forward to January, after Christmas, I started to look at Venues on TikTok, I came across Wyresdale Park, I just knew from watching one video it was going to be the one. It was everything I wanted and more in a venue, but what sold it to me was the 3 separate but flowing areas. I hated the idea of getting married and then being sardined into a bar area so that the room can be rearranged for the wedding breakfast and then for the evening reception (I know you can have the option of outside but with the UK, let’s be honestly it’s highly likely to be raining) BUT at Wyresdale, you don’t have to worry about this, you have the luxury of the ceremony barn, the white barn for the wedding breakfast and then flowing into the atrium for the evening - this was everything I was looking for, I showed my other half, who said ‘oh don’t just put your eggs in one basket, we need to go and look around and get quotes etc’ I knew I had to act quick as I saw a tour upcoming! We managed to get a space on the January tour, we’d only viewed two other venues, and after seeing each one, I knew I’d already decided that Wyresdale was already the one, I was so sure, I even invited my mum and dad to see it with us. When we arrived, we were greeting by Leah, (who just so happened to be our wedding co ordinator, who helped us with every single little detail leading up to our big day) who showed us around the beautiful grounds, it was a beautiful crisp, sunny winters day… I fell in love, with everything and we loved the idea of stealing a secret moment in the boat together on the lake after we’d said ‘I do!’ We sat down to enquire about a date in 2026, but an available Friday date caught our eye 07.11.2025. It was meant to be! 7 is my husbands lucky number, 11 is mine. We reserved the date, and after checking if we could have the registrar, we confirmed the day after. What the hell! We’d booked a wedding, in TEN MONTHS! Luckily, included in our package, we had striped kitchen booked and Gemma from bluebells and daisies (who is the very best may I add)! 10 months of planning flew by and our day came around so fast… we had really good communication with the team, and Wyresdale even had a renovation early in the year, which made the venue even more perfect with the newly renovated atrium, bar area and outdoor seating space under the canopy!
I spent the night before in the North wing with my bridesmaids, nothing comes close to spending the night before your wedding with your best and closest girls, and even my pup, who played the part of our ring bearer she was very well looked after by Annabel at Pawfect occasions! Who I cannot recommend enough, she took every single worry about Orla(our gorgeous chocolate cocker spaniel) away from me for the whole day as I knew she was being well looked after). We all had hair and make up done by the amazing Loft, Jen was just perfect, she kept me so so calm. The team literally couldn’t have done enough for us, all day, I literally didn’t have to think or worry about a single thing and lived my absolute best Bride life, I enjoyed every single second of our day. We got married at 1pm, a perfect time, in the white barn, onto the drinks reception, my Mum had booked the Singing waiters for our Wedding breakfast, we had the best time ever singing and dancing on the tables, I had done personalised tambourines as place names, these were a huge hit. Then onto the evening in the atrium to dance the night away until our heads hit our pillows in the gorgeous Honeymoon suite with our nearest and dearest staying onsite in the coach house, keepers cottage and the Yurts! We honestly had the best day of our lives and we wish we could do it all again. It was truly amazing and I could not fault a single thing, I do honestly believe that Wyresdale is The VERY BEST VENUE there is. -

All I can say it was amazing
The venue
The staff couldn’t do enough for us
The accommodation was lovely and clean
Just say everyone who came commented on the place saying how stunning it was and how lovely the staff where
The food was lovely and hot and everyone got what they ordered with no mistakes
The wedding coordinator was lovely
I would highly recommend this place to family and friends for future weddings
Just want to say a big Thankyou to all the staff and everyone who was involved that made my daughters day so special without any hiccups -

WHAT A DAY!! We celebrated our wedding earlier in October at Wyresdale Park and would highly recommend it to anyone looking. From the moment we looked round we knew it was the perfect venue for us.
The venue is beautiful and just what we were looking for.
The staff are unbelievable and just can’t do enough for you. The coordinator team are just unbelievable at their job making the day completely stress free and always checking in with you. Nothing was too much to ask, even asking if my horse and dog could attend the wedding!
If we could do our wedding day all over again then we would, it was without a doubt the best day of our lives and that was all thanks to the amazing team at Wyresdale - no words will describe how grateful we are - so thank you! -

The most perfect day
We first visited Wyresdale Park the day after we got engaged. It was their open day and we said to each other We won’t get married here and it’s too far but still in the honeymoon bubble wanted to have a look. The minute we arrived we fell in love with it. Nowhere else we looked at even came close to the charm, warmth and character of Wyresdale. The team were so welcoming and the venue had that perfect cosy rustic feel we were searching for. A few weeks later we had booked.
To our surprise a 6 months before the wedding we got an email about new improvements being made. We weren’t worried for a second knowing their taste and attention to detail was beautiful. But we were blown away on the day the new outdoor space, the upgraded bar, the extended disco barn and redone bathrooms everything was finished to perfection. All our guests talked about how incredible the wedding was and how they have never been to a wedding like that before.
Our wedding day itself was everything we had dreamed of. Claire and Leah were absolutely incredible, taking care of every tiny detail and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Thanks to them all we had to do was enjoy every little moment.
We honestly wish we could do it all over again. Wyresdale Park gave us the most magical day of our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re thinking of booking this venue do it. You won’t regret it. -

Fantastic venue - has it all.
We viewed more than 15 venues in the area and this (in our opinion) is by far and away the best. The recent renovation is superb - perfect for drinks receptions and looks absolutely beautiful (in the flesh as well as photos). The outdoor bar worked well.
The lodge works well to stay for the groom the night before (do it, avoids stress on the day). The north wing is perfect for the bridal party to stay and get ready prior to the wedding.
The different barn rooms allow smooth transition between points of the day (ie after speeches to dancing) without guests being herded in and out of a single room - this was so important to us. The ability to have photos in the forest and take 10 minutes away from things on the boat in the lake was a beautiful moment.
We had our ceremony on site which was perfect and never felt rushed. The venue looked amazing. The fact it rained meant we had the ceremony indoors rather than our preference of outdoors, but the stunning ceremony barn was perfect and intimate and actually worked better for us. The outdoor garden really has filled out and looks stunning - a fitting place for family photos under the pergola.
The staff couldn’t have done more to assist our guests in wheelchairs and accessibility throughout (since the improvements) is brilliant and very welcome. Ample space for 150 evening guests and dancing without feeling too big or the wedding party getting too dispersed. The fire pit allowed toasting of marshmallows for guests through the night.
The on site glamping is excellent and means the party can continue long into the night for >20 of your guests. Honeymoon suite is beautiful, as were the coach house rooms.
All the co-ordinators (Leah, Claire and Jadie) couldn’t do more to help us and make our day special. Everything ran as smoothly as we could’ve dreamed of. They had a can-do attitude and did everything to make our requests a reality (including but not limited to sweet stalls, individualised playlists, hammerschlagen and other outdoor entertainment).
Our vendors Striped Kitchen were fantastic and provided loads of beautiful food. Mark the piano guy played us in - amazing. Our photographers Scott and Lees were so calming and provided beautiful photos. Gemma at Bluebells and Daisys dressed the venue with flowers in such a beautiful way, and was accommodating with last minute changes (THANK YOU!!).
