William Morris Gallery is a beautiful wedding venue located in Waltham Forest, East London. This Grade II* listed building offers a private and picturesque backdrop for your celebrations, set within the serene grounds of Lloyd Park. With three stylish spaces for you to choose from, you can create a bespoke event within the space of your choice.

Glasshouse

Located on the ground floor of William Morris Gallery, with gorgeous sunlit views overlooking Lloyd Park, the Glasshouse Cafe space, with veranda, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. A perfect venue for a range of events for groups.

We can organise and cater for standing receptions or private dinners. It’s available as an evening venue throughout the week and for full-day hire on Mondays, when it can be used as an additional space for weddings, ceremonies, or other events.

Exclusive Use

Although we can accommodate a variety of different events in each of our venue hire spaces, on some occasions more space and privacy is required. For events requiring multiple spaces, we are able to make the Gallery available for exclusive use.

This choice is ideal for larger weddings or ceremonies with receptions, corporate events, away days (with break out spaces), photoshoots, filming or all day meetings.

Story Lounge

Located on the first floor landing of the William Morris Gallery. A light, airy, and extremely flexible space, it can be set up for banqueted dinners, ceremonies, cocktail parties and also suits events such as book or product launches.

Guests arrive at your event via the Gallery’s magnificent staircase (a great location for photos). The space can be organised for both seated and standing events. If booking a wedding on a Monday, this space can be booked with the Glasshouse Cafe space for a reception or dinner.

Acanthus

Located on the top floor of the Gallery in what was originally the servants’ quarters of the house, this room is filled with Georgian character and architectural features, such its beautiful bay window and panelled walls.

A popular choice for weddings and other ceremonies, this room is available throughout the week and also works well as a space for meetings or away days. If booking on a Monday (or in the evening), it can be booked with the Glasshouse for a ceremony or event including a reception.
