Absolutely amazing venue has everything to offer, especially if inviting children. A special thank you to Matthew and his team for being an absolutely amazing on the day and on the lead up with answering all of our questions and letting us visit the barn multiple times. Everything went to plan and we had an amazing day, especially with the added bonus of having photos with both goats and getting us in with the highland cow. The food was amazing and was plenty for everyone and all allergen needs were happily met. It really is the perfect venue if you love animals and your wine with the vineyard onsite where we were able to have photos and to be able to drink what they produce at our reception. We will definitely be back at the farm to see the animals as well as to attend their events as it is one of our favourite places to be.

I cannot rave about or recommend Vine Vew Barn enough. Our day was so magical and I wouldn’t change a thing. The entire farm is stunning, the flowers were in full bloom. From the get go Matthew was so amazing, and reliable. Our day was stress free, and full of excitement. The event management was brilliant, and well organised, as well as their communication with our vendors. We had an outdoor ceremony in the vineyard and our reception in Vine view barn. Throughout the day the staff made an effort to surprise us with different opportunities, like meeting Bobby the lamb, and bottle feeding other lambs. We had Cookie the pony as our ring bearer who stole everyone’s hearts. We were really happy with the food, the portions were very generous. We had afternoon tea after the ceremony and a one course roast as our evening meal. The scones were the best scones I’ve ever eaten and all our guests also agreed with us. Throughout the day the peacocks made their appearances which was another whimsical element that made the day even more magical.
Vine view barn turned my dreams into reality. I decided to do my own decor, and the venue provided three day hire to set up the day before the wedding, and to clear up the day after. On both days they were so accommodating and helpful. I was so incredibly grateful for them condensing all the decor the day after the wedding. It was so helpful as all we had to do was just put the things in the car. We also stayed in the hostel the night before and the morning of the wedding which was perfect. For any animal lovers who are looking for a venue for their wedding, vine view barn in the place and an opportunity not to miss out on.

We got married on the 2nd May 2026 - Both me and my husband both met with Matthew at vine view barn as this was one of our 4 preferred venues to hold our wedding. After leaving vine view barn we was set on our venue and made the deposit to secure it. Matthew was amazing from start to finish, he catered for every need I had or wanted! We wanted our wedding to also be focused around our children there was way more than enough for the kids to do there, he allowed us to have the soft play open until our wedding finished keeping the kids entertained the whole time, full use of the farm facilities after closing time, garden games for the guests and children, marshmallows on a fire pit. He allowed me to come in as many times as I wanted before to get measurements etc, gave me his personal number for any questions I may have whilst he was off so I wasn’t waiting for when he returned, we had a bbq for our 122 guests along side a grazing table and premium buffet for the evening which the food quality, presentation was absolutely fantastic. He helped with the set up to ensure it all ran smoothly from start to finish, met with the Photo Booth company for set up so I wasn’t disturbed on my wedding day. Made a fully dedicated sheet of all my plans and gave to all the staff to ensure everyone was working on the same page. Honestly me and my husband can not express enough just how grateful we are for Matthew being our wedding planner. He definitely went above and beyond and I can not recommend vine view barn enough if we could do it all over again we 100% would. Reasonably priced, allowed us to pay as much or little as we wanted, clean venue, amazing staff, and definitely a day and night to remember! Beautiful scenery, and Matthew allowed us to decorate the barn exactly as we wanted it anything I wanted done that I couldn’t do myself the morning of the wedding he made sure was done. If your looking for a fairytale barn wedding with animals to also be apart of your day definitely go and view vine view barn! Thank you so much Matthew for making our experience the best!

This venue was the best venue by far I had enquired about and the value for money was great. The value for money for the care and stuff included was a steal and the creative freedom you are given over the space was amazing for a type A bride like me.
This is an amazing venue and the care and love the staff gave us all day and night made us feel so special.
Also a shout out to the girl who gave her energy drink to my husband at the end of the night, thank you!

Where to start!! Me and my partner just had our wedding at the rare breeds farm and it was everything we could have asked for. Matthew is the most amazing wedding organiser, he was so helpful and lovely from the start to the end. Our day ran so smoothly and he really goes above and beyond and we are so grateful ! He staff were all lovely and really attentive and all our guests mentioned how amazing everyone was ☺️ we had the alpaca ring bearer, pig race , highland cow photos and more ! It truly made it a remarkable day and perfect for me and my partner who are massive animal lovers ❤️Me and my partner are surprised how calm we felt on the day as we knew all the staff were 10 steps ahead ! All our guests had such a great day and keeps remarking how much they enjoyed the day☺️

We chose Vine View Barn because it was a reasonable price for a Friday wedding, had accommodation on site and was set in a very beautiful vineyard and farm, with flowers, animals and a rustic barn. I didn’t want anything too stuffy or something that felt like a corporate office party and this venue was gorgeous. There were peacocks and other animals that the guests could see and interact with, which was really fun. It was even better than the photos we had seen, and honestly, you could do very little with the table decorations and barn decorations and it still looked gorgeous.
The barn is roomy and also cosy at the same time. If people want to smoke or be outside, there isn’t too much disconnect between the two spaces. We had a gazebo outside as it was raining, but a few umbrellas and it wasn’t a problem. There was more than enough room for our 50 day guests and 100 evening guests.
After the ceremony, which was in the barn under a lovely arch, the guests went outside for some photos and then we went back into the barn after about 15 minutes and all the food and drink was served seamlessly.
You don’t need a mic for speeches because the room is small enough and has good acoustics. Matthew and all of the staff were super helpful and just sort of buzzed about behind the scenes making everyone comfortable and no one was without food or drink.
I knew what I wanted for a lot of the wedding, but sat down with Matthew a few times before the event and we worked out any kinks and discussed any sensitive family issues. This really put my mind at rest that the day would go without any bumps.
Food and drink wise, the venue provides these themselves and we worked together to plan exact amounts and came to a reasonable plan that worked cost wise and made sure no one went without. We also took a food home at the end of the night, because the buffet was extremely generous.
The DJ was hired by us and Matthew sorted him getting set up without even consulting us, he is extremely practiced and capable as a planner and knows when to come to you and when to just get things done for you.
I did warn guests to wear appropriate footwear, as if you are having a winter wedding it can get fairly muddy in the courtyard, but it is on a farm and if you want the great view and cute barn, you have to be prepared to get a bit mucky.
There is plenty of parking and accommodation on site, where the bridal party got ready. We also had the registrar meet us in the hostel and Matthew made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be.
I wouldn’t change a thing about the venue and day, the team could not have been more helpful and thorough. It was a beautiful day despite the rain and I wish I could do it all again.

I cannot recommend Vine View Barn enough. At first I admit I was a little sceptical of the venue staying open to the public and maybe not being as “pretty” as other venues, but I didn’t need to worry at all. Matthew is a real asset to the venue and made everything as pain-free as possible, and all the staff were amazing. The food was great (we had BBQ) and also had a pig race which was a great surprise for our guests. Everyone had an amazing time, and I cannot thank everyone enough for making our day so special.

We had our wedding reception here a few days ago. We booked with exactly a year to wait. Matt the wedding event planner was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. He was organised, kind and attentive.
We opted for an afternoon tea for our wedding guests as this is 1) what we love but 2) helped us stick to budget.
The food was fabulous, I’ve had nothing but compliments about what was picked by us and the quality of it all.
The coronation chicken sandwiches were also a huge hit.
We booked the pig race which made our guests laugh, despite the pigs not fancying an extra race that day! (They do say don’t work with animals!)

We also booked out the bonfire with marshalllows for our guests and this went down a hit! The guests loved this and I got them blankets to keep warm which helped.

We also paid for our guests to have the bbq again nothing but compliments and again we felt this was good value for us! The salads served with it were also fabulous.

We didn’t feel the need to book out the whole farm due to when we arrived and this worked so well for us.
We truly had the best day.
I spent 5k and this covered the cost for 43 of us.

It was a unique venue, our guests were not bored and they all loved seeing the animals. It’s also a great venue if you have children coming (we had two) and it was the best day ever for them.

Mathew here has helped us a lot. We have our wedding in November and with this 2 months notice they have accommodated us with all our needs. Price isn't too bad but your getting a wedding which will be a dream for people.

Myself and my husband got married at Bluestone, it is a beautiful venue with so much to offer. It provides a relaxed atmosphere and Matthew ( Events Manager) was absolutely faultless, he was on hand every step of the way on the lead up to the wedding and on the day. A kind and supportive set of hands who we couldn't have done it without. The staff at the venue were also great and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I highly recommend this venue, something a bit different to the norm, and worth it!

From the lead up to the big day, the whole experience was perfect. Matthew the events co-ordinator helped us with our organisation and was always prompt on the end of an email. We had so much choice of where to host but we choice to use the main barn and it did not dissapoint. The whole venue was beautiful, flexible and gave us the canvas to create our dream wedding. Food was floorless and all the guests still talk bout our amazing day now! They even recommended adult and kids entertainment. 100% would recommend for your big day.

We couldn’t have pick a better place for our wedding. Everyone said that they wouldn’t have thought of the place they all loved it. All the staff were lovely and the wedding and events Coordinator was amazing he made sure everything ran smoothly and he help so much along the way. They is so much for kids and adults todo from feeding the animals to going down the slide in the play barn. We had some amazing pictures taken in the vineyard and thought the trees, everything was just perfect and beautiful.

I got married here on Sunday 27th Aug 2023. Matthew was the wedding planner and was really helpful and managed the whole day perfectly. It is an absolutely stunning venue. You have the classy beautiful vineyard and the fun special twist with the farm.

We had a pig race that the guests loved and got marred in the vineyard. The chef and food were amazing, at least 15 people told us its the best wedding food they had ever had and I completely agree. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

We chose to view Bluestone vineyards as Cholderton rare breeds farm was a place I came a lot to as a child so had a special place in my heart already.
However, the wedding venue in the vine view barn is stunning, it’s a blank canvas but a gorgeous open space in a fun and interactive farm. You get the best of both worlds of being able to completely personalise your wedding but whilst having a fun and unique venue with so many animals to see! Our wedding here was beyond perfect. From food to fun activities and a unique ring bearer!
A special mention has to go the wedding coordinator Matthew. When we first booked our wedding it wasn’t Matthew as the wedding coordinator. We had had quite a few issues getting a response from said team member, however, they left and Matthew joined. From the first time we met Matthew we knew we could trust him. He is the most friendly, thorough, perfectionist and loveliest wedding coordinator you’ll find. Nothing was too much trouble, he sorted everything and in a speedy timely manner. When I arrived at the wedding venue for my wedding, I looked for him for reassurance that everything was okay and on track and he kept me calm at the one moment I was definitely panicking. He made sure our wedding went without a hitch and we had the most perfect day. All our guests who attended said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I’m sure that down to Matthew helping us to make it perfect. His staff and team obviously deserve a mention as on the day he didn’t do it alone! The food and service from everyone there was second to none. If you’re considering something a little more unusual with things like an alpaca ring bearer (we loved Baz) and sheep and pig racing but with still the most beautiful venue then this is the right place for you!

We had the best day; everything we could have ever wanted & more! Wish we could do it all over again 🥰🥰🥰
