Dave Colebourn has been playing the sax for fifteen years and provides sublime accompaniment to any part of your wedding day, right from accompanying you down the aisle to the heights of the afterparty!
He always puts boundless energy into his performances, and his greatest strength is how easily that energy infects the audiences that he plays to. All this is delivered by a calm, friendly professional with an eye for detail and your perfect atmosphere as his top priority!
Previous couples have cited the great choices of music, easy-going and prompt communication, and, of course, emphatic sax playing as highlights of their experience with Dave. He boasts a repertoire of over 250 songs (songlist available on request). He will always offer to learn some of your favourites, too, particularly for the big moments of your wedding, such as your ceremony, breakfast entrance or first dance. Any and all quotes from Dave will also include:
- A compact, discreet wireless microphone, equally suitable for dancing with your guests at a party or creating a poignant reception ambience.
- A battery-powered, plug-free PA system. Suitable for most outdoor spaces or rooms up to a capacity of around 100.
- PAT-tested equipment and Public liability insurance included.

How far in advance should I contact you?
I'm more than happy to be contacted at any stage of your wedding planning, all the way from deciding on an itinerary to a last-minute inclusion to brighten a reception or meal

Yes, i tend to travel free of charge for up to 10 miles, then a charge of £0.25/mile thereafter

I offer a huge range of performance lengths, all the way from a brief one hour show to a full day of entertainment
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
I can usually learn your two bespoke song requests within a week. Once arrived, I'll need no more than 30 minutes to set up

How do you charge extra time?
I typically charge £120 for the first hour of impromptu extensions to my performances, then £10 less for each subsequent hour

Incredible performance - A wedding highlight!
We absolutely LOVED Dave’s performance at our wedding. It bought the most incredible energy from start to finish and all our guests absolutely loved it!! Dave has been amazing throughout the lead up to the day, so so responsive and accommodating! An incredible list of song choices which were very well received by all guests of all ages. Couldn’t recommend Dave more!

Fantastic vibes highly recommend
We couldn’t have asked for a better sax player for our wedding in August! From the moment he started playing, he created such an amazing atmosphere and brought so much energy to the dance floor. Our guests absolutely loved him, and he had everyone up dancing all night.
What made the experience even more special was that he kindly played one extra song for our first set so I could have a dance with my Nana. It was such a thoughtful gesture and created a memory I’ll treasure forever.
If you’re looking for someone who is incredibly talented, professional, and knows exactly how to get the party started, I would highly recommend him. Thank you for helping make our wedding so unforgettable!

Amazing talent
Honestly Dave was amazing he collaborated with our dj and out on one hell of a performance. One that I will cherish forever. Dave is a very talented man. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Wedding surprises for my husband.
Honesty Dave is one of the nicest people I have come cross. He helped me surprised my husband on our wedding day he was amazing fast at responding back if i had any questions. I give Dave one song I wanted him to play he learned the song specifically for our day honest AMAZING. Dave played at start of our reception and he played us in to our wedding meal. All our wedding guests commented how amazing he was playing the saxophone and it definitely got our wedding reception started and set the mood for the rest of wedding. Honesty so pleased I choose DAVE to be part of our special day, definitely will be keeping his contact for future occasions if needed saxophone player will not go anywhere else. Dave prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend booking him got any events you got going on. Once again thank you Dave for all you did for our special day :)

Absolutely brilliant
Dave played two sets at our wedding lunch yesterday - it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish he was really quick to respond, super organised and able to adapt. He made our day exactly what we hoped it would be. Would absolutely recommend

We are very thankful to have booked Dave as our saxophonist for our wedding. It was the hottest day of the year and he did so well to play in the heat!
We were very impressed with his extensive play list, plus we were able to request a song which he performed brilliantly! “Where is my husband!”

So much fun!
Dave has been great to work with from booking him through to performing at my wedding! He worked with us in the planning of the day, and understood exactly what we wanted. We threw a mini festival for our reception, and he was great fun performing with our DJ amongst the crowd. Dave was also the opening act of our festival and began the evening performing in the courtyard as our reception guests arrived - this was great fun! He was so flexible throughout the day due to some factors out of our control ( ☀️ )!! I would highly recommend Dave, he was very professional and great fun at our event!

Would 100% Recommend!
Our saxophonist Dave, was absolutely brilliant and added so much to our day. He had everything set up before we arrived and played our entrance song at the venue perfectly, which made the moment feel really special.
During the reception, he was just the right amount of “wow” in the background, creating a great atmosphere while still letting guests mingle and enjoy themselves. The music elevated the whole vibe without ever taking over.
I booked him very late, but he was incredibly flexible and worked with me to make everything run smoothly. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough and would 100% recommend him to anyone considering live music for their wedding.
