It truly was amazing!
We had our wedding at That Amazing Place, and it truly lived up to its name! From start to finish, Angie, Louise and Paul were incredibly friendly, supportive, and easy to work with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make our day feel special. The venue itself is beautiful, but it’s the team that really makes it shine. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, 10/10 and would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue!That Amazing Place's reply:

Susan Sent on 23/09/2025An Amazing Venue… just like the name says!
What an Amazing Place indeed… and what Amazing People. Angie helped to make the planning and the day stress free and a wonderful experience. We had a September wedding in the main house with 80 day guests and over 120 in the evening. Full use of the house and bedrooms made it feel like home. The guests said how great it was to start in the bar area with its cosy sofas and our acoustic guitarist singer (Marc Oliver). A quick pre wedding drink and some light snacks got them off to a good start. Then into the lake view room for the ceremony which was stunning. From there to canapés and more music enjoying the late September sunshine whilst eating and drinking reception drinks. Next entering the dining room which looked so romantic to a welcome shot which they kindly allowed us to bring with a gorgeous main meal and dessert (Lizzie from Magpie Catering) with wine flowing and speeches with Prosecco … the drinks package is extremely generous and I would recommend. After that back to the main house for the evening party. We managed to fit in a DJ (Andy from Herts Events) and a 4 piece band (The Dukes) … the dance floor was full from the beginning to the end. More food which I didn’t see as I was to busy dancing but I am told was superb. We were looked after like royalty by Angie and her team until about 10.30. And then Paul (the owner) took over and we felt like his family. Such a brilliant day. It could not have gone any better and we are so grateful. The only bad thing I can say is that it’s a shame we can’t do it all again…. Thank you TAP.That Amazing Place's reply:

Best day of our lives at That Amazing Place! Absolutely stunning venue totally brought to life by the fabulous organised kind funny people working there. Extra huge thanks to Angie who has been there through every single emailed question and had advice, wisdom, ideas and skill to bring our wedding vision to reality. Our guests had an amazing time and my son now wants me to have my 41st birthday party there 🤣That Amazing Place's reply:

The best day of our lives!
Well… where do we even begin! We got married on Friday 27th June! And what a day it was… Angie and her team went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect.
In the lead of to the wedding Angie was always there! No question was to silly and nothing was ever to much to ask.
The venue itself it’s absolutely stunning and the family that own the property are the nicest people you will ever meet they make you feel like you are part of there family!
We honestly can no out into word how grateful we are for making our day run so smoothly and ensuring everything was what we invisioned and more!
Can we do it all again!!!!

We recently had our wedding here and it was an unforgettable day! Paul, the owner of TAP himself, was very involved and so accommodating and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. With so many amazing photo opportunities. Out guests have absolutely raved about it since the day!
The only thing I need mention is that if you’re not a dog person there are loads of the furry fellas roaming the grounds…and one roamed a little too close and walked over the train of my wife’s wedding dress seconds before she walked down the aisle 🤣 no harm done in the end though!
In particular a MASSIVE mention to Louise our coordinator, she was so helpful and kind. From the build up to and on the day of she made the whole event a well oiled machine. She and the team were so kind and helpful to all of our guests throughout the night and everyone noted it to us.
Thank you to TAP, we had the best day of our lives and it’s because of each one of you! -

We held a small family wedding (about 40 people) here and 'wow' the place and the team, particularly Angie, certainly were 'amazing'! The main house is beautiful and quirky and set in beautiful grounds, whilst the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It was spotlessly clean and felt very exclusive with it being sited away from neighbouring properties. We felt the setting was idyllic for our wedding and would certainly recommend it to others. -

We got married at That Amazing Place on 9/11/24
What can i say! 100% have your wedding here, you will not be disappointed. From first meeting Angie and the team in 2023, all the way through they were fantastic. We stayed in the beautiful cottage the night before. Our wedding morning, service, meal, evening everything was perfect.
Nothing was to much trouble, Angie and the team
Styled the venue perfectly, following my exact instructions and more. Words can not express how grateful we are for such a fantastic support team.
The venue is beautiful, it truly has its own personality. Every single guest commented the same.
Thank you so much Angie, Louise and team. You made our wedding exactly how we had dreamed xx
