Stone Barn is situated on a peaceful hill with sweeping views over the glorious Cotswold countryside. This historic building was transformed into a wedding barn by Cripps & Co, a family-run business that has nearly 30 years experience in creating weddings. The barn is located between Burford and Northleach on the Gloucestershire-Oxfordshire border.
Stone Barn’s generous interior is enhanced by flagstone floors, a huge open fireplace, and wooden beams. It is an idyllic setting for a ceremony during the day and is transformed into a dance floor for the evening. This barn can hold up to 120 guests for a ceremony or 250 guests for your evening reception.
Our adjoining Dutch barns have elegantly arched ceilings, beautiful corrugated iron roofs and sweeping views over the surrounding landscape. This split level space is set up for post-ceremony drinks at the gallery bar and wedding feasts down below. A large, open terrace has roaring fire pits to keep guests warm. The Dutch Barns can hold up to 194 seated guests.
A wooden shelter in the Stone Barn grounds provides an idyllic spot for outdoor ceremonies in the summer, with views across the surrounding hills.
Our in-house chefs design a personal menu and flame-grill food on a giant indoor BBQ (believed to be the biggest in the UK!) and rotisserie. We buy the best, cook it simply and serve it generously.
An on-site team provides an exceptional service and can help with everything from the big ideas to the last minute details.

Micro wedding
Staff were very professional and the day ran smoothly. The venue is beautiful and food is great. We had our wedding during the pandemic so aspects of the day were compromised based on government guidelines therefore value for money was less than if we were able to go ahead as planned.

Profiting from Virus
They are not refunding the devastated brides who could not get married this summer due to the virus, disgustingly greedy

The very best day
Stone Barn has always held a place in my heart as it's former use was my Grandfathers lambing barn. My poor fiance was dragged to the barn, 18 months prior to our wedding, already knowing he was going to break my heart if he didn't agree to marry me there! Luckily as soon as he entered the venue he turned to me and said 'I love it'. From start to finish the team at Stone Barn have been amazing. Our wedding on 15th November 2019 was everything we had dreamed of. I was nervous not seeing the venue fully dressed before I walked down the aisle but every detail was there exactly as I had explained. The Stone Barn team run the day so calmly and expertly - you could not be in better hands. My only wish is that we could do it all again.
