About the Red Lion

A large, traditional pub with lots of dark woods and original features, sits just outside Cheadle village, Cheshire, close to the M60 with a good selection of hotels and air bnb's nearby. The pub has two distinct areas, with the original space full of snugs, fires and a large bar, and then the conservatory which is a new additon. It is open, light and bright and has a retractable roof and sliding windows, which leads off to a terrace and to the large beer garden, known as The Bay.

The pub is a very popular choice for couples looking for a friendly, laid back environment however the standards, quality and attention to detail are very high and the team are passionate about creating lasting memories.

What to Expect

From initial enquiry the team would talk through ideas & plans, and with a fresh food kitchen the chef owner is available to create bespoke menus or hero dishes that mean something to the couple. There is a small amount of stock decorations that can be used and the team are happy to meet/work with external suppliers to arrange access times and specific requirements.

Capacity & Packages

The use of the spaces is flexible with the option to have welcome drinks in the Conservatory and then moving into the pub for food and drinks, or indeed the other way around. The maximum seated wedding breakfast is x50 if the couple wanted to have their guests in one space, or x100 if spread out in both. The standard packages are broken down below, however the team are very felxible and open to different budgets and requirements.
