Weddings at Rathfinny Wine Estate

Situated on the 600-acre Rathfinny Wine Estate in the foothills of the South Downs National Park, is the beautifully restored Flint Barns and Tasting Room restaurant which hosts just eight weddings each year for couples seeking a truly unique and exclusive venue in East Sussex. Couples can host every aspect of their wedding on our Estate; from the ceremony and reception to accommodation and hospitality, our packages are perfect for food and wine lovers.

Venue Options

The historic Flint Barns are located at the western end of Rathfinny Wine Estate and house 10 en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 25 people), marquee, courtyard and restaurant. Rathfinny cottage is also available with our exclusive hire packages, sleeping 4 guests and provides the perfect bridal preparation suite. The Flint Barns caters for up to 120 guests for the ceremony, dinner and reception.

For smaller intimate parties, we recommend the Tasting Room restaurant which is located in our award-winning Winery, with panoramic views of the Vineyard and South Downs. Exclusive hire of the Tasting Room restaurant and balcony can cater up to 30 guests.

About Rathfinny Wine Estate

Founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Mark and Sarah Driver, Rathfinny was once a working arable farm, located in the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Southern England. It occupies the main part of the Cradle Valley, on a south-facing slope close to the iconic Cuckmere Valley, just three miles from the sea and the famous Seven Sisters cliffs.

Today, Rathfinny Estate comprises of 93 hectares of vines, made up of the principle sparkling wine grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. We are proud to be a family-owned, grower-producer with B Corp certification. We craft low-intervention, Traditional Method, vintage sparkling wines with PDO status that are a true expression of our single-Estate terroir in the South Downs of Sussex.
