Radwell Mill is a family-run chalk stream mill farm and wedding venue on the River Ivel, in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and about 35 minutes from King's Cross. We've been here for generations, and we're opening our gardens to a small number of wedding parties each year.

The setting is genuinely special. The River Ivel is one of only 200 chalk streams in the world, and it runs right through the farm. There's a private mill pond, a historic mill house, and a large flat lawn surrounded by mature gardens that's big enough for a marquee of 60-80 guests. The whole place photographs beautifully in every season.

We offer total dry hire, which means the day is entirely yours. You bring your own marquee, caterer, bar and flowers, and we hand over the garden for the full weekend from Friday to Sunday.

On top of the garden, you also get two of our boutique Airbnb properties included, so the wedding couple and close family can stay right on site. Friends and wider family can camp in our orchard campsite just a short walk away, which makes the whole weekend feel like a proper gathering rather than just a single day.

The mill pond is right next to the garden and makes for genuinely stunning photography. Most couples end up with shots there that they couldn't get anywhere else.

Because we only host a small number of weddings each year, you won't be sharing the farm with another event. When you're here, it's yours.

The campsite means guests who want to stay don't have to worry about driving or finding a hotel. People tend to drift between the garden, the campsite and the mill pond all weekend, which creates a really relaxed atmosphere.

We're very flexible on how the day runs. It's your wedding and your weekend.
