We Knew Straight Away, This Was The One!
We viewed Quantock Lakes in 2023 for our wedding in 2026 after a recommendation from a family friend and as soon as we got back in the car, we looked at each other and was like that's the one, we fell in love! From the moment we booked, to the planning and eventually on our wedding day it did not disappoint, the staff make you feel that your day is also important to them! The venue, the accommodation and facilities are second to none, everything has been thought about in terms of what you could need for your wedding. (as an event manager myself this is what I look for). For us the cherry on the top was that it was dog friendly, so our dog could be there with us as our ring bearer. We had so many compliments from family and friends on how lovely the venue was also. Thank you!

We visited other venues but didn’t feel anything like we did at Quantock Lakes.
From the first moment that we visited Quantock lakes and met Laura we were completely blown away by the venue and Laura’s passion and genuine down to earth nature put as immediately at ease. We visited other venues but didn’t feel anything like we did at quantocks.
The planning of the wedding with Sarah felt seamless, well organised and totally took a lot of the stress out of it for us. Everything was planned meticulously which made the day go so smoothly.
The staff on the day of our wedding were also outstanding. Nadine in particular couldn’t do enough for us and again put us completely at ease and meant that we were able to trust that she had everything in hand.
The housekeeping staff were lovely, friendly and the accommodations were immaculate and everyone commented on how fantastic the food was.
All of our family and friends kept commenting on how wonderful the venue was and I think a lot of people would be recommending it to others who are planning their weddings.
We’ve attached a few photos from our day. We honestly couldn’t be more grateful to you all for making our day so special, it couldn’t have been more perfect and we will have the best memories from quantocks.

Amazing Food & Accommodation & Venue Spotless! Could not fault a thing!
From our initial enquiry with Laura, through all the planning meetings and countless emails with Sarah, to the incredible coordination on the day by Nadine, everything was absolutely perfect, even with the rain!
The accommodation was spotless, and we genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. Every member of staff was so helpful, friendly, and always there whenever we needed anything.
Since the wedding, so many of our guests have told us how amazing the food was from the starters, mains, and puddings to the evening pizzas and mac & cheese. Everyone had such a fantastic time and couldn’t stop complimenting the whole day.
We honestly cannot thank everyone at Quantock Lakes enough for helping us create our perfect wedding day. We will treasure the memories forever!

Even the rain couldn't ruin our day, and everything ran smoothly and the day was perfect.
We first visited Quantock Lakes in November 2023 after attending a wedding where Laura looked after us so well, hangovers included and that same care continued throughout our planning process. No matter how many late-night questions or last-minute checks we had, the team always responded promptly and helpfully.
We wanted a weekend-long celebration, and it certainly did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed the accommodation, swimming pool and outdoor space, which meant the celebration could continue to the early hours.
Sarah was brilliant throughout, helping us bring all our creative ideas to life while keeping our secret surprises under wraps. On the day, Kelly was fantastic, coordinating the groom's secret surprises and ensuring everything came together seamlessly.
The food was fantastic, with something to suit everyone.
Even the rain couldn't ruin our day, and everything ran smoothly and the day was perfect - we only wish we could do it all over again. Thank you for making our wedding day a dream come true.

From our first visit we knew this was where we wanted to get married, surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside in a gorgeous setting with everything we could possibly want. Laura and Sarah were great in the planning stages, helping us bring our day to life and Nadine and co were amazing on the day to make sure that our day was absolutely perfect. They took dietary requirements incredibly seriously, which meant that we could enjoy the day with no food anxiety which was such a blessing. Their decoration package was just right and we could make it personal to us, and the garden games - connect four, jenga, tug of war were all enjoyed by our guests. Getting married at the height of the heatwave meant the firepit wasn’t needed to keep warm, but the marshmallows were much appreciated. Being a dog friendly venue meant we could have our 2 Labradors with us, and the accommodation on offer meant our guests could have an amazing and stress-free weekend celebrating with us. The getting ready room in the Farmhouse was insane and a perfect place for the bridal party to get ready, while the grooms party enjoyed the Granary with the pool, hot tubs and pool table.

We got married at Quantock Lakes on the 9th of April 2026, and we truly could not have wished for a more perfect venue. From the moment we first saw it, we knew it fit us perfectly. It is breathtakingly beautiful.
One of our main priorities was finding a venue with plenty of accommodation, and Quantock Lakes delivered beyond expectations. The rooms are absolutely stunning. Having access to the farmhouse the night before the wedding was a wonderful bonus; it gave us the perfect space to relax and catch up with the bridal party before the big day.
The entire booking process, from our very first meeting with Laura (who was really wonderful and informative) right up to the wedding day, was easy and virtually stress-free.
Sarah, our wedding planner, was brilliant throughout the planning process and answered all of my questions incredibly promptly. Nicola was fantastic on the day itself. She was attentive, kind, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks to the incredible team, the whole day felt completely seamless. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We had so many guests comment on how beautifully run the venue is, which speaks volumes about their professionalism.
We would highly recommend Quantock Lakes to anyone looking for their dream wedding venue. Thank you for making our day so unforgettable!

The food was beautiful and plentiful, we couldn’t have chosen a more prefect venue!
We had the best day and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect wedding venue.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, so beautiful that our guests didn’t want to leave and couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous it was.
The staff were amazing from start to finish: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and so attentive, which made the whole day completely stress-free.
The food was beautiful and plentiful, with everyone thoroughly enjoying it, and we were so impressed with how thoughtfully they catered for all dietary requirements.
We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside, as well as our first dance, which made the entire day feel truly magical.
Everything flowed perfectly, and we wouldn’t change a single thing.
If we could do it all again, we would, without hesitation. Highly recommend this venue to anyone dreaming of a perfect wedding day.

Every single member of staff was friendly, welcoming and extremely professional and it genuinely felt like they had thought of everything.
From start to finish, Quantock Lakes were absolutely amazing. Every single member of staff was friendly, welcoming and extremely professional and it genuinely felt like they had thought of everything.
The whole process was seamless, making both the build-up to the wedding and the wedding day itself completely stress-free and truly enjoyable.
The venue is absolutely stunning, set in beautiful surroundings, and the accommodation is incredible, comfortable, well-equipped and with everything you could possibly need. It’s also very well priced for the quality and experience you receive.
The food was outstanding and received so many compliments from our guests.
A special mention has to go to our wedding coordinator Kelly, who was absolutely lovely. She made the day run smoothly and was such a pleasure to work with, ensuring everything felt relaxed and perfectly organised.
We cannot thank the team at Quantock Lakes enough and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a truly exceptional wedding venue.

Every single guest commented on how flawless the day was.
We had the most amazing wedding that exceeded all our expectations thanks to Quantock Lakes.
The accommodation allowed us to have a luxurious pre-wedding get together.
Their fabulous facilities and gorgeous accommodation prepared everyone for the next day which was truly stunning.
Nadine made sure the day went so smoothly, as a bride I didn’t have to stress over anything.
Every single guest commented on how flawless the day was.
We cannot recommend the staff and venue more highly.

The most magical day that we will cherish forever!
We had the most incredible wedding day at Quantock Lakes.
As soon as we saw the venue and met with Laura we just knew this was the right place for our special day.
Being able to have so many close friends and family stay the night before made the weekend so much more special as it gave us the time to really spend with those who mattered most to us.
The staff at Quantock Lakes were amazing and the day ran so smoothly. No dramas, no stress, just the most magical day that we will cherish forever!
