I photograph weddings for couples who want their day to feel like them - relaxed, meaningful and full of genuine moments. If the idea of stiff poses or being directed all day makes you cringe a little, you’re not alone - and you’re exactly the kind of couple I love working with.
I take a calm, unobtrusive approach, quietly capturing the real stuff as it happens: the nerves, the laughter, the hugs and the moments you didn’t even realise were unfolding.

We didn’t have quite a conventional reception, but we didn’t quite get all the pictures we wanted. We only received one picture of the whole wedding party and although it was raining, wanted a few more.

Robyn was excellent, we had quite a few surprises and different dynamics going out throughout the day and she was able to capture all those special moments without it feeling intrusive! We forgot some important photos on the day but when we received the gallery of photos everyone had been captured throughout the day in some way which meant the world to us! 🥹

Hi, I’m Robyn – a Lincolnshire-based wedding and family photographer capturing real, unposed moments.
In 2020, I launched Real Life by Robyn alongside my career as a midwife in the NHS. My passion lies in documenting genuine emotions - those fleeting, in-between moments that truly reflect your story.
My journey started in the NHS, where I still work as a midwife. Supporting families through life’s most important moments has shaped how I show up as a photographer too - with care, calmness and a deep respect for your story.
I picked up my camera during lockdown, craving a creative outlet. What began as a quiet escape soon turned into something really special.
At home, you’ll usually find me out walking with Gwen (my dog and sidekick), sipping strong coffee, or dancing in the kitchen to cheesy tunes. I’ve got a soft spot for birdwatching - it’s my little slice of quiet, and there’s nothing quite like spotting a barn owl in the wild.
I’m also a lifelong lover of sport (especially football) and I love the way it brings people together - just like a good wedding does. I love to travel, adore a dog at a wedding and I’m always up for discovering new places and stories.
