Amazing amazing amazing nch

From start to finish NCH remained professional, relaxed and had everything totally under control from first enquiring to our final prep! They were always responsive and happy to be flexible for our big day meaning it was exactly what we wanted. They remained totally ‘human’ throughout which I think sometimes in the wedding industry can be lost with a million extra charges for small things like sand buckets for sparklers at some venues and fixed packages. However, this is not the incase at NCH and they were totally transparent all the way and happy to work as flexibly as we needed. We were able to bring in our own food vans, ice cream tuktuk and Bandeoke entertainment for the evening. We have had so much feedback from friends and family about how fun and different our wedding was! We couldn’t recommend NCH enough.

Amazing venue and amazing staff

From start to finish the process of everything was so carefully organised. The staff at new craven hall can’t do enough for you. Jane and Charlotte are amazing at what they do. Jane did an amazing job at the venue styling it looked perfect. The best day ever!!!

Everyone should get married here!

From the moment we walked into New Craven Hall, we knew we wanted to get married there. It’s a special place but when we saw everything set up on our big day, it blew us away.

The whole team from start to finish were fantastic. They are awesome at what they do and you can tell they really care about making your day special.

Our whole day was perfect from start to finish, we cannot recommend NCH enough. All our guests echoed our comments too which was lovely to hear.

If you’re looking for a venue for your special day, please check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

The most relaxed wedding planning

I’ve been married 2 years in September and I’m still hearing from guests how it was the best wedding they’d been to, I know 2 couples who have since booked at this venue.. everything was so organised, literally no stress at all.. so accommodating, communicative, friendly, approachable, reassuring.. everything you would need when planning the biggest day of your life! Our wedding package was perfect, wedding styling by NCH was perfect too. Honestly wouldn’t change a thing and recommend!!

We had our wedding reception at New Craven Hall in July 2019 and it was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The venue itself is really unique and we loved how it felt a little bit different from the ‘norm’.
The whole experience and process of planning the wedding was incredibly easy and relaxed, with Gemma (along with others at NCH) being incredibly helpful throughout and genuinely wanting to support us in getting the kind of day we pictured.
Their organisation and coordination of all the suppliers we booked was amazing and on the day (and in fact prior to the day itself) we didn’t have to worry about anything; they took care of it all. There were certain bits of assistance we needed when setting up for the reception the day before and Ben from NCH was more than happy to help.
The DJ we booked as part of our package with them was perfect too - the playlist hugely reflected our own taste and all our friends and family had a fab time dancing the night away.
Our wedding day and all the planning leading up to it felt so calm and enjoyable and that is undoubtedly due to New Craven Hall and all their wonderful staff.

June 2018 Wedding

We had our wedding here in June 2018, and I still can't believe how smoothly, and perfectly it went. I was really conscious that a lot of venues only let you use certain food providers, with New Craven Hall, it couldn't have been further from the truth. We had a really informal set up through the day, and had street food and more of a party in the evening. meaning a massive set up change half way through the day.
We also wanted our puppy to be part of the day, and this wasn't a problem at all, in fact I think they all fell in love with our pupper on the day.
The venue itself is a real diamond - perfectly kept inside, and the open brick in our pictures just make us look like the coolest couple in Yorkshire.
On the month leading up to the wedding, Jane did all of our organising with all the vendors for all the complex things you don't even think about like timings, electrics, space. She also helped in parts of the day like comparing speeches, announcing cake cutting and first dances the list was endless, but all of it was so helpful, and no trouble for them at all.
Loads of people have told me how beautiful the venue was, and how it's one of the hippest weddings they've been to, but it wouldn't have been the same without New Craven Hall.
On the day, anything that was a last minute change, they all took full ownership of, and left me and my husband to enjoy the rest of the day, and that meant a lot to us too you spend a lot on weddings, and we're thankful we were able to enjoy the whole day with little worries!

June 2017 Wedding

New Craven Hall was the first of several wedding reception venues we had planned to look at but after meeting Jane and Ben for the first time and a guided tour of this fantastic space we had no need to look at the others.
From the first meeting, through the planning stages and the day itself, the event couldn't have gone better.
Communication throughout was excellent and we knew from the start that we were in very safe hands. The thing about Jane and Ben is that they are VERY nice people for whom nothing is too much trouble. They wanted the day to go as perfectly as we did and after realising that was the case we could leave them to get on with it. They can be trusted.
On the day, liaison with the caterers, band, DJ and entertainers was first class. The bar staff and security staff were professional and friendly. The room looked amazing and the outside area was perfect for mingling and relaxation. Feedback from family, friends and guests was 100% positive.

April 2017 Wedding

We had our wedding at New Craven Hall in May 2017 and it was absolutely fantastic!
It's a beautiful venue with a gorgeous bar area and looked amazing all set up.
Our wedding was quite big and we'd struggled to find a venue that was big enough but still looked beautiful and New Craven Hall was just perfect. Seated all 180 people comfortably and then there was plenty of room for dancing later on (with even more people!).
But the really wonderful thing about having our wedding there was Jane and Ben! They were so helpful and flexible, working directly with all our suppliers and making sure everything ran smoothly. Every meeting that we had beforehand left me feeling so relieved that we were in good hands.
Wish we could have our wedding there all over again. Could not recommend them more!

May 2017 Wedding

We held our wedding party in May 2017 at New Craven Hall.
We had arranged very small wedding abroad and were looking for a venue that would house a party for all of our family and friends afterwards. I fell in love with New Craven Hall for its uniqueness and industrial style. We liaised with Jane and Ben from start to finish who were so accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. To add to the party, we also hired a pizza van and DJ and sax which worked really well. On the evening the room looked even more amazing all dressed up and everyone complimented us on the fab choice of venue! I was so pleased we chose to go with New Craven Hall and would encourage anyone to book their events here. Thank you so much to Jane and Ben for making our party so amazing and we wish them lots of success for the future!

June 2017 Wedding

New Craven Hall was the venue for my wedding this June. It was recommended to us by a friend and we are so thankful! Myself and my then finance immediately fell in love with it. It was so different from any other venue that we had seen. The fairy lights and bare brick walls created such a magical feel. It was perfect as I refused to have ugly hotel carpets in my wedding photos! It's the perfect blank canvas as any wedding theme can fit into it. Ben and Jane were fantastic from start to finish. Our wine tasting was session was lovely and the selection to choose from was perfect. They were so kind and helpful and made the whole experience so much less stressful for us. On the day everything went as planned. All of the staff were so welcoming and Jane's assistant was on hand to discretely help with a family member that had had one too many shandys! Me and my husband are so happy that we got the opportunity to hold our wedding reception at New Craven Hall. We can't thank Jane and Ben enough for everything they did for us and how wonderful our day went. I would recommend every bride and groom to view the venue - it's incredibly special.

March 2018 Wedding

Thank you to Jane, Ben and the team at New Craven Hall. When Mike found this venue I wasn't sure what to expect, then I walked into it and just loved it! The fairy lights, the warmth (which was needed with the snow!) - it was perfect for our wedding party after getting married in Cancun and so many of our guests agree. Big thank you to Jane for knowing exactly how we wanted things and delivering! Would highly recommend the venue and wish we could do it all over again.

May 2018 Wedding

This venue and the people who run it are AWESOME!!!
We were looking for a wedding venue a bit different for our wedding on 26th May and this venue did not disappoint!! We fell in love as soon as we walked inside and knew it was exactly what we wanted. It is amazing inside and also the yard is fab for when the suns out (which it was on our wedding day).
The team there were fab from the first point of contact right up to on the day. I was constantly bombarding them with questions and they always replied with responses that told me they knew exactly what they were doing. The coordination meeting a month before the wedding really set me at ease as they were on it with everything. The day before we got access to the venue and they were on hand if we needed any help, the day of the wedding they set up our cake table and were around all day helping out. We didn’t even really need to ask them to do anything as they were on top of it. Then when it came to clear away the next day they had practically done it all for us!! Perfect when you’ve been partying till 3am!
If you’re considering this venue you MUST go to see it, so many of our guests were shocked by how amazing it looked after driving onto an industrial site and have commented about it since.

April 2018 Wedding

We had our wedding reception at New Craven Hall in April 2018. The venue looked stunning, and Ben, Jane, Gemma plus all the staff ran the whole event without a hitch. So many people commented on how great the venue looked, how it was unusual, how friendly the staff were and how much they enjoyed the event. In the whole run up to our wedding, it was so easy to get hold of the team (we live in London and weren’t around much, but they were so accommodating to our limited days available!) and nothing was too much hassle even when we requested alternative beers etc.

Owners

Jane & Ben are the owners of New Craven Hall, launching the venue back in 2016.

Jane & Ben play a huge role in the day to day running of the venue.

Jane is a hands on wedding coordintor and is invloved in couple liason, coordination and on the day running of weddings, also offering in house venue styling and floristy.

Ben is a little more behind the scenes but you may see him on your venue set up days throughout the week.

With extensive experience in hospitality from silver service dining to pub management, as well as several years as a wedding photographer, Phil draws on his industry-wide knowledge to manage the logistics and customer experience for all of our events.

Phil has a very hands on role within the venue, holding venue showrounds, couple liasion, coordination meetings and on the day wedding coordintion. He also assists with the logisital planning including supplier liasion and drinks packages.
