We were so close to choosing another wedding venue but when we visited Missenden Abbey we were really blown away with how beautiful the venue was and how lovely all the staff were.

The whole process from booking our wedding through to the day itself was so easy. We were SO lucky to have Natasha as our wedding coordinator who was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day, exactly how we wanted.

Every person working at Missenden Abbey that we crossed paths with was so helpful and professional.

The food was amazing, the venue was stunning, and we have had so much feedback from our guests on what a great venue it is.

We used Missenden Abbey for our wedding. From the moment we saw the venue, we knew we wanted to hold our wedding here. Natasha, our wedding co-ordinator, was really helpful and always quick to respond to any queries. On the day, Natasha was there to ensure everything was set up exactly how we wanted so we didn’t need to worry. The food was exceptional from the canapés to the wedding breakfast.
Our package included the DJ for the evening and Neville, the resident DJ, didn’t disappoint. We gave him an idea of the music we liked and he fulfilled the brief. I didn’t leave the dance floor all night.
Our whole day went like clockwork. It was our perfect day and this is in part due to Natasha and the whole team at Missenden Abbey. We would thoroughly recommend using Missenden Abbey for your wedding.

We had the most magical day and can't thank the staff enough. We had many compliments on the food, service, staff and beauty of the venue. Laura made us feel supported throughout wedding planning and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The pizza pasta van in the evening topped the day off!

Missenden Abbey was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Laura takes the weight off your shoulders & couldn’t do enough to satisfy our every need. Everything was taken care of. Great experience getting married at Missenden Abbey! All staff were friendly and accommodating, food was great quality and the coordinator Laura was brilliant throughout the day. Very pleased with the grounds and environment.

The only downside was the DJ, who got our names wrong and in general wouldn’t be someone who we would have hired.

We got married at MA in June, and can't recommend them highly enough. From the moment we booked, a year and a half before our wedding, they answered all our various queries quickly and efficiently. They accommodated all our various needs, including last minute room changes, and supplier requests. Our wedding coordinator had to take emergency leave the week of our wedding, and she was quickly replaced with another fantastic staff member who made all the final touches go smoothly. MA is quite simply a stunningly beautiful venue to get married, and the value provided by the staff, high quality food, included DJ, and the venue and grounds themselves is simply a great find.

I just wanted to say how amazing our Wedding day was. Laura, the Abbeys Wedding Coordinator, was the best & it felt like there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us, she made our day run so smoothly. The venue is stunning with its stain glass windows & pretty stair case & the grounds are kept immaculately. All the staff were so friendly. The food was very tasty & were really generous portions. All the guests that stayed said how lovely their rooms were, newly decorated & clean. It’s the perfect Wedding Venue!!

We planned the whole event in just over 6 months. From start to finish the team at Missenden Abbey made everything go smoothly. Natasha looked after us from the beginning, helping us to prioritise and giving us recommendations for various suppliers. We followed all of their recommendations and every one was exceptionally good. We had many special food requests and all of them were taken seriously, with Missenden Abbey looking after each one of our guests. On the day, we were looked after by Kathy and her team, who calmly ensured everything went smoothly and we knew we were in safe hands throughout the day. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the venue is an stunning in real life as it is in the brochure. We had the best day of our lives!

We got married at Missenden Abbey yesterday (25/5/24) and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day - truly the best day of our lives! Since meeting Natasha (our wedding coordinator) and booking our wedding in August 2022, Natasha has consistently gone above and beyond with every aspect of our wedding. Having such an incredible wedding coordinator honestly made such a difference to our wedding planning, and there is absolutely nothing I could fault from start to finish.

Every aspect of our wedding at MA has been absolutely outstanding - from the venue, to the food, to the coordination and organisation, everything! Our wedding food, made by the wonderful chefs, was honestly some of the best food we've ever eaten (we've had so many compliments from our guests)! It was a really nice touch when we had our wedding food tasting evening organised for us back in January, and we were blown away when everything was set up for us as if we were dining exclusively in the finest restaurant around! The food was prepared for us in the most magical way which was so special, and the staff had even printed off personalised menus for us for fun! On the wedding day itself, the food again was the star of the show, and we were so impressed with how lovely and attentive all of the waiting staff (waitresses & waiters) were!

We were so blessed to have such lovely weather on our wedding day, to truly showcase the beauty and glory of both the Abbey and the grounds. The whole set-up was absolutely perfect - there's nothing better than being offered Pimms or Prosecco after arriving at MA after the ceremony! Being able to have the resident Pizza Van (complementary with the wedding package we chose) in the sunshine for our evening guests was absolutely incredible too - genuinely the best pizza we've ever had and the friendliest man who owns the company too!

This truly is the best venue on the planet for a wedding (I know I'm biased, but I do genuinely mean it)! The wedding team (Natasha & Laura) have been absolutely fantastic, and it's been such a relief to have such communicative, transparent, efficient, and kind staff to work with! On the day itself (and the week leading up to the wedding), Natasha has genuinely been outstanding and went out of her way to make sure that every single request and need was met, and always put my mind at ease. It's been so lovely to have worked with such a lovely, kind, and supportive wedding coordinator, and I'm so grateful to have had someone so passionate about weddings help me have the bestest day of my life (because it truly was)!

I would absolutely recommend MA to every single person!

Everything came together so perfectly for our wedding day. Missenden Abbey has beautiful grounds outside and plenty of space inside so with rain and sunshine we were well covered. We were free to set out garden games that were a big hit. The bridal prep room was great for getting ready and the make up artists complimented its space and lighting as well. We couldn't have imagined a better day!

Couldn't fault the service that we received from the moment we booked the wedding to the actual day itself. Amazing venue and food.
Unfortunately our personalised cake topper went missing sometime during the evening after we cut our cake, and when we asked about it the next morning nobody seemed to know anything about it.
We even emailed a few days later to enquire if it had turned up, but never got a reply!

We had the most amazing wedding at Missenden Abbey in September. Natasha and her team worked tirelessly to ensure that we had the perfect day. And we did. The venue is stunning, and has some beautiful spots for photos. The food was fabulous - and this comes from a bit of a foodie - it could not be faulted. We could not have been happier with the service we received. The Events / F&B team were so friendly and attentive and just couldn't do enough for us. The little gifts left in the room were just a fabulous little touch after such a magical day. We will always hold Missenden Abbey very close to our hearts and have already been in for a delicious Sunday roast since our wedding! We really couldn't recommend this venue or team, highly enough.

Everything we could possibly want out of a venue. Lovely people, lovely venue. One of the best days of our lives!

We were lucky enough to get married at this beautiful venue on the 22.10.22. from the first enquiry to the day itself we couldn't have asked for a better team. A special shout out has to go to Natasha whom we started our wedding planning journey with and then Annabel who ended up taking over and being the best coordinator. She was warm, helpful and put us at ease. She dealt with my endless emails and truly is an asset to Missenden. No task was too big or too late she made us calm on the day and she's always smiling! Everyone said they've never gone to a wedding where it's all on time and seamless and that's down to the amazing staff.

We opted for the gold package and was not disappointed, food, drinks and the DJ were all incredible. Everyone has commented about how amazing it all was. Again a special shout out to Darren the most amazing DJ he had everyone on the dance floor all night!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and yet not overpriced venue. The staff were all professional and warm, our day was pure perfection and the best day of our lives so far. We can't thank you enough !

My daughter got married in October and not only was it a sunny day but the abbey staff was very professional and nice. They couldn’t do enough for the party. Even was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get married there. The food was very good . You an book with confidence
