Steeped in History...

Built in 1834 to commemorate the historic sealing of the Magna Carta by King John and his barons in 1215, the house embodies centuries of heritage and architecture. The remarkable stone room to which the charter was sealed & signed, preserved in immaculate condition — a timeless tribute to one of England’s most significant moments.

The gardens also feature a tree planted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, adding yet another layer of prestige to this extraordinary estate.

At Magna Carta Island, our focus is on giving you an exceptionally personal experience. We never book back-to-back weddings — this allows us to offer the flexibility and attention to detail you deserve. It’s your big day, and we can’t wait to help you celebrate it in a truly unforgettable way.

Located just 10 minutes from London Heathrow Airport, Magna Carta Island offers a beautiful riverside setting that feels worlds away from the city. The venue can host 50 to 100 guests outdoors, and your guests can arrive in style — by car or by boat.
