What can I say about Fairyhill.....Well they are incredible. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the staff are incredible from start to finish. They could not do enough, the whole day ran so smoothly and I could have asked for better. Would 100% recommend to anybody.

My wife and I were married at Henblas on the 19th of July. Heather and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The location is amazing with views of snowdonia hills in the ceremony room, so much thought has gone into the venue and the accommodation itself, the bridal prep room and the man cave are great touches. They have thought of every little detail. Heather and team checked in with us regularly on the run up to our wedding and gave us some great ideas along the way, also responding quickly if we did have any questions. The day itself was perfect, with staff always close by if we needed them and helped calm our nerves! Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they had been to, we’re so grateful to you all, thank you for making our day so special. Our only sadness was that we couldn’t do it again every week :)

I don’t have the right words, or enough words, for this review. We booked our date back in April 2023 and had our wedding day in May 2025. The team at Sant Ffraed House were absolutely outstanding. Rebecca, Carly, Gregg, and all the rest of the team who brought our day to life. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure we were okay, our guests kept entertained, and ensured the smooth running of the day. Nothing else went wrong - that I knew of! And all of our guests raved about the venue, the spectacular food, and how incredible the team are. They truly brought our day to life and made it perfect. We will be forever grateful to Sant Ffraed. Thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️

Having eloped back in June, we had our reception here in July. The staff are all amazing, especially Cathy, and nothing was too much for them. We dropped our decorations and things round the night before and liased with the florist to do likewise and upon turning up on the day, everything looked amazing and was how we had discussed. They even stepped in and supplied a cake when it emerged that our supplier had forgotten ours! Thank you for being so wonderful, this honestly was the perfect place.

Stunning venue, especially the Marble Hall. Cardiff City Caterers are very professional, good food and flexible in providing any extras that you want. Functions department are helpful but you might want to check who exactly will be there on the day as this was the only slight issue we had. Loads of lovely photo opportunties. Just want to do it all over again!

We had our wedding here in June and we can''t thank them enough - it was just perfect and the building is the most romantic mansion I have ever visited.

We got married at Tyn Dwr Hall at the beginning of September 2025 and it truly was the best day of our lives! When we started looking for venues, we looked at so many online but we knew after just seeing Tyn Dwr Hall online that it ticked so many boxes for us. Then when we went to see it in person, we were sold! The venue was absolutely everything we wanted, from the gorgeous building itself to the stunning views that can still be seen through the most incredible windows when you’re in the garden room whilst you’re having your wedding breakfast! The wedding breakfast room had to be our favourite part of the venue, it is just simply breathtaking!! The Tyn Dwr Hall grounds are another reason we fell in love with this venue, you can walk right round the grounds and see the venue from so many stunning angles. On your wedding day this offers endless beautiful spots for photographs. The varied options for accommodation are amazing too - traditional rooms in the hall itself, modern rooms in the coach house, a beautiful cottage and even a glamping village! We were lucky enough to be able to stay onsite the night before our wedding as there wasn't a wedding on that day, which just added to the excitement of the whole event. The staff were also absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process, every time we visited the venue before our wedding day all the staff were welcoming, helpful and so knowledgeable. A special mention to our wedding manager Shannon who was so incredible during our planning process, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always so helpful with any questions we had. She checked in with us regularly in the months leading up to the wedding and then during the day itself she helped everything run so smoothly. Shannon could not have been better, a massive thank you again!! The food at Tyn Dwr Hall is incredibly delicious and all done to such a high standard, the tasting evening was such a great part of the process too and we had guests telling us it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding! The venue and staff also worked amazingly with all our suppliers, some who had been recommended by the venue and others who had never worked there before - they all had such great things to say about the venue! We could go on forever about how perfect every aspect of Tyn Dwr Hall was for our wedding day but this review is now getting very long so we want to end it by saying the biggest thank you to everyone at Tyn Dwr Hall for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed of!!

My Fiancee and I got engaged on the Great Orme during a romantic get away and we wanted to return to the area to wed a few years later. We contacted Plas Mawr who opened up especially, out of season, to let us view the building before we booked. Arranging the wedding here was so easy. The staff were extremely helpful and caring and really responsive to how we wanted our big day. I really can't praise the staff highly enough and the venue was truly magical on the day. It was a wedding with a real difference made very special by the surroundings and the flexibility to have the wedding we wanted.
