What a blooooody belter of a day and night! From start to finish, we both had an amazing day, lots of love and laughter shared in the one room with our nearest and dearest! All smoothly ran, all the prep and everything in between couldn’t have gone better for a stress head like myself, however on the morning I had no stress at all, everyone was to attentive! The value for money of this venue is amazing & we love how they do not add ex amount of rooms if they aren’t taken into your bill! And don’t shoot the price up for a Saturday! Absolutely magical, can’t wait to do it all over again in 10yrs time! The bridal suite & honeymoon suite is brilliant and very spacious for all the morning prep! Loved it all.

Where do we start! Our wedding day was flawless from start to finish. Everyone at the Garfield works so hard to make sure the day runs smoothly.

Louize – We can’t thank you enough for making sure everything that we had asked for happened on our day, The number of e-mails back and forward was always answered, and nothing was ever too much, your time and experience is so valuable to couples who are getting married. I don’t know how you do it keeping up with all the different couples and organising all the fine details I was glad to have that part over with, but you thrive with co-ordinating all the different parts of a wedding ceremony and reception to make it special and personal to the couple.

Glen – Thank you for co-ordinating our whole day from making sure the ceremony went smoothly right up until the last song. You were always available to help. You went above and beyond on our day. The canapes were delicious and there were loads of trays, the drinks were flowing and you even helped one of the bridesmaids who managed to get a small stain on their dress.
The meal was delicious all our guests thought they were treated like royalty and was such a lovely atmosphere too.
Peter especially would like to thank you for being the coolest man in the hotel and you would just pop up randomly by his side asking if everything was ok, do you need anything, and then vanish just as quick and away to help someone else.
Thank you to Junior for being there to make sure we were happy with the set up for the reception, and making sure all our guests that stayed over had enjoyed their stay before they left to go home.

Lisa – Thank you so much for Friday night, making sure the room looked beautiful, and we could use our own playlist for during the meal, I think the kids enjoyed that a bit much! All the staff on the Friday night were attentive and everyone enjoyed their meal. Then Saturday you were there again to make sure everything looked beautiful, and we were happy. Also, on the Sunday just chatting away, I can tell how much you love working at the Garfield.

The Bar staff on the Sunday were so kind mentioning about how great the wedding went and how much they loved the DJ (the dancefloor was never empty)

Thank you to Oonagh and Angie for sorting out all our rooms and making sure Peters parents’ room was what we asked for as they struggle to walk very far, you took the time to listen and everyone loved their room.

The wedding package that they offer is really good. The cake, the piper, all the little extras.

Honestly, the amount of praise from all our guests is fantastic and it was the best day because of all your dedication and hard work.
