A Truly Outstanding Wedding Experience at Folly Farm, Worth Every Penny!
We had the immense joy of celebrating our wedding at Folly Farm, and we truly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue or experience. From start to finish, everything was simply exceptional, beautiful, heartfelt, professional, and absolutely worth every penny.
Affordability and Flexibility
The venue offered great value for money and worked perfectly within our budget, without ever compromising on quality. Folly Farm is affordable, especially considering the quality of service and the breathtaking setting.
Communication
From the moment we made our first inquiry, the communication was flawless. Every question we had was answered promptly and thoroughly. The venue team was incredibly supportive throughout the entire planning process, making everything feel easy and stress-free. Their attention to detail and genuine care truly stood out.
Kind, Professional, and Heartwarming Staff
The staff at Folly Farm are nothing short of amazing. They strike the perfect balance between being highly professional and incredibly warm and welcoming. On the day itself, we felt so well looked after, every team member went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Accommodating
We had guests with a wide range of dietary requirements, and Folly Farm handled them all with care, ease, and absolute professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone commented on how well catered the event was. Truly amazing!
Stunning Venue
The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful, romantic atmosphere. The on-site accommodation was fantastic, allowing us and our guests to relax and fully enjoy the celebrations. Booking the venue from Wednesday at 2 pm until Friday at 11 am gave us the chance to spend meaningful time with loved ones who had travelled from afar, something we truly appreciated.
Seamless Day-of Coordination
Even though there was a light drizzle on the morning of our wedding, the team adapted quickly and ensured everything was set up beautifully without delay after the light rain stopped. Their calm and efficient handling of the weather hiccup reassured us completely and kept the day flowing perfectly.
A Day We’ll Never Forget
The venue organizers were not only professional but also genuinely lovely people, whose warmth and kindness made all the difference. Thanks to them, we had the most wonderful, magical, and unforgettable day of our lives. Every moment felt special, and we are still glowing with happiness!

The venue were amazing from start to finish, they were willing to let us have multiple viewings and were happy to answer all of our questions. We had a large number of guests staying over friday night and several of them commented on how nice the rooms were. The staff were present and very helpful with any issues that cropped up. We had catered food on the friday night which was delicious and very plentiful.
We got married on the Saturday and the satff were great then too, very helpful with the organisation and flow of the day. Extra big thanks to Matt and Jason! -

Folly Farm was an excellent venue choice for our wedding day. They were very attentive to our needs, changing some of the timings to their normal format. They were very organised and the day ran smoothly without a hitch. It was a beautiful venue with plenty of space for our 60 guests, with some choosing to stay overnight. There was plenty of food and the evening fire pit on a cold spring evening. Matthew was there on the day to keep us informed and ensure everything went according to plan and was a very reassuring presence. The location is wonderful with views over Chew Valley lake and you feel very much surrounded by nature. Knowing that profits contribute to the Avon Wildlife Trust was an added bonus for us, with food sourced locally. There was plenty of food which our guests found to be delicious and made a point of telling us. -

AMAZING venue and staff!
We recently got married at Folly Farm Centre and it was everything we could have wanted and more! Matt and Jason ensured our day ran as smoothly as possible. The venue is stunning and that view! The food is incredible and all our guests raved about it. The packages available are really customiseable to be able to have the weekend that means your needs and shows your personality as a couple. Would recommend 100%! -

I cannot recommend this venue enough. We have the best weekend of our lives. Not only is it a stunning location, but the staff are incredible throughout the entire process. On the weekend they were super flexible to whatever crazy ideas we had and it truly felt that they wanted us to have the best time. The food was absolutely excellent, with an enormous range to pick from. Also, brilliant value for money. So many of our guests were jealous that they hadn't found Folly Farm for their weddings. They are simply the best. -

The perfect venue
We can't recommend Folly Farm enough. It was the first and only venue we viewed, as soon as we went we knew that was the venue for us. The venue is a very reasonable price for what you get and they are fair and very transparent about the costs of things. Not pushy at all - they give you the options and leave you to decide what suits you and your budget. We wanted the wedding to not just be over half a day - with Folly Farm you have the site for 2 nights so can enjoy time with friends and family around the big day! The nature reserve is such a stunning backdrop, gorgeous trees and wildlife - makes for plenty of great photos.
From after we booked to the wedding day Matt and the team at Folly Farm were super responsive, answering all the questions we had. They gave us the freedom to choose what we wanted to do but when asked, would recommend and suggest ideas for us which worked out perfectly.
For the wedding Matt and the team were there to help - we did a handover of what was needed for the big day and it was all taken care of by the team which meant our bridal party could also relax. They were very relaxed and supportive and allowed our vision to come to life.
We truly had the best time and couldn't be more grateful to them for making it enjoyable and completely painless from start to finish.

We had the best day/weekend and would 100% recommend getting married at Folly Farm.
We loved having 50 guests sleep on site and had a great catered dinner on the Friday night to kick festivities off.
The day itself ran absolutely seamlessly and the venue staff, particularly Matt and Jason, really went above and beyond to ensure everything went to plan so we could relax and enjoy the day and being with everyone!
The venue is beautiful, the food is excellent, and any questions we had in the run up were always answered quickly by Matt and Claire.
We loved the outdoor ceremony overlooking Chew Valley lake, it was really beautiful and special. Drinks on the lawn to kick off the celebrations, a wonderful 3 course wedding breakfast, and then a great party!
A huge thanks to everyone at Folly Farm for making our day so so special!
