Where do I begin!! What a GEM! We honestly can’t imagine a more perfect wedding venue than Soughton Hall! Every corner of the estate is stunning from the breathtaking grounds to the gorgeous interiors, everything is just magical! A massive thank you to Erin, our incredible wedding coordinator who made us feel completely at ease every step of the way. From planning before the day to keeping everything running perfectly on the big day, she went above and beyond to make sure it was seamless and stress-free - Thank you so much!!! The whole team at Soughton Hall are amazing and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Truly, the best venue ever and would recommend in a heartbeat!!

We had our wedding on 21st December 2025, we booked our date back in July 2024 so we had about 18 months to plan. We got allocated Flo our wedding coordinator about 8 weeks before the wedding and she was always so helpful if we had any questions. We had our final meeting 6 weeks before the wedding with Flo and Flo made everything so easy, she wrote us down a table plan, order of the day and just generally helped us with any questions we had, we had some last minute changes to the guest list and this was still not a problem. nothing was ever too much! We didn't hire any wedding venue stylist for our wedding, apart from Horizon Event Hire who provided us a Photobooth for the evening and Light up Mr and Mrs sign for the day! Which I must say the photobooth was a hit! I provided all the decor which Flo and the team at highfield hall kindly put out for us and made the venue look so beautiful. As it was Christmas time we luckily had the venue already decorated all christmassy from highfield which made it look so good! On the day I turned up at the venue at 7am to the getting ready room with my bridesmaids and flower girls and it was easy to access and Flo joined us at 8am making sure we we're all okay. I went into the venue a few times to check it was all looking good and flo and the team set it up all perfectly! My husband arrived at the venue at 12pm with his groomsmen for the ceremony at 1pm. Once we were all ready I was taken up to the honeymoon suite to get my dress on, which flo kindly helped as there was a lot of buttons on the back! Then during the day and evening flo was always there around checking everything was okay, Flo finished her shift towards the evening and let me know who was going to be looking after us. I honestly could not fault Highfield hall at all. The price we paid was amazing for the venue we got and we cannot complain. Thank you so much Highfield Hall!

We got married at St David’s Park Hotel on Saturday 25th October and the day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was stunning, everyone complimented on it. We would like to thank all the staff who made our day as perfect as we could’ve possibly dreamt of. The main people who we’d like to thank is Mike, Gemma, Tina, Mo, Megan, Molly Thank you all again for the most perfect day

We had our wedding at the hotel on 31st August and it was perfect. From planning it all with Maddie to the dedication of Nia and the team on the day it was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and it all ran smoothly. Our guests were extremely happy with their rooms and the food was gorgeous. Thanks to the whole team for making our day so special.

This venue is incredible. We fell in love with it from the moment we entered the driveway. Venue Beautiful, rustic, warm and inviting. Needs little decor, the decor you have will only enhance its beauty. Food The best wedding food we have ever had. Every guest commented on how nice (and filling!) it was. If anything, the food on the day was even better than our menu tasting. The wine is also delicious, we upgraded but the additional cost was minimal The coordinators…. Erin and Lia were actual angels. I gave very little instruction, we just wanted a relaxed and fun day for all. Anyone who has a stressful wedding day did not have these women coordinating it…. They took care of every detail and dressed our venue to be more than we could have imagined. The lead up to the wedding was completely painless with quick and efficient responses and advice. The loveliest ladies who added to our day. We are so glad they were a part of it. Over all, this venue is perfect. We also had access to the main hotel for rooms for our guests so it felt that the whole, beautiful place was ours. Outstanding, from beginning to end and we wish we could do it all again.

Wow, Halkyn Castle Wood is the BEST venue. It was exactly what we wanted and totally exceeded expectations. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough for it to be available on your date. 😊 Beautiful woodland, awesome stage, sound and lights. Perfect.
