Let us make your wedding dreams a reality in our private hire country manor house hotel in the south downs national park.
Our family run boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the countryside, dates back to the 15th century, with 11 elegant bedrooms and beautifully manicured gardens it truly is a beautiful venue to celebrate with family and friends on your wedding day.
From the moment you arrive you will be enchanted with the old wooden beams, lounge with its real open fire, picturesque surroundings and the friendly atmosphere.
Whether you plan an intimate gathering or a larger celebration our versatile spaces cater to every wedding style.
With 11 elegant bedrooms and a suite for the wedding couple in Harry Hotspur our four-poster junior suite overlooking the gardens. Your guests will also enjoy a restful stay in one of the other ten bedrooms followed by a banquet breakfast the following morning.
We are a licensed venue approved by the registrars of West Sussex for marriages and civil ceremonies in one of our function rooms, the garden or marquee.
Our function rooms can hold up to 52 in the Ascot room with a sit down for up to 60 in the terrace room. If you are planning a larger wedding we can arrange a marquee in the gardens which we can cater for up to 300 guests in a peaceful woodland setting
The gardens provide a romantic setting with the beautifully built pergola for your ceremony to exchange your vows or to enjoy your drinks whilst having photographs around the gardens.
Choose your menu all made by our talented chefs from a traditional two, three or four course meal, a buffet, afternoon tea or a BBQ. We are very flexible and if there is something you would like we are more than happy to try and accommodate.
Our dedicated wedding team are here to assist you from the start of your journey to and including your wedding day. We ensure every detail is taken care of from setting up to packing up, so you can relax and enjoy your magical day.
As every couple’s day is specific to them we love to arrange viewings with couples where we can discuss how you envisage your day and all the options available. We then send you your wedding proposal specifically quoted for you.

Wedding of the year!
We wanted to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue, and somewhere for our guests to stay too. Oh and somewhere that served delicious food.
Findon Manor ticked all those boxes.
Wendy was warm and welcoming and put us both at ease to talk through things.
We couldn’t be more delighted with our day. All of our guests stayed at the venue meaning we had all of Findon Manor to ourselves.

May 25 Wedding
We were a small intimate wedding for close family & friends of 23 for the ceremony with 7 more coming for the evening. We wanted a venue close to home, that could be a ‘one-stop’ for everyone. Where we could hold the ceremony, reception, a small number of rooms to stay overnight. We visited Findon Manor in January and met with Kay the owner. We loved the feel & look of the venue and were especially impressed with Kay.
We went away with lots of details & options. Having signed the contract we were given a list of suggested suppliers. From this we found our florist & wedding cake; they were both amazing.
During the 4.5 months communication was easy, we arranged 2 face to face catch-ups. We pulled together items to decorate the room, the placecards, table signs, order of service, wedding favours etc. We delivered them the day before, in marked up boxes with notes; the Team were amazing and took control of this for us. When we arrived on the day itself at 11.30am, all the tables were laid out and decorated ready for the ceremony at 2.00pm.
The day was perfect! We were so lucky with the weather, our guests were able to relax on the patio. The ceremony took place in the garden using the pergola as the focal point.
Everyone really enjoyed the food – the canapes, main reception & light buffet for the evening. We felt that we were in safe hands; Kay looked after the bride’s bouquet ensuring it had water.
The rooms were comfortable. Twelve of us stayed, together we had an exceptional breakfast too.
Our Wedding Day was perfect & relaxed – everyone enjoyed the day, this is easily seen in the photos!
