The perfect wedding! 🤩

We had our wedding at Eastwell Manor in July 2024 and it was INCREDIBLE!

From the planning process, Helen and Dawn were absolutely brilliant in the initial stages getting the date booked in, organising the majority of the day and liaising with us for details such as getting the rooms booked for our guests. They were so so helpful and we came to Eastwell a few times and they gave us their time to talk through things, and we felt so welcome every visit.
Closer to the day, Chris got involved and the excellent service continued. He did our food tasting (the food is unbelievable!). We decided on offering a few choices for our guests, including lamb, pork, chicken and vegetarian, and all of our guests said the food was exceptional!
Chris also spent time with us ironing out the finer details and how the day will run.
Then the day arrived, and thanks to the help of all the Eastwell staff, we were properly organised and relaxed on the day (apart from the threat of rain, but it did brighten up just in time!).
Every member of staff, including Helen, Dawn and Chris put so much time and effort into our wedding on the day to bring it all together, and we couldn't be more appreciative!
We also had the pleasure of having Jim as our master of ceremonies, who was amazing! Such a great character, kept everyone informed of proceedings and did it all with a smile and great humour!
We opted for an outdoor wedding ceremony, the garden is stunning!
We had the marque for our wedding breakfast, and for the reception. It all came together so perfectly, and we have the whole crew at Eastwell to thank for that. The building itself is so so beautiful, and we couldn't have picked a better venue!

Staying over felt like royalty, and we saw most of the wedding team the next day and they once again were willing to give up some time to speak to us, say how wonderful the day was and made us feel so special, even though technically their job was done, they still had the time to come and see us.
We made full use of the spa facilities including the outdoor pool, and we did not want to leave.

We can't wait to come back and celebrate our one year anniversary there next month!

Given the power to go back to the very beginning, we'd pick Eastwell every time!

Our dream wedding - Incredible venue and amazing day!

We got married at Eastwell Manor in August 26 and had 50 day guests and 70 evening guests. We probably looked at over 20 wedding venues before choosing Eastwell Manor and until them nothing quite fit - restrictions, rules, not enough accommodation etc

Eastwell Manor ticked every box and they also had a spa on-site! It was a no brainer for us and also sentimental for my husband as my father-in-law had a wedding lunch over 20 years ago for his second marriage and he remembered thinking he was at Bruce Wayne's Manor as a teenager obsessed with Batman.

Pre-Wedding:
In the run up to the wedding, Helen and Annie were fantastic and very responsive. No question was too silly, and we really enjoyed our menu tasting with them. We arranged everything that we wanted for the day and nothing was too much trouble, I was really grateful to have found a venue where they don't just say yes to everything to get your deposit and then T&C's start appearing after!

We chose to stay with our wedding party the night before, and use the spa in the afternoon which was a lovely start to the wedding weekend. The staff checked in with us and made sure our guests felt welcomed. The suites were all very pleasant, clean and grand and they gave us fans for the rooms. Note that as an old building there is no AC, the rooms can get a little hot when we had exceptional 36c heat! Outside of a heatwave I don't think this really matters but be careful for high summer weddings.

Venue grounds and ceremony:
There is no doubt that Eastwell is a stunning venue and everything from the drive up to the manor itself is very impressive. Some venues look gorgeous when you get there but are let down by the drive way, Eastwell really has the wow factor. We chose the Maids garden for the ceremony as I just adored the bridge and the view over the fields, had a really Mediterranean/ethereal feel for the ceremony. The wisteria was also lovely and we got some amazing pictures here. For the reception drinks area, this year was a massive heatwave/drought so obviously the grass was brown not green but the structural yew hedges kept everything looking formal and pretty. The only less positive thing I'd say about the grounds is that as a gardener with a keen eye I noticed some small areas in need of weeding and pruning, in other sections of the grounds, and although conditions are challenging I think the company should put more behind their gardening budget and help the gardening team out who I am sure are doing their best with what they have! That being said this isn't really a big deal and didn't stop us from choosing the venue, and its not in issue in the main wedding spaces.

The interiors are really stunning and there is plenty of seating everywhere which we wanted for our guests to relax and have plenty of spaces to chill out in between all the fun. The wedding breakfast room was gorgeous and looked incredible with our décor, I loved their chandeliers and wood panelling. Its also great to have a separate bar and lounge area for your guests right next door to the wedding breakfast room as it means people aren't standing around for drinks crowding the main room. We chose to have an external company provide a dancefloor and party up lights and really recommend this as it transforms the space for the evening party.

Exclusivity: One of our requirements before venue hunting was exclusive use, and this is something Eastwell Manor offers. However, we chose in the end to save our budget and opt for non exclusive package and actually didn't mind this at all. The wedding areas are really separate to the rest of the hotel and once most of our guests had booked a room there really wasn't that many other guests around. So I wouldn't let that put you off if you can't afford the exclusive option as we didn't feel intruded on at all.

Food:
We were a bit nervous as there were some less positive TripAdvisor reviews of the restaurant (as it is a hotel not just a wedding venue) but we were absolutely blown away by the chef on our tasting evening and had no worries after. Food quality was very important to us as we've had fine dining/Michelin star food around the world and wedding food doesn't always cut it, but they were exceptional on the day. Many of our guests even commented to us that it was the nicest, tastiest evening buffet they'd had. They also provided a lovely brunch platter for the bridal suite in the morning, including room delivery cooked breakfast and sandwiches for the groom getting ready area. We chose to have pizza as a late night snack option, but they really offer everything and definitely no one is going hungry or thirsty. There was a little miscommunication with our wedding cake as it wasn't all served, they had assumed we wanted to keep the top tier and we didn't but overall a small issue and it didn't affect the day, as lots of weddings we've been to the cake usually doesn't get all eaten anyway. And we have it in the freezer now!

Staff:
We used their recommended toastmaster Geoff who is highly recommended, between him and the Eastwell wedding team they had everything precisely as I wanted and as the bride I was able to relax and enjoy my morning and day as one half of the guests of honour and not half wedding planner! They really step up here as it doesn't feel like you're just one of many weddings on their conveyor belt, and the team's hospitality expertise as a hotel shine through. There was a bit of confusion for the hand over to the evening team, as I had a planned outfit change and we did a choreographed first dance that needed set up that the evening team hadn't been briefed on, but my groom was able to sort this out in under 15 minutes so no issues really and it was quickly sorted. The staff were very quick bringing out the meals and we didn't notice anyone waiting for courses, and there were no complaints about the speed of service for drinks.

Overall we had an amazing day and we are so glad to have chosen this venue as it all came together perfectly exactly as planned. Even the day after the wedding the staff were so friendly asking us how the day went. Special shout out to Helen, Annie, Geoff and the American chap in the Gardenia restaurant who apologies we have forgotten your name but you made our second dinner together as husband and wife so special and we enjoyed sharing our hidden star trek theme with you!

A Truly Unforgettable Special Day

We booked the Knot now, Knot later package and planned our wedding with Annie and Helen, within six months. The package included a three course meal, 8 rooms with access to leisure facilities, toastmaster, hire of private bar and function room until late, with evening light bite. Both Annie and Helen were amazing from the initial contact through to the day itself, answering all our questions efficiently and put us at ease throughout. Everyone commented on the table service and how delicious the food was, as well as how great it was having Geoff the toastmaster on hand all day. The venue was immaculate and the grounds manicured, truly making it an unforgettable special day! Thank you too all the team at Eastwell Manor.

Absolutely fantastic service throughout

From start to finish our experience with Eastwell Manor was superb. Annie and Helen were responsive at all times to any questions we had and put our minds at rest. The food was amazing and when we went for our tasting we were thoroughly spoilt and were able to adjust our menu to our liking. We were given suggestions as to room layout and Annie made our welcome sign and place names etc, and the team rallied round setting up for our day. We even had a private room for the bridal party the evening before the wedding. Chris also went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed. Even saving us food and canapés. He was waiter, organiser and barman and wore multiple hats on the evening of our wedding. The toastmaster Jim took charge and was absolutely amazing. Helping with everything from dress issues to making us feel like royalty. The team blended in but were there for our every need. We felt we had total value for money at Eastwell Manor, with 10 rooms included in the package. A classy/high end fairytale venue, with personable, fabulous staff. What’s more to like. Only but of constructive feedback, as a spa hotel, we would have thought with the amount we were spending that we could use the spa at any time, rather than before 9am and after 5pm. However we didn’t have time anyhow and had an amazing weekend. Thank you to all who made our day so perfect. Regards Mr and Mrs Thompson.

Our Wedding Experience

We had our wedding in September and what a memorable experience we had.

Helen and Annie were very efficient and friendly, helping us with any queries we had. We had a meeting to run through where the ceremony and reception would likely be, food choices, had a look around the bedrooms and got a quotation pretty quickly. Once we decided we wanted to go ahead, we was invited back to do a food tasting which was delicious. Everything was clearly laid out as to how payments were made leading up to the day and the team were very responsive to anything we wanted to know.

We arrived the evening before the wedding, (staying in separate rooms of course) and woke up to a lovely breakfast of choice to our room before we started to get ready. Everything was nice and relaxed leading up to the ceremony and we had the best day we could have asked for. Chris couldn’t have done any more for us on our Wedding day, and we are so grateful that he was running the day. Everything worked out so perfectly and all of our guests have continued to say how memorable and amazing the day was.

Eastwell Manor is such a beautiful location for a wedding, and I would highly recommend speaking to the wedding team to at least get a feel for what they have to offer.

Thank you so much for giving us the best day we could have asked for.

An Absolutely Amazing Day

We had our wedding at Eastwell Manor in September 2025 and it was amazing! We couldn’t have wished for more.

When we first looked at the venue, it just felt so right. The place felt warm and welcoming and the staff very friendly.

We first met with Helen and she just put our minds at rest. Nothing was a problem. Any questions we had, both Helen and Dawn came straight back to us with answers and solutions. They also booked all our rooms for our guests which helped a lot. We had the bridal suite and that was perfect, especially with the views.

We met with Chris and he did our menu tasting which was absolutely delicious. He also went through the room plan with us and again gave us suggestions which was really helpful.

A group of us stayed the night before and we met with Helen to go through everything. We were looking at having the wedding outside in the Maids Garden and were keeping our fingers crossed.

The restaurant and the bar staff the night before were fabulous. So helpful and we had a good laugh with them too.

The day of the wedding the sun was shining so we had the wedding outside which was absolutely amazing. The Maids Garden looked so pretty with all the flowers and the grounds looked stunning.

As previously, Helen was on call and she and her team were brilliant with all the arranging and organising so everything went smoothly with the ceremony.

Again, with the wedding breakfast, the staff were so accommodating and fast with serving the food so it was hot when delivered to the table. Complements to them.

We feel that Helen, Dawn, Chris and the whole team put so much time and effort into our wedding that it took all the stress out of it for us to enjoy the day.

We would recommend Eastwell Manor 100%.

Thank you!!

The best day at the best place

I started planning my wedding 4 months before we got married and no one would have known. The staff at eastwell are responsive, caring and overall just fabulous. From the wedding co ordinators, to chefs to their waiting staff every single one of them are there because they want to be. They were great before the wedding with numbers, budgets and even helpful with stuff I hadn’t thought about to the big day where they kept check on time, supported me, my husband, children and everyone in between. The professional level they hold themselves should never be knocked. I cannot fault the venue as itself. It is beautiful and picturesque. I’d get married there every day

The best day of my life

We got married at Eastwell Manor on 7th July 2024. We thought we would be guaranteed sunshine but it did slightly rain in the morning of the wedding.

We had planned to get married outside on the lawns but the weather changed that, so we opted for the internal room. We had 90 guests and the room was packed with a string quartet and couldn’t have been more beautiful - when it was a plan b back up.

Luckily the sun then came out and we managed to have our first kiss and confetti moment out on the lawn as planned.

We had our wedding breakfast in the outdoor marquee which was stunning.

The venue was just overwhelmingly beautiful and just as we imagined our wedding day would be. Having all the options throughout the day gave us such a varied wedding day with loads of stunning photos. We wanted to make the most of what the venue had to offer.

Our photos speak a thousand words but can’t thank the team at Eastwell Manor enough helping us arrange the most perfect day of our lives.

Adam & Anita 24-08-2024

We got married in August 2024 and we had the most stress-free and beautiful wedding. It was raining on the day and our Plan A was for the ceremony to be outside, but on the day it had to be changed to Plan B. The Eastwell Manor team handled the change of plans with such ease, I didn't have to worry about a thing and the end result was better than our original plan! The wedding coordinators at Eastwell Manor are incredibly organised and professional. Jim, the Toastmaster, is an absolute delight and really brought the crowd together. The food was excellent and the tent outside was beautiful at night. We had a beautiful day and are eternally grateful to the team at Eastwell manor for looking after us so well. The rooms are stunning to stay in and the bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous to get ready in with your bridesmaids.

Our Christmas wedding at Eastwell Manor 🎄❤️

After getting engaged on my 40th birthday, we decided we wanted a Christmas wedding and wanted to plan it within a year. We had Eastwell Manor as one of our venue choices and after viewing it in December 23 (when it was decorated for Xmas) we completely knew it was ‘the one!’. Throughout the year of planning, Dawn and Helen were amazing. Responded to emails etc quickly, helped wherever needed, and it was lovely to have a menu tasting session in a private room. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before. A few of us had dinner in the bar which was very relaxing. The room/suite was beautiful. The bath was amazing (see photos) and I had a lovely morning getting ready for the day ahead. Our wedding was so special. To be surrounded by our guests in such a fabulous venue so beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was magical. Everyone said how great it was. The food taste delicious and was presented well. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed in the bridal suite that night and it was just great. I would 100% recommend this venue. Id also recommend a Christmas wedding as the atmosphere is something else. Thanks again Eastwell Manor, Dawn and the team, you are amazing 🤩 Love Mr & Mrs Smith (22.12.24) 🎄 xx
