Cromwell is a historic property and romantic wedding venue in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Steeped in over 500 years of history, the enchanting Cromwell Hotel has undergone a full refurbishment. The former residence of Oliver Cromwell's secretary, this very special venue is less than half an hour from London's King's Cross Station. With beautifully appointed lawns and a charming garden, this venue is a glorious throwback to time past.
Facilities and capacity
Civil ceremonies in the Cromwell Suite can include up to 120 guests with receptions for up to 150. For evening afters, 200 guests can be accommodated. There is access from here to the serenity of the large gardens. Smaller weddings for 50 guests or under are held in the intimacy of the Bourchier Suite.
Services offered
This lovely hotel is fully licenced to hold civil ceremonies. They also have a licence for ceremonies outside in their pretty garden area. Conveniently located a few minutes from the motorway, there is plenty of parking space and the train station is within walking distance.

Think seasonal and traditional but with an innovative angle - this is what their reputation is built upon and what they do best. Everything is freshly prepared with all tastes considered, and all special requirements can be satisfied to perfection.

The wedding fair will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and admission and parking is free. You will be required to enter your registration number into a tablet at reception upon arrival for the duration of your stay.
