Nestled in the Dorset countryside, Chettle Lodge (formerly The Castleman Hotel) is an ex-dower house providing the ideal location for intimate countryside weddings.
The house is over 200 years old but is comfortable and full of character with eight ensuite bedrooms, two spacious lounges with woodburning fires, a snug, a large dining room with a bar and a well appointed kitchen. The house itself has large gardens, a walled pear walk and private parking for up to 15 cars.
Please note that Chettle is a community first and foremost so we are only able to accept bookings for smaller intimate weddings of no more than 50 people.
Chettle Lodge can sleep up to 18 comfortably or up to 23 with extra z-beds if required.
