We had our Wedding at Cantley House Hotel on the 21st August 2025 and if only we could turn back time and do it all over again EXACTLY the same. Zoe, our Wedding Coordinator was flawless in all she did for us. Nothing was too much trouble and it genuinely felt like one of our friends was working behind the scenes. Dianne was also impeccable in all she did for us. I can't wait to go back even if it's just for a drink and to reminisce of our incredible day. Seamless from start to finish!!

We recently got married at Cantley and couldn’t have been happier with both the venue and all the staff, in particular Emma and Dianne. We had exclusive hire on a Thursday in August and the team made everything so easy from our first look around to the day itself. Our guests commented on how great the food was and we were also able to enjoy breakfast with them the next day. All of the rooms used for the ceremony, arrival and wedding breakfast/reception looked beautiful and the grounds (even with the drought) were lovely. The flowers in the courtyard were stunning. Thank you so much to all the team for making our big day so special. We’ll definitely be back for a meal soon too - we ate in the restaurant the night before and all seven of our party thoroughly enjoyed their food. 10/10 all round!

Emma our coordinator could not have done more for us from the moment of booking she was so responsive and answered all our questions. Her organisation let the day run so smoothly and our planning meetings prior to the wedding made us feel so much more at ease for the day.

We had the Friday Exclusive package which was amazing to hire the whole hotel. Guests said how beautiful the venue was and how attentive the staff were. We were so lucky and had an outdoor ceremony with the barn for the reception and it was the perfect day!

Our day ran so smoothly with the thanks of Emma our wedding coordinator, who was amazing in the lead up to our special day. She was quick at responding to emails with any queries we had! The moment we booked Cantley house, the process was made so easy. We picked a package which allowed all of our near and dear ones to stay, so they too could enjoy our day to its full potential. Thank you so much once again for all the planning, preparation and love that was poured into our day. We will be coming back to visit in the near future whether it’s for a meal or a night away!

From start to finish the experience at Cantley House Hotel was brilliant. Lara, the sales and events manager, guided us through every step of the process and really helped us feel like everything was in hand in advance of the wedding.

Getting married outside on the lawn was incredible and everything was beautifully setup without us having to worry about a thing. We had a guitarist play (Mark Rose from Encore Musicians) during the ceremony and drinks reception and it really added to the atmosphere of the day!

The food was outstanding, whether it was the canapés, the wedding breakfast, or the pizza from the pizza oven in the evening, we couldn't fault any of it and our guests thoroughly agreed.

The barn was beautiful and the perfect location to host not only our meal but the Ceilidh (by Ceilidh Tree) afterwards. We had additional lighting from 'Not Just DJs' and flowers from 'Blooming Fabulous Flowers'. Our only comment would be that it can get very hot in there. But as it was 32 degrees celsius outside on our wedding day we can't imagine that's always an issue!

Having the beautiful grounds of Cantley Park surrounding the hotel was fantastic for our evening couple photos at golden hour. This was a lovely chance to slip away as bride and groom, knowing our guests were happily looked after at the hotel.

Something that can't be highlighted enough is the benefit of having a venue that has rooms on site. Having your closest friends and family stay to the end knowing they can just walk a few steps to bed is perfect and meant that everyone who wanted to could enjoy the day from start to finish. We had 20 rooms reserved for our wedding guests from the moment we booked and our guests were able to book these at a discount. Our suite for the wedding night was stunning.

Overall we would highly recommend Cantley House Hotel and Barn to anyone. If you happen to look at it on a map, don't let the location fool you. It's tucked away from any residential house and you would think you're in the middle of the countryside when you're actually at the venue. It's absolutely perfect.

I was so anxious in the lead-up to the day, especially with all the different moving parts, but Emma and the entire team were incredible.

It was an amazing wedding day thanks to our lovely wedding coordinator Lara. From start to finish the whole experience was easy and nothing was too hard for the staff to accommodate. Our guests had nothing but compliments on everything. Neither the groom or I had to worry about anything on the day, it went so smoothly like I knew it would due to the continued communication before the wedding and the fact that our coordinator understood all of our needs. One very happy bride and groom!

Where to start!!! We had our wedding day at Cantley House! We had the most AMAZING day! From the open day and meeting with our wedding co-ordinator Lara, all our questions were answered and we felt so at ease. The communication from Lara was brilliant. All questions answered promptly. All meetings leading up were professional and thorough. The menu and wine tasting in the restaurant was the most special experience. Matt looked after us and made us feel so important and was so knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food, wine and prosseco served was all top quality and delicious. On the wedding day the table service was amazing, with piping hot delicious food. Throughout the day Lara, Dianne and Matt looked after us. They kept me up to date and the day went SO smoothly, we didn’t worry about a thing and just enjoyed ourselves. Everything went according to plan and was better than we ever dreamed on. The venue is beautiful, so cosy and kept all our guests together all day. Everyone loved cantley house and had the most fun ever. The DJ provided by cantley house was also amazing. Taking requests, which were played instantly all night. He read the room and played the most amazing songs one after another. We are eternally grateful to Cantley House, thank you thank you thank you

We had a late availability package which was incredible value for money. Lara was absolutely brilliant with us, very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We were a clueless couple but felt guided well. We had a lot of accessibility and dietry needs which they met and went beyond our expectations. We weren't sure whether we were going to have an indoor or outdoor wedding due to the weather but they were flexible up until the day! We ended up outdoors, and the gazebo was fabulous! We loved the space, the mixture of nice grounds, smart rooms and the barn feel. The food was incredible and the guests loved it. We went for the pizza oven which was fabulous too. We had the best day and wouldn't have changed anything! Thank you to all the staff at cantley who made it amazing!

Where do I begin?!

My now husband Paul and I booked our wedding ceremony at Cantley House, and it was the best decision we've made when it came to our wedding. Given that we're planning a wedding from Canada, we expected there to be some difficulties and challenges in the planning process, but we didn't find that to be the case.

We wanted to have a UK wedding due to travel logistics for some family members, and we don't regret choosing Cantley one bit.

Paul an I talked to Zoe and booked their Signature Wedding package. Zoe made the entire experience so easy. She listened to what my husband and I envisioned for our wedding and made suggestions on how to achieve our goals.

During the planning stage, she answered any questions we had, made suggestions with any concerns, and accommodations where accommodations to requests could be made. We were in constant communication, and she was amazing at all the different changes we made throughout this planning stage. We did a run through of the venue with her a few days before our wedding, and made any last minute changes. This being the first time we actually laid eyes on the venue, it was better than what we saw on the photos. Incredible layout!

Now the wedding day. Zoe made the entire day so seamless. I felt like Paul and I were able to just focus on each other and the importance of that day. It was such a stress free day! We didn't have to think or worry about anything. Zoe and the rest of the team just made it so easy. They were excellent at moving the event along and moving people to where they needed to be. When Zoe had to leave, she made sure that we were aware, and she caught Mateo(?) up to speed. Mateo took care of the rest of the evening and made sure that the evening carried on smoothly.

Honestly, it was such a stress free day! Exactly what we were hoping it would be. It was a day full of love and laughter, smiles and tears of joy. Very little worries and no stress. We couldn't have had that if it wasn't for Zoe, Mateo, and the rest of their team.

Emma Julian sorted out all our needs and throughout our whole stay there. The venue is an amazing place from the start of our wedding outside in the sun to going in for the wedding breakfast and through to the afternoon/ evening party.
