Cantley House Hotel and Barn

We had our Wedding at Cantley House Hotel on the 21st August 2025 and if only we could turn back time and do it all over again EXACTLY the same. Zoe, our Wedding Coordinator was flawless in all she did for us. Nothing was too much trouble and it genuinely felt like one of our friends was working behind the scenes. Dianne was also impeccable in all she did for us. I can't wait to go back even if it's just for a drink and to reminisce of our incredible day. Seamless from start to finish!!

We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding! Everyone at Cantley made us feel very welcome and the day was completely stress free. Everything went so smoothly and seamlessly, exceeded all our expectations. Many of our guests also mentioned how great the venue was and commented on the delicious food.

The organisation process was made very easy, we felt at all times that Cantley had everything under control. Lara and the team were brilliant throughout. We could not recommend this venue enough!

We honestly cannot thank the whole team at Cantley House Hotel enough for helping make our wedding day so special. From the moment we started planning our wedding to the day itself, the team were wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue to celebrate such an important moment in our lives.

A very special thank you goes to our wedding coordinator, Emma. She was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process, always taking the time to answer all of our questions, reassure us whenever we needed it, and make sure we felt supported every step of the way. Every time we met with Emma, she created such a calm and welcoming environment, which made such a difference and helped us feel relaxed and confident that everything was in safe hands.

On the wedding day itself, Emma was just as fantastic. Weddings can naturally come with lots of emotions and nerves, but having someone so organised, approachable and calming made everything feel so much easier. We were able to relax, enjoy the moment and truly take in our special day, knowing we had such a wonderful team looking after us.

The venue itself was beautiful, and everything came together perfectly to create the day we had dreamed of. We have so many happy memories that we will treasure forever, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making them.

We would wholeheartedly recommend the venue to any couple looking for a beautiful setting and a team who genuinely care about making your wedding everything you hope it will be.

Lara made what should have been one of the most stressful times, the easiest process possible. She helped create the most perfect wedding day, was incredibly organised and ensured the flow of the day was absolutely flawless.

For someone who finds it difficult to delegate anything, Lara gave me all the confidence I needed, answered all of my 1000 questions and helped guide us, something we all hope we will only do once. She was flawless and Cantley House was the most gorgeous venue - so beautiful, conveniently located and the staff were super friendly. Thank you so much for being part in creating a lifetime of memories for us.

We got married at Cantley House Hotel in August 2026. Our wedding coordinator, Lara and the team were great throughout the planning process and on the day - it's clear they know what they are doing! The whole process was clear, smooth and stress free. Lara was very responsive when it came to answering all my questions (and I had a lot!).

All our guests were very impressed with the food, drinks, and comfortable stay.

We recently got married at Cantley and couldn’t have been happier with both the venue and all the staff, in particular Emma and Dianne. We had exclusive hire on a Thursday in August and the team made everything so easy from our first look around to the day itself. Our guests commented on how great the food was and we were also able to enjoy breakfast with them the next day. All of the rooms used for the ceremony, arrival and wedding breakfast/reception looked beautiful and the grounds (even with the drought) were lovely. The flowers in the courtyard were stunning. Thank you so much to all the team for making our big day so special. We’ll definitely be back for a meal soon too - we ate in the restaurant the night before and all seven of our party thoroughly enjoyed their food. 10/10 all round!

Emma our coordinator could not have done more for us from the moment of booking she was so responsive and answered all our questions. Her organisation let the day run so smoothly and our planning meetings prior to the wedding made us feel so much more at ease for the day.

We had the Friday Exclusive package which was amazing to hire the whole hotel. Guests said how beautiful the venue was and how attentive the staff were. We were so lucky and had an outdoor ceremony with the barn for the reception and it was the perfect day!

We got married here yesterday 08.08.2026. The day was perfect from start to finish! Helen and Dianne, amazing ladies that puts everyone at ease! Most beautiful location ever, so happy we chose Cantley and would choose it again in a heartbeat! Nothing was ever too much, all staff willing to do anything they can to help. Thank you to Cantley house hotel. My husband and I got married here June 2026. We had the best day ever.

Our day ran so smoothly with the thanks of Emma our wedding coordinator, who was amazing in the lead up to our special day. She was quick at responding to emails with any queries we had! The moment we booked Cantley house, the process was made so easy. We picked a package which allowed all of our near and dear ones to stay, so they too could enjoy our day to its full potential. Thank you so much once again for all the planning, preparation and love that was poured into our day. We will be coming back to visit in the near future whether it’s for a meal or a night away!

From start to finish the experience at Cantley House Hotel was brilliant. Lara, the sales and events manager, guided us through every step of the process and really helped us feel like everything was in hand in advance of the wedding.

Getting married outside on the lawn was incredible and everything was beautifully setup without us having to worry about a thing. We had a guitarist play (Mark Rose from Encore Musicians) during the ceremony and drinks reception and it really added to the atmosphere of the day!

The food was outstanding, whether it was the canapés, the wedding breakfast, or the pizza from the pizza oven in the evening, we couldn't fault any of it and our guests thoroughly agreed.

The barn was beautiful and the perfect location to host not only our meal but the Ceilidh (by Ceilidh Tree) afterwards. We had additional lighting from 'Not Just DJs' and flowers from 'Blooming Fabulous Flowers'. Our only comment would be that it can get very hot in there. But as it was 32 degrees celsius outside on our wedding day we can't imagine that's always an issue!

Having the beautiful grounds of Cantley Park surrounding the hotel was fantastic for our evening couple photos at golden hour. This was a lovely chance to slip away as bride and groom, knowing our guests were happily looked after at the hotel.

Something that can't be highlighted enough is the benefit of having a venue that has rooms on site. Having your closest friends and family stay to the end knowing they can just walk a few steps to bed is perfect and meant that everyone who wanted to could enjoy the day from start to finish. We had 20 rooms reserved for our wedding guests from the moment we booked and our guests were able to book these at a discount. Our suite for the wedding night was stunning.

Overall we would highly recommend Cantley House Hotel and Barn to anyone. If you happen to look at it on a map, don't let the location fool you. It's tucked away from any residential house and you would think you're in the middle of the countryside when you're actually at the venue. It's absolutely perfect.

It was an amazing wedding day thanks to our lovely wedding coordinator Lara. From start to finish the whole experience was easy and nothing was too hard for the staff to accommodate. Our guests had nothing but compliments on everything. Neither the groom or I had to worry about anything on the day, it went so smoothly like I knew it would due to the continued communication before the wedding and the fact that our coordinator understood all of our needs. One very happy bride and groom!
