We had our Wedding at Cantley House Hotel on the 21st August 2025 and if only we could turn back time and do it all over again EXACTLY the same. Zoe, our Wedding Coordinator was flawless in all she did for us. Nothing was too much trouble and it genuinely felt like one of our friends was working behind the scenes. Dianne was also impeccable in all she did for us. I can't wait to go back even if it's just for a drink and to reminisce of our incredible day. Seamless from start to finish!!

Cantley House Hotel, specifically Emma, made planning the wedding a dream from the initial meeting to the big day. Emma has always been on hand to answer all questions and put together our plan for the day.
Cantley House offer a range of packages to fit to your budget including micro wedding, exclusive hire, and midweek/Sunday. All additional charges are priced and agreed upon ahead of time.
We were able to set up the ceremony room the evening before and store boxes for the day in the hotel overnight. We were even able to store the cakes in the function fridge the night before. Emma was on hand to help in the morning as the groom and friends set up the briar room for the wedding breakfast. This ensured everyone had plenty of time to get ready before the ceremony.
Dianne and the team ensured the smooth running of the day and made the two of us feel relaxed and spoiled. As we exited the ceremony in the oak room she was waiting with a mug of mulled cider for us both and ensured a plate of canapés were behind the bar for us after photos.
Our room for the night and breakfast were included in the package. There was a whirlpool bath in our room which was perfect for relaxing in. Breakfast was in the stables restaurant with continental buffet and hot food options to order. It was exactly what was needed after a day of celebration.
I can’t recommend Cantley House enough from the support during the planning to the seamless execution of the day.

We had our wedding at Cantley in October 2025. The communication was brilliant in lead up to wedding. Emma and Diane from Cantley were brilliant and guided us throughout the day. Nothing was too much. Lovely to have the option of having the venue to ourselves and all of the rooms.

We were married in the Oak Room - absolutely stunning room. The Briar Barn for our wedding breakfast - again absolutely beautiful. Our bedroom suite was lovely, huge comfortable bed with a newly refurbished bathroom with a spa bathtub and a walk-in shower, beautiful grounds for your photos too!
The staff are exceptional, Emma our wedding organiser and Diane and the team on our wedding day were just fantastic, warm friendly smiles, they couldn't do more for us and made sure our day went smoothly. The wedding food was delicious - compliments to the chefs too!

The staff were super attentive, and they were always there when we needed them. Everyone was really friendly, and we had a few last minute changes that they were happy to honour for us. Lara was also amazing at answering all our questions leading up to the day.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we heard so many guests compliment it. They took great care of our things, and everything was left in one place for us to collect the following day. We booked the DJ through the venue too. And he was brilliant, took all the requests, and kept the floor alive. He also skipped any songs we didn’t like.

I would highly recommend Cantley for your wedding day. It has so many different parts of the venue to make the day feel together but not boring. e..g we were married in the Oak Room, had a reception out on the lawn, moved to the barn for the dinner, then drinks in the Drawing Room, a party in the reconfigured barn and finally breakfast in the morning in the Stables.

I am a bit of a nervous person, especially when it comes to logistics and was worried I would spend the day thinking about the little things, but the staff are so incredibly competent and caring that I didn't give anything a second thought once we began!

I'm so so happy and can't recommend them enough!

We had our wedding on Friday 26/09 at Cantley House and were not disappointed. We went with the exclusive package meaning we had full access to the venue and all rooms. This was so lovely knowing only our guests would be in the hotel. From first visit to the wedding Emma was so helpful and accommodating. The wedding day was beautiful and exactly what we wanted thanks to Emma, Diane and the team. All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and how perfect the day was.

We recently got married at Cantley House Hotel and we couldn't recommend them more. We fell in love with the venue, it was just what we were looking for. Plenty of options for sun or rain and plenty of rooms for our guests to stay.
Emma, our wedding organiser, was so incredibly helpful, from our first meeting to on the big day. Everything ran so smoothly, any hiccups were rectified and all queries handled well. We always felt like we were in good hands.

We had our wedding here in August 2025 and it was brilliant! Our ceremony was outdoors on the lawn using the bandstand which was beautiful and our wedding breakfast and evening do in the Briar Barn. We would definitely recommend getting married here! There is a dedicated events planner to help organise and there were several wedding packages to choose from. Guests could stay at the venue and the rooms were really nice. It is a lovely location next to a meadow and has a long tree lined drive both of which were ideal for photos. There is plenty of free parking onsite.

Lara did a wonderful job of organising the entire day, making us feel reassured and informed the whole time leading up to it. We were able to relax and enjoy the day without having to worry about a thing.

Diane was on hand throughout the day making sure everything ran smoothly and on time, and was so friendly and supportive throughout. The lady on reception did a great job managing our different playlists for the ceremony with impeccable timing, and was really helpful whenever we had any questions.

Everyone loved the food, the restaurant and bar staff were great and the DJ did a fantastic job as well, which made for a very lively evening reception.

The venue was perfect, just the right size for our number of guests - we chose the micro wedding package for 30 people during the day and invited the rest of our family and friends to the evening reception. The package was such good value for money and was perfect for accommodating our modest budget.

We will definitely be recommending Cantley House to all of our friends and family that are looking for wedding venues in Berkshire.

We had a fantastic wedding at Cantley House. We had visitors from abroad and they were all able to stay at the hotel the night before the wedding (as well as on the night of the wedding). This made arrangements so much easier. We also all shared a meal on the night before the wedding and breakfast on the morning after. We had some extra special requests regarding food and wine which Cantley handled without fuss. All went to plan and we were very impressed with both Zoe and Abi as well as the staff on duty in The Briar on the day. Our welcome drinks and canapés were served on the lawn which, together with the hotel, provided a traditional English setting for our overseas guests.

My wedding… something I did want to get right. I remember when I first saw Cantley House … I fell in love with the place straight away. A beautiful Victorian barn to celebrate my day. Emma was so accommodating, friendly and warm throughout the whole wedding planning process. I can’t thank her and her staff enough for looking after us and my family. Their wedding packages are affordable and they accommodate pretty much any request you have. The hotel rooms are incredible. Incredibly clean and very luxurious. Having picked the exclusive package, you have the entire place for yourself during the wedding. The menu is something we were worried about as it I was quite daring to serve fish in our wedding. However the chef spoke to us to adjust some of the dishes to what we really wanted and oh my god… the food was just incredible. Every guest congratulated us and they ate everything! Cantley also provided handmade pizzas made in the clay oven during the drinks and DJ and they were phenomenal. Emma and her team made my wedding day a day I want to remember and relive every day of my life. Thank you Cantley House for making my dream come true. I really did feel royal getting married there!

We recently got married at Cantley House Hotel and our day was absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a more intimate wedding and a beautiful venue this is the place to go! We went to one of Cantley's wedding open days where we met loads of great suppliers, some of who we then went on to use for our wedding day. All of our communication throughout the planning process was with Emma Julian and she was really helpful and always there to answer our many questions! The day itself ran really smoothly and we were really lucky to have the wonderful Dianne with us throughout the day and she did such a great job ensuring everything was going perfectly. Our wedding package included the use of 36 bedrooms all of which were fabulous! The food on our wedding day and breakfast the day next was also delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better day and we would like to thank all of the staff at Cantley House who were involved in making our day so special.

The lead up and the day itself was brilliant. We knew as soon as we saw the venue that it was the one for us, and we booked it the same day.

Our wedding day itself was perfect and everything ran seamlessly with Lara, Diane, Matt and the rest of the team making sure everything was taken care of. They told us they would spoil us, and that’s exactly what they did!

We can hand on heart say that nothing made us doubt the Cantley House team throughout the entire experience, they went above and beyond for us and we were absolutely thrilled with how it all went and so grateful for all they did. A very big thank you to them!

A dream from start to finish, lara patiently dealt with a thousand questions from me 🤣 answering everything possble and putting us in touch with suppliers and doing whatever she could for us. We actually supplied a lot of the decor ourselves and I decorated the beautiful barn myself the morning of the wedding I loved doing that with my bridesmaids. The receptionists were so helpful too. Nothing was ever too much, that wasnt just on the day it was the build up too any time we popped in, a friendly face welcome us and was always so helpful.

Everyone complimented the venue, the food was incredible. So many compliments all day. Lara and Diane made sure everything ran smoothly and was a breath of fresh air. The servers were all young but incredibly well mannered and made such an effort, I dont have their names but I did make a point of telling them and Lara.

We had a Saturday wedding, with weddings either side and the only downside was the morning after ours the next wedding was setting up which is completely understandable, its just something we didnt think about but it didnt take anything away from our day and I'm sure most venues work this way.

We chose the exclusive package which for us meant the whole venue bar the stables was ours, which was so nice and sealed the deal for us on a place wed already fell in love with.

Cantley is a stunning venue, with incredible staff and are all a credit to the team, clean, well presented and everything we were looking for and more, everyone dreams of their perfect day and Cantley for us excelled. Everyone complimented the bedrooms, not one single complaint.

There is so much more than meets the eye to cantley, we are so sad our day is over, but how lucky we were to have such an incredible day surrounded by all of our loved ones.
