Hello there! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the creative force behind Philippa Rose Cake Design! I'm Philippa, but please call me Pippa and my lovely Mum is Rose, hence Philippa Rose.

Growing up in beautiful East Anglia on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, I spent years as a Personal Assistant and Event Manager, running exciting beer and whisky tasting shows. My journey took a delightful turn when I met my husband Chris through my best friend, and after a whirlwind romance, we moved to Monifieth near Dundee, Scotland, where he’s from.

When our first child Olivia arrived, I turned my part-time wedding cake design passion into a full-time adventure, and now here I am! Our family grew with the addition of our son Harvey and our adorable black Labrador, Willow.

A few of my favourite things? Long beach walks right by our home, followed by a cosy evening with a glass (or two!) of wine by a warm fire. I love curling up with a good book and a cup of tea, or getting lost in a great film or box set - I'm always on the lookout for recommendations! I’m a Harry Potter fan, and those films are my go-to while I work. I also enjoy staying active because it makes me feel great once I've finished the workout! Whether it’s lounging by a sunny pool or hitting the slopes (on the easy runs, of course!), I love every moment.

Now, let’s talk wedding cakes! I specialise in crafting stunning high-end wedding cakes with sharp edges and flawless finishes. My true passion lies in creating lifelike sugar flowers, and I love the challenge of learning how to make a new flower. With a keen eye for detail, I’m dedicated to bringing your dream wedding cake to life - Olivia even says I’m the best cake Mum in the world, so she must be right!
