We can't thank the Cambo team enough for all your their work to make our wedding the amazing experience it was. From the initial tours, to the planning support, to the execution over the weekend, it all was excellent and we felt so lucky to have them guide us through it all. Guests were just as obsessed as Cambo as we were and we are grateful they even organised the weather to stay sunny!
We had the absolute best time and have only just started to recover! -

Destination Wedding at Cambo!
As soon as we decided we were doing a Scottish destination wedding, Cambo was on the list. After talking with Joanne and hearing about the flexibility we could have — we were looking for a mix of old country estate and more casual farmhouse style - we knew we had our place.
Booking a wedding venue site unseen is inherently nerve wrecking but when we went to visit, we were immediately put at ease. Joanne came prepared with questions and ideas for every potential vendor from band and caterer to a vintage car company to take us to and from the church.
As family and friends were traveling from all over we wanted to offer them a true multi day experience. Both our families were able to join us at Cambo for the whole weekend, and then we had breakfasts both days, a wedding reception for just over 110 (we got married at a church in St Andrews), and then a BBQ for 50+ on Sunday.
On the day of the wedding, Joanne went above and beyond to ensure everything went seamlessly. Our friends and family that had made the trip continue to talk about the food, the accommodations, and the wedding itself but they also talk about the small details — the different breakfast set ups each morning, the BBQ on Sunday and the surprise polar plunge. None of this would have been possible anywhere else and without Joanne, she truly made our wedding dreams become a reality!

We had the most amazing weekend to celebrate our wedding at Cambo! It is such a special place, the house has so much character and many formats (we used the upstairs rooms for DIY welcome drinks the night before the wedding, the coachyard for reception dinner, dancing and bbq the next day, and the magical Walled Garden for our ceremony). It was fab to have our family stay in the house and the wings/kitchens are v well equipped. Lauren, Joanne, Kay and team were very warm and professional, with plenty opportunities to check in on details and timelines ahead of the day as well as being very responsive and proactive on the day in supporting with logistics, queries and suppliers. They were also flexible to let us drop off food and kit ahead of our entry time, and were so kind to even drop off some hired props for us in Dundee after the weekend! A truly unforgettable weekend which our guests enjoyed as much as we did. Highly recommend. -

We could not have chosen a better venue. Not only is Cambo an absolutely beautiful setting for such a special event, but the team that work behind the scenes to ensure that couples achieve their dream day are spectacular. From the beginning of the process right through until completion, we worked closely with Joanne, who was simply brilliant. Not only was she a delight to engage with, but her experience and genuine care for our day meant that she continually thought of so many additional details, options and ways to make our wedding even better. As a result we were able to feel confident going into the day knowing that she was on-hand, in front of and behind the scenes working tirelessly to bring our vision to life. This meant that we were able to just enjoy it all and be present in it, which feels priceless. Our interactions with always Joanne felt transparent, supportive and enjoyable, and by the time we were leaving the venue on the Monday we were both gutted to be saying goodbye! Amid a wider experience of other suppliers letting us down and being problematic, Cambo really were stand-out in their brilliance. We could not recommend the venue or the team highly enough and will certainly be going back for holidays to reminisce about the best day of our lives and how they helped it happen. -

We recently had our wedding at Cambo Estate, and it was an experience beyond our wildest dreams. Despite the rain on our special day, Lauren and Joanne made a seamless pivot, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. They stayed calm, cool, and collected, managing everything behind the scenes so we could fully enjoy our day.
The curated list of preferred vendors they provided was exceptional. Each vendor worked meticulously to customize every little piece of our day to perfection. From the decor to the catering, everything was tailored to our vision.
One of the highlights of Cambo Estate is the option to rent out the venue for multiple days. This allowed us to spend more 1:1 time with our guests, making the experience even more special. We were able to fully enjoy both the ceremony and the reception with our partner, without feeling rushed.
As for the venue itself, Cambo Estate offers numerous well-decorated spaces and beautiful grounds that left us and our guests in awe. The Cambo Gardens Café is lovely, and the venue can comfortably house a large number of people, making it perfect for grand celebrations.
We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend Cambo Estate, along with the incredible planners Lauren and Joanne, to anyone looking to create a magical wedding day. -

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at Cambo and the incredible team, especially Joanne. From the very start, Joanne gave us such valuable advice over email and on our planning weekends (and wasn't intimidated at all by our 67-page briefing pack!). She’s an absolute superstar, and we truly wouldn’t have made it through the weekend without her! The whole team was so warm and friendly, making us feel right at home and even helping us all with our baggage and decorations when they really didn't have to. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and magical - despite the rain forcing us away from the garden and into an indoor ceremony, everything still felt extra special. The library was the perfect setting for the vibe of our day. Our entire stay was filled with so much fun, and it really felt like a wrench to leave as we were so at home by the end of the weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate - and our family has threatened that we should all go back every year on our anniversary! -

Simply the best
We remember our wedding so fondly, it almost hurts because we miss our time at Cambo that much! Organizing the event with Cambo’s staff could have been a nightmare since we were planning our wedding from a different country, but the amazing people at Cambo would never let that happen. They took incredible care of us and all our guests. They responded to all our questions, big and small, critical and silly, and in a very timely manner. Even with the time difference, we felt so informed and on top of things. Their staff have countless weddings and events under the belt, but they made us feel like more than just one of thousands of couples; they made us feel like we were as special to Cambo as Cambo was to us. They made us feel like family and we can’t wait to return one day and relive some of the best moments of our lives. We couldn’t be more grateful for the team at Cambo Estate. -

Our Wedding at Cambo
We would highly recommend having your wedding at Cambo Estate! The venue itself is stunning with lots of options depending on the weather. Cambo is located right next to an amazing beach which our guests also loved visiting on the day! Lauren, Joanne and the team were so helpful throughout and were able to immediately answer any of our queries.
We looked at quite a few venues but once we viewed Cambo we knew it was the one for us and this was definitely the correct decision - would highly recommend for future couples! -

The Most Magical Venue
Our wedding at Cambo House was absolutely magical! The venue was stunning, and the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to all our inquiries. We made the most of every part of the venue, and everything went perfectly. The icing on the cake was the glorious weather! -
