Our wedding at Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, the team made the whole experience feel calm, organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Every email or question we had was answered quickly—usually within the same day—which gave us so much reassurance throughout the planning process.

The venue itself is simply stunning. Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn are beautiful exactly as they are, even without flowers or decorations. The character and charm of the buildings speak for themselves. Inside, the Tithe Barn has such a warm, romantic atmosphere with its incredible beams and historic features, while outside the surrounding grounds are equally breathtaking. Every corner feels picturesque, and it made the perfect backdrop for our wedding photographs. From the gardens to the historic stone buildings, it truly felt magical.

On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly thanks to the wonderful staff. They handled everything so professionally and quietly in the background, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy every moment. The whole day felt calm and effortless, which is exactly what every couple hopes for.

What really made the experience special was the team. Every member of staff we interacted with was kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always happy to answer questions and offer guidance. Their warmth and professionalism made such a difference and helped make the entire day feel relaxed and joyful.

The accommodation around the venue was also fantastic and made the whole experience even more special. I stayed in the Mews Cottage the night before the wedding, which was perfect. It was cosy, clean, and such a lovely place to relax before the big day. One of the highlights was the separate cabin outside where we were able to get ready in the morning. It was such a wonderful space for hair, makeup, and spending those special moments with everyone before the ceremony.

Our guests stayed in the pods on the grounds, which were something a little different and a really fun experience. Everyone commented on how comfortable they were, and they loved staying somewhere so unique right by the venue.

My other half stayed just down the road at Shepherd’s Cottage, which is another beautiful place to stay. It has generous, spacious rooms and the drive down to it is absolutely stunning.

All of the accommodation is set within the most beautiful countryside, which really adds to the charm and peaceful atmosphere of the whole venue. It made the entire wedding experience feel like a special getaway for us and our guests.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more supportive team. Browsholme Hall and the Tithe Barn will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly stunning and welcoming wedding venue.

Browsholme was the venue of choice for us as soon as we visited. They were professional, dog friendly, but most of all flexible with the suppliers you can have which made us feel our wedding was a special day, and not a rinse and repeat you can often have in other venues. Rebecca, Gina, Eleanor and the team were SO helpful, and even with last minute changes were able to accommodate everything. They worked with Amore to decorate the venue, and it was everything we had hoped for and more!

We got married at Browsholme Hall & the Tithe Barn at the end of August and had the most amazing day that surpassed our expectations. From our first visit when we met Eleanor, we loved the venue and knew it was the one. Throughout the planning process Rebecca, Gina, Freyja and Nicola were so friendly and helped with all of our questions. On the day of the wedding we both felt so calm and confident knowing that everything was being looked after from the morning to the evening. The staff on the day all had smiles and couldn't of been nicer to us both and our guests which made a massive difference. They are a real credit to Browsholme and made us feel so special throughout the day. We would highly recommend Browsholme for anyone looking to get married!!!! And we can't wait to revisit the tea room and grounds 🙂

When looking for a wedding venue, my partner Tom and I were open to anywhere in England as our family and friends live all over the country, so I began scouring the web for venues that looked the best for us. We went to view two other venues before Browsholme which were great but just didn’t give us that wow factor we were looking for, then Tom couldn’t make the first trip to Browsholme so I enlisted my parents and sister to take his place.

The journey to Browsholme is just beautiful, you pass through the stunning Ribble Valley and the views are spectacular. On arrival, it looked like the perfect spot, it has a rustic barn, views for miles, its own private lake & lily pond, and the old house perfect for photo ops. It was when we stepped into the barn that we knew it was the one, we instantly started tearing up at the sight of it all laid out ready for the wedding that day, and I knew then that I would be getting married there. Tom didn’t take much persuading and fell in love with it as soon as we returned together with both sets of parents in tow, we were all bowled over.

The staff are an amazing bunch and great assets to the venue, they couldn’t be more accommodating and keep you in the loop throughout the process. The day ran so smoothly thanks to them, you would barely even know they were there because they’re so experienced and professional that it runs like a well oiled machine. The turn around from ceremony to dining room and then to dance floor is so impressive, I don’t know how they did it in the little time it took!

We got married on a Saturday and thankfully there was no Friday wedding booked so it meant we could have the accommodation both nights & set up for the ceremony on the Friday afternoon. The accommodation is incredible, we loved the pods and the cottages are so homely, it felt like a home from home for the weekend.

We truly had the best day ever, we felt surrounded by love in the most romantic place, and having 80 guests alongside us meant that it wasn’t too big or too small, it was the perfect intimate day we had imagined. Despite being disappointed in the run up to the day that the weather forecast meant our lily pod wedding would be called off, and a barn wedding in its place, the day couldn’t have gone better and the barn ceremony was perfect. The sun even came out in the evening which meant we could mingle in the courtyard over the tastiest wood fired pizzas we’ve ever had!

I can’t get over how incredible our wedding day was, we also had the recommended vendors; Nick English photography, and Flower Design Events (FD Events), and the mandatory food suppliers Twelve, all of whom were also faultless. All our guests raved about the meal for the rest of the day, and they’re still talking about it today. We have amazing memories of a beautiful day in the most stunning setting, some of the tastiest food we’ve ever had, & photos that we’ll cherish forever.

We fell in love with Browsholme as soon as we visited, it’s so beautiful. From the moment we booked the team were fantastic, they were always on hand to answer any questions we had and made the whole process so easy. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more! The team looked after us and it all ran so smoothly.

The venue were amazing from start to finish. They really couldn't do enough for us and I can't recommend them enough. Twelve were super flexible with whatever we wanted for food (more canapes, no starter and a dessert they didn't yet offer) and the staff were all true professionals with all small details taken care of. Absolutely perfect all day and I can't thank them enough.

Throughout the process from initial visit to last minute checks in the week leading up to our wedding, the Browsholme team were great.

We had a very small wedding, just 6 of us in total and the venue was really perfect for an intimate wedding. We also organised our wedding pretty quickly - booking the venue in November and married in early February- nothing was too much trouble.

The venue has several options for ceremony if you choose to have it there - including outdoors and indoors. We opted for the Tithe Barn (indoors) being a winters day, but with some really beautiful outside options you would be spoilt for choice for an outdoor wedding on a spring or summers day.

The staff, suppliers, care and attention we received was second to none and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone wanting a picturesque venue.

We would 100% recommend Browsholme, everyone who works there was so helpful whilst planning our wedding and then on the day they made sure everything ran seamlessly, we couldn’t have been happier! There is so much choice and flexibility for you to create the day exactly how you want it and the recommended suppliers list was a massive help. The most amazing and stunning venue we looked at. Everything about Browsholme is perfect - the location, the tithe barn, the lodges, the staff there is not a single thing I would change about Browsholme. We look at several other venues prior to booking Browsholme but as soon as we both walked in, we knew instantly this was the venue we wanted to say ‘I do’ in. The staff can do no more for you if they tried and always on hand if you needed anything - I wish I could reply the whole day over again but I would 100% recommend Browsholme to anyone - venue of dreams!!!

From visiting the venue for the first time we instantly fell in love and knew this was the place. The lead up to the wedding we knew we was in the perfect hands of Rebecca and her team, everyone was so accommodating and truly helped us plan and run the perfect day, we will be forever grateful for the hard work and effort that they all put in to ensure we had a wedding of a lifetime!!

We had an amazing ceremony by the Lily pond which was truly magical, the grounds are absolutely breathtaking, perfect for a summers day wedding!

We then had our wedding breakfast and party in Tithe Barn, which was perfect from start to finish. The food catered by Twelve was some of the best food we have ever eaten!! Followed by an evening of dancing under the twinkling fairy lights, while eating pizza that was homemade from the outdoor pizza oven ( we still have people to this day say how amazing the pizza was)

All our guests have said it was the most stunning wedding venue they have been too and had the most amazing day!

What an amazing venue! We knew this was the venue for us from the moment we saw it. Browsholme is beautiful, with the barn being everything and more you could wish for in a venue. All staff were amazing, from star to finish.
If you’re stuck on a venue to book, I would hugely recommend taking a look at Browsholme because you really won’t want to look any further.

Browsholme is an absolutely beautiful venue and every wedding there is unique. We had a stormy August wedding which changed our outdoor ceremony plans (we really wanted to use as much of this gorgeous venue as we could!) however the barn is the cosiest setting for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast, it was simply perfect.

The staff go above and beyond and are so friendly and smiley all day. They make sure everything pulls together and nothing is too much trouble. They are a brilliant team. Guests have not stopped commenting on the beauty of the venue and the efforts of the team. In the preparation, staff readily email responses to queries. All staff are so friendly and welcoming.

We had the most special wedding day at Browsholme Hall. It was everything we wanted and more, from our ceremony at the beautiful lily pond to the gorgeous barn for our wedding breakfast. The whole venue is immaculate.

The staff at Browsholme are amazing and helped to make our day run to a tee - Rebecca was fantastic through the process and answered our many questions in the build up to the wedding. We completely trusted the venue to make our vision come to life and they did it so beautifully.

There was no doubt that Browsholme was the place we wanted to get married from the moment we stepped onto the grounds.
We knew we wanted to get married in a barn, we had seen a couple of other venues prior to Browsholme all of which were missing something. Browsholme has it all! Not only is the barn and courtyard absolutely stunning, we were lucky enough that the weather allowed us to have our canapés and cocktails post ceremony outside the hall. Our guests couldn’t believe their eyes when they walked around the corner to see the hall and the variety of locations for our wedding pictures was amazing!

We can’t recommend Browsholme more, the team are so calm, accommodating and super organised which allowed our day to run seamlessly. They worked well with our suppliers and their catering partners twelve serve amazing dishes!
