At High Rocks, a wedding venue in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, each of our magnificent oak-beamed function suites is completely self-contained, with a fully stocked bar. Full of character with polished oak floors, fairy lights and a wealth of oak beams, each suite has its own characteristics to entertain your guests all in one place. The High Rocks National Monument is fully licensed for outdoor civil ceremonies, as are each of our function rooms, should you wish to hold yours indoors.

The High Rocks National Monument is a natural outcrop of sandstone rock formations, offering a stunning and unique backdrop for your Wedding Photos throughout the year. Set within this area, we have a tranquil and private ceremony green, available for exclusive use during your Wedding and drinks reception.

As standard, our weddings run until midnight, with options to extend that until 1 am or later by special arrangement. Starting from £55 per person, our wedding packages offer a wide range of menu options prepared and cooked by our own experienced chefs, and all include a welcome drink, wine with the meal, and a glass to toast with. Also included are the use of our tables, chairs, table linen and napkins, cutlery, crockery and glassware.

We have ample free on-site parking for your guests, or if they arrive by taxi, they can make use of our courtesy mini bus service to take them back to their Tunbridge Wells town centre hotel at the end of the night. A courtesy London cab-style taxi is also available for the happy couple to take them back to their local hotel or accommodation.

Pre-wedding review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our wedding at High Rocks is just around the corner, and before the big day I wanted to share how outstanding the service has been throughout the entire planning process. From our very first meeting in early 2023 right up to now, the team have been nothing short of exceptional.

The professionalism, organisation, and attention to detail have exceeded all expectations. Nothing has ever been too much trouble—whether it’s a big decision or a small question, they are always at the end of the phone, ready with reassurance and clear answers. Their “above and beyond” approach has made planning feel smooth and stress-free - I’ve enjoyed every second of the planning process and a lot of that is thanks to how much is sorted by the venue! The wedding packages include the venue, all food (breakfast and evening food), toastmaster services, cake cutting, table linen and cutlery etc, dj, drinks, exclusive use of high rocks area on the day for photos, minibus for guests to hotels, white taxi for bride and groom, and a complimentary meal before the wedding.

I have eaten twice at high rocks so far - once with my bridesmaids for lunch, and once for dinner with my fiancé for our complimentary meal. Both times I was blown away by the service and the food, we all felt extremely well taken care of and the food was delicious.

We cannot wait for our wedding day, and if the planning journey is anything to go by, we know it will be unforgettable. I’ll be posting a follow-up review after the wedding to share the full experience, but for now I can wholeheartedly say that High Rocks has made us feel completely supported and excited for our special day.

Amazing day and wonderful venue and staff!

We had our wedding here September 2025 and it was absolutely incredible. Although there was rain all morning which meant we were unable to get our family pictures at the rocks, we were able to come up with an alternative plan to use the garden space. The staff were wonderful from viewing right through to the day after, and we could not fault a thing. Everything was handled so well on the day and if there were any issues we were not aware and this was handled. Absolutely incredible day, wonderful food, and easy communication throughout from all. Nothing was ever too much, and we visited multiple times prior to the day to walk the rocks and have meals with family. All of our guests complimented the venue and how the day went so seamlessly. All of our suppliers were incredible and everything came together better than we could have imagined. Cannot say thank you to everyone enough and almost a little sad it's all over! Everything was perfect.

High Rocks - our dream wedding at the perfect venue!

We got married at High Rocks at the end of April this year and it could not have been a more beautiful day! From the beginning, Maggie and the team were extremely helpful and responsive to my many emails and questions. We held our ceremony and reception there and worked with the team to plan the perfect day and tie in some unique elements that we wanted. We had the opportunity to taste the food at our complimentary meal and were also allowed to visit several times to help us visualise and pull all of the elements of the wedding together. No matter what room you book, the whole venue is absolutely gorgeous. We had the Great Hall Barn which was extremely spacious and worked perfectly for our family and friends. The Rocks and outside area itself is so incredibly beautiful and we had the most scenic and peaceful couples shoot which grounded us given how busy and quick the day goes! All the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, funny and had high attention to detail. We’re very grateful to the gentleman who kept our day running to time (so sorry I can’t remember your name but you were fantastic and had a great sense of humour!) and Stuart for driving us to our hotel in the white wedding cab at the end of the night. Thank you DJ Keith - you had a tough crowd and managed to get them up dancing so thank you! I could go on and on about how incredible our day was but I am forever grateful we booked High Rocks for our wedding. It’ll forever be a special place to us and we can’t wait to come back to eat at the delicious restaurant again soon! 5 star venue and I will forever recommend.

First class wedding

this weekend. If I could give a higher review I would have done. This venue is exemplary. Not only is it stunningly beautiful but the service and staff are first class. Stuart and the We held our daughter's wedding here this weekend 3rd May 2025. The whole team including the toast master were highly professional and accommodating. The meal was first first class with an element of old fashioned service which is rarely seen now days. Most guest had travelled from Switzerland and if they didn't speak much English an excellent French speaking member of staff was there to assist. This venue and team showcased the very best of English hospitality to our guest. Thank you.

Autumn wedding!

High Rocks was the perfect venue. Having grown up in the area I knew the venue very well and was pretty set on getting married there. Luckily my now husband loved it too. The staff were so attentive from the moment we booked our viewing right the way through until after the wedding had finished. High Rocks is a beautiful venue which gives you access to both the gorgeous Rocks as well as the lovely venue spaces. As we have a lot of dietary requirements we were worried about meeting all our guests needs but the staff worked with us to create menus that worked for everyone and we've received great reviews from everybody about the food. The staff are true professionals and everything ran so smoothly leaving myself and my husband to just enjoy ourselves with our guests. I couldn't recommend them more.

Incredible day!

We booked to have our wedding at The High Rocks in October and our day was perfect! The staff ensured our day ran to time and smoothly which massively took the pressure off. We could just relax and enjoy our day! Thank you so much High Rocks for ensuring our day was perfect!

Really nice venue

We had our wedding at High Rocks back in August and loved our day so much. The outside landscape is just stunning and the inside has so much character we fell in love with it the first time we visit it. Everyone working there has been really kind and amazing with us anytime we visit and on our big day ! Maggie, her husband and her son are all so kind and nice and are doing a really good job with the venue. From the build up of our wedding to the end of our day and even after they have been here for us answering all our questions and making sure our day would go as planned. Really recommend High rocks if you are looking for a venue for your wedding.

Perfect Wedding Venue - an unforgettable beautiful day

The High Rocks is a perfect place to host your wedding (or other celebration!). The location itself is great, being only a short distance from Tunbridge Wells and having a beautiful backdrop in the form of the rocks themselves. The rocks make for beautiful pictures.

Giuseppe, Maggie, Stuart and the wider team were communicative and helpful throughout from when we booked right up until we were dropped off at our hotel at the end of the night, helping us navigate the various choices we had to make, and producing an amazing vegan menu. On the day, everything ran smoothly, with toastmaster Martin doing an excellent job of co-ordinating us and our guests.

When High Rocks say “smooth running of the day is our responsibility” it can be easy to underestimate what that means (we know we did!). But they really do take care of everything as it unfolds on the big day - making sure you as the couple and your guests can be completely relaxed and enjoy your event. For example, one of our suppliers was a little later than planned, High Rocks took complete care of that and seemed surprised that we were even worrying!

Some (minor) things to be aware of: they only allow two particular videographers to work at weddings on the site. We booked more than a year in advance but already only one of the two was available, so if you are keen to have videography, be careful to arrange things well in time, and also double check you’re happy with the available videographers. Similarly, they only allow the use of their own DJ.

It was a great experience which we will remember fondly forever, and we strongly recommend High Rocks as a venue! Thank you High Rocks!

Amazing day, Amazing Staff, Amazing Venue

We chose high rocks for the renewing of our wedding vows. Maggie Giuseppi and the team were amazing from initial meeting to the run up to the final day. Venue was superb, the ambiance created by the staff was great. The food was superbly presented and everybody was complimentary. Our ceremony and celebrations were slightly non standard but accommodated with aplomb.
I can’t speak high enough of High Rocks, they made our special day so memorable
