I knew from the first moment I spoke to Jeremy that he was going to be the right man for the job.

He was one of the few suppliers I booked very early on. I didn’t have long to plan the wedding, but there were a handful of things that were absolutely non-negotiable for me and that I booked early: the vicar, the church, the photographer, the venue, my oldest friend as Chief Bridesmaid… and the Toastmaster. It was an important role and worth every penny.

Jeremy and I only spoke on the phone for a short time before I booked him, but we were laughing almost immediately. I came off the call thinking, “Yep, that’s it. Job done.” I paid the deposit immediately and then barely spoke to him again until a few weeks before the wedding.

Jeremy is incredibly experienced. He’s not just experienced in weddings, dinners and other events; he’s experienced in life and in people. Whatever personalities or situations come his way, he handles them with warmth, humour and complete professionalism. He also happens to have a jolly good singing voice, which came in extremely handy! He even offered to produce song sheets for a singalong during the reception and worked with the guitarist we had hired to refine the choices, which was a wonderful thing to do when I was under stress towards the end.

One of the things that meant the most to me was that he listened to my son rehearse his Father of the Bride speech. Tom was always going to do brilliantly, but Jeremy took the time to encourage him and give him the opportunity to practise, and I really appreciated that kindness.

On the day itself, Jeremy was everywhere you wanted him to be, without ever feeling intrusive. He welcomed guests at the church, announced everyone as they arrived at the reception, kept the day flowing at exactly the right pace, and quietly prompted me with things that needed to happen when I was, quite understandably, focused on everything else. Having someone keeping an eye on the bigger picture meant I could simply enjoy the day.

We hired Jeremy for our wedding For the Saturday, the 4th of October just gone and it was the best decision we ever made. Jeremy was so patient, understanding, vocal and overall made us feel less pressured and overwhelmed. Jeremy went above and beyond for our wedding even helping guests with their food, I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone who may need a Toastmaster. He is very flexible with payments and we are so glad we chose him to help us on our day thank you again Jeremy you are amazing! In every correspondence we had with him, Toastmaster Jeremy has always referred to himself as "Your Toastmaster", and there's nothing more true than this! From the first phone call, he was attentive and during the meeting we had a few weeks before the wedding, he made amazing suggestions to incorporate my culture into his speeches. During the day, he entertained the guests, kept the timings and made all the announcements. He read the room so well, and even asked us if we wanted to change some timings to make the most of the sunny weather. Everyone loved him and all the guests commented on how fantastic he was. Jeremy made our day run smoothly and organised our guests with wit and professionalism, a superb toastmaster who kept the day on schedule, his expertise at his craft was brilliant and we couldn't have done it without you. We have been to a few weddings without a toastmaster and although each of them amazing in their own way, we knew when we were planning our big day, with 150+ guests, ensuring everything flowed as it should and people were where they needed to be, at the right time, a toastmaster was imperative! Jeremy bought an air of calm to our daughter’s wedding that we couldn’t be more grateful for. Hosting the wedding at our home I was always concerned the day would run away with us. Jeremy effortlessly kept the proceedings running smoothly and bought ideas and suggestions along which we hadn’t thought of.
