Frequently Asked Questions:
When do I need to start thinking about my wedding invitations?
Most couples like to send their invitations out three to six months before the wedding date, with this in mind, it's good to start thinking about your invitations early. If you were to order from our Ready to Go ranges, our turnaround time is 3-5 weeks and it's 4-6 weeks from our Designed for you service. But don't worry if you have left everything a bit late we now offer a rush service too. You'll probably want to order samples and have a look around before ordering so we'd recommend you start thinking about your invitations at least 6 months before the wedding date. If you're sending out Save the Dates, these are usually done 6-12 months in advance.
Is there a required minimum order?
Yes, 50.Due to set-up costs and the time that letterpress printing takes, the minimum order is 50 copies of any single item.
How much is postage and packaging for orders?

What kind of printing do you offer?
We offer letterpress printing, which is a technique of relief printing using a printing press. The plate produces a deep impression on the heavy weight paper, giving it a lovely textured feel and luxurious quality.
Monday to Friday, 10-6pm
Can you print in any language?
Yes.Though we will need editable files (i.e. word) and pdf copy of the text so that we can ensure we don't loose any accents or usually letters.
Will they look handmade?
Letterpress printing is a traditional printing process. We use a hand-fed and treadle-powered press for printing and as such variations within the job are to be expected. While we endeavour to minimise these variations, we cannot guarantee that each print will be identical. These small variations mark the handmade process and show the unique nature of each print.
Are different colour options available for cards and envelopes?
Yes.We have a selection of different card choices and colours that we can use for most of the designs. Please contact us to see our Colour Charts.
I only need an Invitation not the whole set is that ok?
Yes.All items of our wedding stationery sets are priced and sold separately so that you can pick and choose the bits you need.
Can I mix and match designs?
Yes.That is not a problem at all, but let us know before you order so that we can advise you on options & costs.
Are different ink colours available?
Yes.Please see our colour chart for standard options. If none of our options matches your theme do let us know we can mix a bespoke colour for you for an additional charge of £30.Please be aware that colours appear different on screen and with digital prints to how they are printed with letterpress. If this is a concern, do talk to us first about it. As our ink colours are hand-mixed, variations will occur between different print runs.
Are different paper thicknesses available?
Yes.We do seriously consider our paper weight for each design and the majority are printed on super-thick 700gsm stock, as this is the best for letterpress invitations. However, if you would like to know about different options, just get in touch.
Can I get samples?
Yes.We recommend you buy samples before ordering so you can see and feel the quality. We do charge a handling, postage & packaging fee for each of our samples.

'Beautifully printed with a superb finish'
I can not express enough how delighted we were with all the stationary, that we acquired through Wolf and Ink. Beautifully printed with a superb finish and elegantly packaged. Julia and her team are extremely professional, and the service was second to none. Julia offered some great advice and both guided and reassured us throughout the process.Sent on 04/12/2018
'Julia was absolutely wonderful to work with'
Julia was absolutely wonderful to work with, and we loved our wedding invitations, with many complements received from our guests. She was super accommodating with any requests and most of all, could not have been more kind and helpful when we suddenly realised we needed a quick re-print job because I had made a mistake on the final proof, yikes! Thankfully, Julia managed a very speedy turn around and managed to keep a very embarrassed and anxious couple as calm as possible. We would absolutely recommend Wolf & Ink to anyone looking for a beautiful product and lovely service. Many thanks again Julia!Sent on 04/12/2018
'The quality of the designs were excellent'
Wolf & Ink designed two sets of invites for each side of our transatlantic wedding, and we were delighted with them individually and as a set. The quality of the designs and stationery were excellent, and we were so pleased to have invites that perfectly aligned with the look and feel of our events. Thank you!Sent on 04/12/2018
