1. The Story Of Your Wedding

Wedding Sketcher allows guests to see the sketches being added to the display as they are being made. Each sketch is hand-drawn on archival-quality watercolour paper with artist-quality watercolours. After the wedding, the final collection can be delivered in a personalised hand-bound album or as separate sentimental masterpieces. While a high-resolution digital version is included in the price, it is also possible to order prints of any of the sketches. Jana is available to travel to more distant locations up to two and a half hours.

The beauty of the sketches (or you could call them illustrations) lies in the fact that they capture moments as they happened – no staged poses. If you’re looking for something different to remember your wedding day, then an illustrated sketch album might just be what you’re after!

2. GUEST SKETCHES

After getting so many requests Jana now also offers guest portraits, that can be given as favours on the day. These sketches are a portrait type, face focused drawings, so a bit different from the story of the day sketching style. They can be full colour or just a line drawing. They can be drawn digitally and sent to your guests mobiles or email when finished. It takes about 3 - 12 minutes per face, depending on the style of the drawing.

As a new services Jana also offer guest portraits in style inspired by Sir Quentin Blake. These can also be offered as digital portraits and sent to your guests mobiles or emails when done, which has many advantages. Prints can also be done afterwards. How many sketches do you get?

It depends on how long you book Jana for.
For the story of the day sketching you will get about 25 sketches per 6 hour package, which is the most popular option. Some of these will be created live and some later, for the moments that happen too fast.
For the guest sketches this will be a bit different, all will be done on the day and the number will vary depending on the style of the drawing and how long Jana is booked for.

Other options

Jana can also create an oil painting from your wedding photo. Her way of painting is combining the traditional with contemporary, to really bring the painting to life. She usually works in a loose and spontaneous style, yet keeping some areas well defined – a winning combination that doesn’t just replicate the photo you already have.
