Wedding Planners in Southampton

We were lucky enough to bump into Nicola and learn about Behind the Scenes Events at a vintage wedding fayre. We needed someone to help do the set up on the day and help us source items to help decorate the room. I have to admit that prior to this I thought that having a wedding planner was a bit self indulgent, but was surprised to find that not only did it save time and stress to have someone helping you that already has tonnes more information at their fingertips than you, Nicola was able to negotiate with suppliers to pass on discounts to us. She also recommended several people to us - including our photographer - who was amazing! All her recommendations were spot on. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend BTSE to others. They helped our wedding run smoothly and I could relax and enjoy my day without worrying about the set up. In fact a lot of the decisions towards the end I just left to Nicola as I completely trusted her judgement - her experience of helping couples create their perfect day was obvious from the first meeting we had. We are really sad that our day is over now, and part of that is because we won't be working with Nicola any more - she's a star!

What can I say. Ruth was there from the moment we started planning our wedding. Asked for advice with what to do with quite a few things. She made everything so much easier. On the day, she was just seamless. So professional in every single way. Nothing was too much trouble, even if I probably asked some silly questions. She’s incredible.

When I asked Sian if she would be able to do on the day co-ordination she advised that my event didn't need it - instead what I was offered was a 1-1 consultation for a fixed fee a few weeks beforehand to go over everything. It was brilliant, I am super organised and I found that being able to run my ideas and bounce them off a wedding industry professional really helped to alleviate my wedding anxiety especially that ever present anxiety that I missed something. The fact she wanted to give me what I genuinely needed ( I had no idea because I have never done this before) rather than what I asked for is testament to the high standards she upholds. It was fantastic and I would recommend her.

Thoroughly recommend Cappuccino Rose Events to help co-ordinate your wedding. Abbie was extremely professional and friendly to us and our guests. She ensured our wedding day ran smoothly. We had some unique touches for our reception and she was able to make these happen. She helped organise the vendors in the run up to the wedding which meant we could focus on the little things. We felt so relaxed and calm on our day and this was due to Abbie organising everything we had discussed for us. Thank you so much again Abbie!!

Ruth was so helpful at every single stage of our process. From initial recommendations of vendors, answering any questions we had, on the day, and even after the wedding when we've been trying to resolve some things. Absolutely nothing we asked felt like a silly question or too much bother - and this is keeping in mind we only hired Ruth for on the day co-ordination services rather than planning services. Whether it was on the morning of the wedding going to get safety pins when there were issues with our dress, or during the day making sure we were doing ok and keeping hydrated! We could not recommend Ruth enough - absolutely wonderful to work with every step of the way and we're so appreciative of all she's done to support our day.

We really won the lottery with Stacey and her team! When we started planning, we didn't know of Stacey, but once we booked The Barn at Avington, which is the dream venue btw, we were told we got Stacey and her team, as our coordinators on the day! The lead up to the wedding Stacey was amazing, made us feel sooo comfortable and excited!! I'm a huge control freak and I was so worried about having to let go of things and have the team take over, but with Stacey and the SP Team, I knew we were in safe hands. The service before during and the pack down of the wedding was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better team to run our wedding day, help the guests and suppliers out, plus having a little boogy with at the end of the night. Oh, I just want to do it all over again! Thank you so much to Stacey and the wonderful team of ladies that helped on the day. We love you!! Love the Murphy's
