Every element of our wedding was planned to perfection, and on the wedding day she was orchestrating from the front and behind the scenes, any problem that arose she solved. We felt incredibly lucky to have her as our wedding planner.

Hi, this review is for our AMAZING wedding planner Penny at Penelope Weddings. Our wedding just passed earlier this month in June so a big sigh of relief as I'm writing this. First, I would like to mention that I live in the United States and trying to plan a wedding overseas was nearly impossible. In the US, we find our vendors by using mainly Yelp searches and in most parts of the world, Yelp is not a feasible option. I was able to find a couple vendors on my own just by searching and joining random groups on FB, but due to the time zone difference and other obstacles, it was challenging to say the least. The DJ we hired recommended using a wedding planner and up until that point I hadn't really thought that was an option for us. She gave me 3 referrals and we actually did a zoom call with another wedding planning company prior to talking to Penny. They were asking for an unreasonable amount of money and more importantly we didn't connect as they seemed cold and it was all a very transactional conversation. Then our next meeting was with Penny and from the beginning she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She made it very clear from the beginning of her involvement and guidance. From the beginning to end, Penny literally held my hand and walked us through everything. She made suggestions and recommendations that we would never had thought of and we truly appreciate everything that she has done for us. At the end of the wedding, I've asked for Penny's help to mail by bouquet to an Etsy vendor to dry my flowers and preserve them because we had to fly to Lisbon the next day after the wedding! If you can afford to and you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, please just reach out to Penny. I promise that you won't regret it!

Penny came in to support us in the lead up and running of the day and we honestly could not have done it without her. The tiny details that people guests suppliers naturally come to you (bride or groom) with which stress you out Penny took care of taking initiative and making me feel calm! Thank you again.
