Wedding Photography With the Romance, Elegance and Captivating 60's Colour Film Look and Feel

When I started photography in the 80's it was still film. I always used the older types of film like Fuji 400h or Kodak Portra. I just loved the "look" they had - soft colours, lower contrast and beautiful character. I still love this!

Which is why I have spent years perfecting this "look". I use cameras that value image quality over features, I use lenses that give photos with character rather than crazy sharpness, I edit photos in Lightroom in a way to accentuate the softer tones and less harsh colours of the old film photos.

In short I give my couples photos that are timeless and romantic and full of character.

My approach on the day goes beyond traditional wedding photography. I blend in with you and your guests and discreetly wait for moments and a story to tell. I ensure I'm in the right place at the right time to get the best photos throughout the whole day and I only use prime lenses as their image quality is better than zooms so quietly move arround getting shots.

We'll spend a few minutes getting some "created" rather than posed photos of you as a couple as after all this is the day you're both looking your absolute best.
