We honestly couldn’t recommend Sally highly enough. We found her through Instagram and, from our very first enquiry, we knew we had found someone special. Sally offered us a video call to talk through our vision for the day, get to know us as a couple and, importantly, allow us to get to know her too. That personal approach made such a difference and gave us complete confidence in booking her for our wedding.

In the lead-up to the wedding, Sally sent us a detailed questionnaire which was incredibly helpful in making sure we were all on the same page with timings, important moments and the photographs we wanted captured. As we were getting married in Bath city centre, I had also shared some inspiration with Sally of photographs I loved and particular areas of Bath that I wanted to feature as backdrops. Sally listened to everything we discussed and delivered far beyond our expectations.

On the morning of our wedding, Sally arrived warm, friendly and completely calm, which was exactly what we needed. She was so much more than a photographer. She quietly helped guide the day when needed, made sure all the little detail shots were taken care of and even helped my mum with what to do with our wedding bouquets! She went above and beyond her role in so many ways, and it was clear throughout the day how much care she had for making everything run smoothly.

Sally struck the perfect balance between giving us plenty of time for group photographs while also allowing us to spend time mingling with our guests. We never felt rushed or as though we were constantly being pulled away from our wedding to have our photographs taken.

One of the things we appreciated most was the way Sally approached posing. She was incredibly gentle and unpressurising, making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She would suggest poses and ideas but always reassured us that we only had to do what felt comfortable for us. As two people who aren’t particularly used to having our photos taken, this made such a huge difference.

Sally also has the most wonderful “fly on the wall” approach. She captured so many genuine, spontaneous moments that we didn’t even realise were happening on the day. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving our wedding all over again — from the big emotional moments to the tiny details and candid interactions with our family and friends.

We also absolutely love Sally’s editing style. The colours are so natural and true to life, which was really important to us. The exact shade of pink in our roses, the blush tone of my dress and even the colour of my husband’s suit have all been captured so beautifully and accurately. Nothing feels overly edited or artificial; everything looks exactly as we remember it, just even more beautiful.

Another lovely touch was how quickly Sally sent through our sneak peeks. The next day Sally sent us a selection of beautiful photographs from our wedding. We were able to relive some of our favourite moments almost immediately and share them with our family and friends while the excitement of the day was still fresh. It was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much care Sally puts into the whole experience, not just the photography itself.

Sally captured our day so perfectly, and we will treasure these photographs for the rest of our lives. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her there with us, not just as our photographer but as such a calm, kind and reassuring presence throughout the day.

We will continue to recommend Sally to anyone looking for a wedding photographer for a very long time to come. She is truly exceptional at what she does, and we couldn’t be happier with our photographs and the experience we had with her.
