Situated in Malton, North Yorkshire, Photography By JC has been photographing weddings since 2006, the exact number lost to time, but it is in the hundreds. After taking time away to raise a family, he’s back doing something he loves almost as much as his children - shooting your wedding.

Working with JC feels unhurried. He’s not directing poses or chasing shot lists; he watches, he waits, and he’s there when it matters, finding the unscripted moments that tell the story before they disappear. Couples often say they forget he was in the room.

He delivers a deliberately edited set of images, not hundreds of near-identical files. The edit is where the story unfolds, what remains is the day, how it actually felt, the images that mean something now and in the future. Every image is worthy of hanging on the wall.

JC takes on a limited number of weddings each year; that’s a creative choice, not a sales hook.
