Fantastic Wedding Venue

Perfect venue for a perfect day

Allington Manor is a gorgeous venue, and the staff are incredibly attentive and supportive throughout the process and on the big day itself.
Having booked the venue during a lockdown, it was several months before we were able to see it in person - however it did not disappoint. This hotel has oodles of charm and as it's family-ran, it comes with that cosy feeling too.
Leo from day one was a big support, and as we chose a package we knew that he would have on hand the best suppliers that he works with (It also helped that his lovely wife Amy does make-up too). He also has a wonderful team on hand to help him with events, including the star that is Lesley.
As soon as we arrived the day before, Lesley was there for any questions we had, and anything we wanted to go through. Our big day was fantastic and ran seamlessly. We knew that Lesley was there behind the scenes to guide us through, and also to sort anything out that was needed (including when a meat dish was put down in front of the vegetarian, Lesley was immediately there to magically swap it out for the veggie option).
We can't say thank you enough to these guys, for helping us with our special day x

A venue full of history & charm

With covid restrictions I was looking for a small venue in notts but chanced on Allington Manor just on border into Lincs. It’s a venue with a lot of charm and history. Allington village is also very quaint in the middle of gorgeous countryside. Leo (owner) is very personable and down to earth. He was very adaptable to our needs and professional throughout. Excellent service was provided throughout the day & Lesley (hostess) brought our canapés into the garden due to us being graced with gorgeous autumnal sun & ran the wedding breakfast service seamlessly. Leo spent lots of time chatting with us post the meal. The venue is his childhood home so he told us lots of history & stories about the venue. Absolutely loved all the Jacobean details especially his high chairs! The venue is perfect for a low key, intimate wedding. All the bedrooms were gorgeous and full of character. The whole venue is very clean & tidy. Can’t wait to see the professional photos which will have captured the day & characterful venue. Would definitely recommend Leo & the venue.

Amazing wedding venue

We are so pleased we picked Allington Manor for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. Leo and the team were so kind and helpful, always trying to make it a smooth process and answering any questions we had. The manor was beautiful and the newly renovated gardens were perfect. We used the recommended chef Damien and the food was amazing, he even catered for all our families allergens and dietary requirements. We would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Christmas wedding

100% recommend. The Manor House is absolutely beautiful, Leo an his team ensured the day went perfect. The food was delicious an definitely a hit with our guests. Allington definitely gives plenty of opportunity to get some great wedding photographs.

Fantastic venue

Warm, welcoming and friendly. A fantastic venue full of character. Nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The gardens are very picturesque with a lovely view of the countryside. Whether you want a larger wedding, or a more intimate wedding I really couldn’t recommend Allington manor highly enough. We will be returning again for a weekend away in the future.

The most perfect day!

We decided to choose Allington as our wedding venue as wanted the full day in one location and also wanted a small, intimate wedding that we could have both indoors and outdoors.
Allington is a stunning location, which is so well maintained by Leo and his team. He made sure that the day was exactly what we wanted, flowed perfectly and no stress.
The day from start to finish went perfectly, even the weather was on our side and so the beginning of our evening reception was moved outside to the gardens which was a wonderful idea. We were even able to have our family dogs attend our outdoor ceremony which was just the icing on the cake!
Allington Manor can also cater for larger weddings too with a marquee extension which is great as an additional option. They provided us with local suggested suppliers to also work with for catering, flowers, cake etc which was great however didn’t make us feel pressured to use these.
My bridal party/family stayed at the manor with the rooms available which are absolutely stunning and so welcoming.
We would highly recommend Allington as a wedding venue, many of our guests said how the day was perfectly intimate yet didn’t feel cramped and overcrowded and that the service was exceptional. In fact, one newly engaged couple went and booked it as their venue following our wedding day!

Wedding reception

We couldn't ask for better venue for our wedding reception. Wonderful place with beautiful grounds and staff that goes above and beyond.
Our evening food supplier (Burger van not connected to Allington Manor) cancelled few hours before the food supposed to be served but Leo saved the day by offering to drive to one of the local takeaways and serving it on boards. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have any evening food. We had an amazing time and would wholeheartedly recommend Allington Manor.

Perfect all round

My husband and i can't recommend Allington Manor high enough. We had the most perfect wedding day. The setting was stunning, attention to detail was spot on and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Lesley you were just brilliant!

Truly amazing !!!

We have just had our wedding reception at the manor and I can honestly say we were amazed how lovely the whole experience was. Leo and Amy are the perfect hosts , nothing too much trouble :) our wedding breakfast was beautiful, all of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and we totally agree. We hired all the bedrooms for the evening which are out of this world.. Love everyone of them! The house was ours for the day to have photos taken in the beautiful grounds and settings, our wedding was magical and I feel so lucky to have been able to have it here., thank you very much Leo and Amy for making our day extra special . Take everything you dream your wedding day will be

During the 18 months of planning Leo (the owner) was on hand with any advice and information we needed (and believe me, we needed a lot of advice!). The manor itself was even better as a venue than we could have hoped, especially as we booked it for exclusive use from the Friday to Sunday. This meant we could invite guests over on the Friday evening where Leo helped us to arrange take away and also had the bar open so the wedding became more than just a day which was exactly what we wanted.

The wedding day itself was even better than we could have hoped. Everything ran smoothly thanks to Leo, Amy and the team. Service was faultless and we could just relax and enjoy the day knowing that everything was in safe hands.

We could carry on writing this forever, but all we need to say is our day was absolutely perfect and we wouldn't change a thing. A massive part of this was down to the atmosphere of the manor and Leo, Amy and the team - they were faultless. It was the little things that made a difference, like someone going up to our room on our wedding night and lighting all the candles in the room which was a perfect end to the perfect day.

It goes without saying that we can't thank Leo and everyone else at the manor enough, it was a day we will never forget and judging by the feedback we've had from our guests - neither will they!

Our wedding at Allington manor

We have just arrived home after our mid week wedding at Allington manor. We arrived at the hotel the day prior to the wedding day and Leo was very accommodating lighting the fires and setting the TV up for the gents to sit and watch footy and have a good drink the night before. We had a very satisfying meal at the welby arms across the way which is literally 2 minutes walk from Allington. On the day of the wedding all gathered downstairs for brekkie but leo allowed us to have fruit and toast in the bridal suite which was just perfect. All our guests stayed in the Allington and everyone was delighted with the character and cleanliness of the rooms and the traditional breakfast which was made with great produce! The food at the wedding breakfast was second to none and extremely reasonable portion sizes. ( I had the lamb it was stunning!) we later then had cheese and biscuits and Leo cut the wedding cake for our guests. There wasn't any point in our 2 night stay that I would change anything. Leo and his team went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect and it was exactly that!! If you are looking to book get booking it really is a true gem. We have already booked our next stay at Christmas and I can't wait!!! This venue offers a truly unique experience at a fraction of what some big wedding venues charge and I can promise you won't get service like this..thanks again Leo.

Wedding reception

Just like to say if your thinking of getting married and are looking for a reception then look no furthur than Allington Manor.We had our reception there on the 16th july.From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Lovely warm welcome.All the staff were very friendly and Leo (the owner) made sure our day and evening ran smoothly.All of our guests were very happy and we had some saying it was the best wedding theyve ever been to!
We were so pleased that we chose Allington Manor it made our day and night so very special!!
