We found Lauren through Hitched after searching many many photographers. We only wanted someone for a few hours, a few styled but mainly causal shots. We didn’t want an overly formal or excessive posing, just some nice ones of us and then our wedding party. Lauren called me to discuss exactly what I wanted and the photos arrived in our mini gallery super speedy and the full gallery well within the 8weeks estimated (we did get married “offseason” though). I couldn’t recommend Lauren enough, professional, friendly, excellent photographer and highly recommend!

It didn’t take us long to choose our wedding photographer - Lauren’s portfolio and digital presence stood out and having read some of the other reviews, we were positive that we wanted her to contribute to the memories of our big day.

A consultation call and meet up at our venue months before the big day enabled us to get to know Lauren a bit more - she’s an awesome individual with a great gift to listen, take onboard a brief and capture both candid and staged shots.

Lauren was also extremely flexible. We asked if we could split the day rate up to use some of the hours on a separate occasion - Lauren was more than happy to do this and organised a location for us to have some shots on our own as a couple before the big day.

Our wedding day was 200+ people, so quite a significant amount to handle for some photographers who are used to small scale gigs. Lauren wasn’t phased by this and was cool, calm and collected on the day, making sure we stuck to timings and captured as many of our guests as possible as requested.

Just three days after the event, Lauren turned around around a selection of photos to keep us going while we waited for the final batch. This was a real treat while we suffered from post-wedding blues.

We’d highly recommend Lauren - she’ll look after you and not charge you an arm and leg like most other photographers on Hitched etc. Not to mention, her work is awesome.
