Your Guide to Wedding Cakes in Leicestershire

Leicestershire is a beautiful county in the East Midlands. Home to charming towns and suburbs, stunning natural beauty, and a bustling cultural scene, it is a popular place for couples to host their weddings. If you're planning a wedding in Leicestershire and looking for the perfect bakery to create your custom cake, you're in luck. Many outstanding bakeries in this area will work hard to make sure your cake is everything you've ever dreamed of.

Pick Your Perfect Cake

Your wedding cake will likely be the most important dessert you'll ever eat, so it is essential to ensure that your cake tastes as good as it looks. Many bakeries offer cake tastings to allow you to try some of their most popular flavours. This is a great option to ensure you love the taste of your cake. Next, you should decide the wedding cake style you prefer. Would you like a classic, three-tier white cake or something unique? Work with your baker to create a design that you and your partner love.

Cost of Wedding Cakes in Leicestershire

The cost of your wedding cake will depend on the size, style, and the bakery you choose, but you can expect to pay between £450 to £750 for your custom cake. Most bakeries will include consultations, design, delivery and set-up in this fee.

We booked Charlotte for our wedding to make us our cake and two honeymoon cakes along with a selection of desserts. The food is incredible, everything tasted beautiful and we had so many compliments about what we had. The cakes were so moist and the honeymoon cakes tasted just as good after a week. The gluten free options we had were so good nobody knew they were actually gluten free. The prices are really good for the quality you get and we will be using her again for other occasions! You will not regret booking Charlotte for your occasion.

Every time I look at my wedding cake, it still makes me smile I’m so glad I chose her to create it. I came with ideas from nearly 10 different cake designs and even sketched out my vision. She was incredibly patient throughout the entire process, never once complaining, and she worked with me to refine the design, creating multiple sketches until we landed on the perfect final look. Not only did the cake look amazing, but it tasted incredible too. I had three flavours vanilla, red velvet, and chocolate and each one was delicious. She truly brought my vision to life. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to her customers really stood out. She responded promptly to all my messages and made sure I was completely happy every step of the way. On my wedding day, so many guests kept asking who made the cake that’s when I knew I had made the right choice. I’ve since gone back to her for a birthday cake, and she absolutely nailed that as well. Her work is consistently high quality, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Taste, price, service, and delivery 100% across the board.

Our wedding cake looked amazing and tasted absolutely delicious. We had a three tier cake, salted caramel, chocolate Guinness and Victoria sponge, all coated with white chocolate. In addition we had red velvet cakesicles for our wedding favours and a to die for dessert table. Lucy was honestly amazing, we ordered a tasting box from Lucy around 6months before the wedding to help us decide on our flavours and these all tasted delicious. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lucy Claire Bakes to anyone. The cakes were perfect!
