I called to book an appointment and found the staff to be helpful and polite. On the day of my appointment, Jen, my consultant was wonderful. She took the time to understand what I was looking for. She was attentive and made me feel special (even if I am completely body conscious). She helped me find THE ONE, which was only in fact dress number 2. Since finding my dress the staff have been on hand to help with alterations. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bridal shop. Thank you so much for making my day extra special and making me feel like a queen for the day xx

From the first appointment to the last, Donna and the team are fantastic. They don’t rush or pressure and have a way of listening to brides and reading their faces - sometimes even more than your nearest and dearest can in the chaos of wedding planning. The shop and fittings for me at times were beautiful moments of calm that felt like spending time with genuine friends. The process of choosing a gown was so much fun and perfectly relaxed and the fittings after were exactly what I needed between wedding planning to ground me and bring me back to soaking in those all important moments. I tried several other shops and no experience compared to the service here. If you find the one at Alice Rose, you won’t regret it.

I had the most wonderful experience at Dress Me Pretty and found my dream wedding dress! The bridal shop is beautiful, classy, and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. The dresses are stunning and offer fantastic value for money without compromising on quality. Finding my dress was such a special moment, and the team made the whole experience unforgettable. Mel was amazing. You get the whole shop to yourself and I tried on lots of different styles and found the most beautiful sparkly dress. It made me feel so comfortable and provided lots of different options and choices. Thank you so much for helping me find my perfect wedding dress!

Rhiannon, Bethan and Hanna at Courtyard Bridal are honestly the most wonderful group of women and run an incredible bridal shop. From the very first visit I felt at ease and comfortable trying on dresses, supported by decades of knowledge of fabrics, styles and shades of white (who even knew such a thing existed!). My dress fitted me absolutely perfectly and was so so beautiful - Hanna went out of her way to make me a bow out of the excess material which was the perfect touch for the evening. Honestly cannot recommend them enough!

Hannah was fantastic. She made the whole experience of finding my wedding dress wonderful. I found my dream dress on my first appointment and collected it once it arrived from the stockist. Hannah is so friendly and makes you feel absolutely comfortable throughout your appointment. Her communication is great and she gave me the details of a lovely seamstress for alterations. I felt confident, reassured and in the best hands with Hannah and I'd highly recommend her and her beautiful boutique to any fellow plus sized brides. Thank you so much for such a positive and warming experience of something that so many curvy ladies dread, your little shop is a wonderful safe haven for ladies to feel like their stunning selves, regardless of size. Perfect.

Gali, the owner, designs all of her own dresses. After being based in London for 20 years she has opened this store so she can not only be the designer behind the scenes but redesign or alter her beautiful dresses so you will be wearing one of a kind. The service is of course very different from buying off the peg and working with a seamstress as Gali understands exactly what you are after and not only make changes herself but you can request changes that only the designer would be comfortable to execute and advice if it will work or not. Her store is beautiful, she’s absolutely lovely, there is zero pressure on buying but it would be hard to leave this store and not to buy one of her creations!! So happy to have found Gali and can’t wait for my wedding day to wear my gorgeous dress 😍
