Hi, I’m Jack — the wedding photographer behind JRQ Media Weddings.
I absolutely love what I do. Weddings are such a special celebration of love, and I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days capturing them. From the big moments to the little details in between, I’m there to tell your story in the most natural and authentic way possible.
My Style
I’d describe my approach as candid, relaxed, and unobtrusive. Your wedding isn’t one long photoshoot — it’s about you celebrating with the people you love most. That’s why I focus on genuine moments: the laughter, the tears, the cheers, and everything in between.
Of course, there are times when I’ll step in — like for your couple portraits or group shots. I’ll guide you with easy tips and prompts, making sure you feel comfortable and never forced into awkward poses. I’ll even capture the silly, spontaneous giggles that happen when friends and family chime in from the sidelines!

What is the charge for travelling?
I am based in Midlands and do not charge for travel in and around this area. If your wedding is outside of this area there may be a small fee but please message me to discuss first

I am a natural and candid photographer. I capture your day as it unfolds, in an unobtrusive manner! I am never the focus of a moment and quietly pull together special and keepsake moments
What kind of equipment do you use?
I have three cameras and an assortment of lenses, far too many batteries and a fleet of memory cards! As a lifelong customer and user of Canon, I know my way around getting you some memorable photos!
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, all wedding galleries are supplied on a gorgeous online gallery for you to view, download and share your photos with friends and family. You even get a beautiful online print store

Amazing Photographers
Jack, Jack, Jack, where to begin… when we first started planning our wedding we knew straight away we wanted Jack to be our photographer. Right from the start the communication and explanation of the progress was second to none. We booked to have the engagement shoot as well as our wedding day and I am so glad we did, this gave us chance to meet Jack and get a chance to feel more comfortable in front of the camera as, let’s face it, it’s all a bit alien for most. Our engagement photos came out amazing! We brought our two dogs along for some snaps, we certainly lucked out with the weather as we wandered around his local park and fave spot. Then fast forward to the wedding day at the west mill, we are the kind of couple who like the relaxed and chilled vibe, nothing to formal and Jack captured that perfectly from the getting ready finer details right through to the ceremony and dinner.. and let’s not forget the drunk dancing photos which will embarrass most of the family. Also can’t forget a shout out to Maria who was along with Jack on the day to help capture the 100s of stunning shots. You were a dream team and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. If you’re looking for a photographer to capture your perfect day look no further!

Just amazing!
Jack was the perfect wedding photographer! As soon as we spoke to him on the phone we knew he was who we wanted to photograph our wedding. Not only is he a talented photographer, but he is so friendly and chatty and instantly put us at ease when we met for the engagement shoot. He was also great at organising and managing guests on the day.
It rained all day for our wedding but Jack was incredible and still managed to get the most amazing photos. He worked with us to fit photos in around our timings and the weather, and we even got a few surprise shots that have come out amazingly.
We used his photobooth add on which was a huge hit with our guests, we received so many comments from them saying how much they liked Jack and how he fitted in so well. Our sneak peek photos were sent over within a couple of days of the wedding and they are all incredible!
We would highly recommend Jack to anyone, along with his second photographer James! Our videographer also said what a fantastic photographer he is!

We are absolutely over the moon with our wedding photos.
Jack photographed my sister’s wedding a few years ago and we loved the photos he took so decided to go with him for ours as we knew he’d be the perfect fit.
He made us feel at ease (we’re a little camera shy) with his relaxed style and this made our big day so special.
The photos captured the happiness and brightness of the day and we loved how they didn’t feel staged and he really listened to what we wanted.
We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Jack and can’t thank him enough!

Jack is amazing!
Jack was absolutely fantastic!
Jack was super friendly, welcoming and made us feel comfortable around him straight away. We found it really helpful that he basically told us what to do, where to stand and look etc…it made our jobs super easy! We also appreciated that he had a phone call with us a few weeks before to talk everything through and take the time to understand which parts of the day were most important to us to capture.
By the end he was not only our amazing photographer but basically an honorary bridesmaid (helping me carry my dress everywhere, putting my bouquet in a safe place for me, helping us stick to the timings of the day). We would 100% recommend Jack to anyone getting married in the future!

It felt so easy
Me and my husband are very shy introverted people so the photography aspect was the scary bit for us but we obviously wanted to capture our wedding day (I had been waiting 17 yrs for this moment after all). Jack made it really easy. I met with him to talk about his work and the packages on offer and it worked really well. Our engagement shoot which was part of our package was fab so from that moment we knew for definite we’d chose the right person. We’ve just had our sneak peek of our wedding gallery and he’s totally smashed it. There are moments that have been captured that we’ll remember now forever. Can’t recommend him enough. All our guests found him really personable too which helped them feel relaxed.

There are not enough words to thank Jack for being our photographer! From start to finish he was amazing!

5 stars all round!!
We could not have asked for a better photographer and seeing the sneak peaks have just confirmed that. I didn’t think it was possible to fully capture the love and warmth (and chaos!) in photos but Jack proved me wrong - he’s an absolute wizard!! The photos are incredible but above all of that Jack is incredible - multiple guests have commented on how at ease he made them feel and how Jack just slotted into the day. If we had our day again we would choose JQR again in a heartbeat - highly recommend!!

Jack (JRQ MEDIA) was absolutely brilliant! He was a pleasure to work with in terms of scheduling of the day, we had originally booked him for 6 hours and decided to see if we could extend it to 8 and he was happy to accommodate us in the decision.
He was full of jokes and made everyone feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens, the quality of the photos we've had back from the sneak peek of our wedding were phenomenal, and the speed at which we got those back was insane, we were married on the Wednesday and had the sneak peek photos back on Thursday evening!
Our guests also mentioned many times how friendly Jack was and how he genuinely wanted to do a good job, he was there when you needed him to be and just as much disappeared when you needed too so we weren't always looking down the camera and making the photos candid and relaxed. Would definitely recommend Jack

Fantastic photographer!
We've just received our full set of wedding photographs and I have to say we absolutely LOVE them!
We initially chose Jack over many other photographers because we loved the look and feel of his sample pictures and connected more with his style. I can say after even just the first-look pictures (received the day after the wedding!) that he exceeded our expectations by a mile! Jack has captured how it felt to be there on the day; his pictures are so vibrant and capture moments far beyond standard portraits.
Jack is a great guy and was a pleasure to have at our wedding. His laid back approach put us and our guests at ease right from the start. Jacks style is unintrusive which allowed him to capture some amazing candid shots of us and our guests throughout the day!
He was efficient at getting the post ceremony portrait shots with all the group pics we wanted, and made an effort to ensure we took plenty of time to mingle with our guests which we really appreciated.
We would whole heartedly recommend Jack to anyone considering booking him!

Absolutely amazing photographer!!
We are so so pleased that we chose Jack to be our wedding photographer - he was so kind, helpful, and easy-going; blended in with the other guests; and most importantly, took amazing photographs!
Initially, we had an engagement photoshoot with Jack, and we were a bit nervous as myself and my partner are both quite introverted. However, Jack made us feel completely at ease by giving us prompts to make us smile and laugh. After receiving the engagement shoot photos, we had no doubts that Jack would capture some amazing shots on our wedding day.
On our wedding day, we hired Jack to take photographs from the 'getting ready' stage, up until the evening party, plus we selected the photobooth option that Jack offers too.
