Helen is an incredible wedding photographer. I’m not keen on staged pictures and usually wedding pictures make me cringe a bit! But Helen’s style is so natural with a high class result. I told Helen I didn’t want my wedding to feel like an endless photoshoot, and instead she took me and my new husband away to share special moments together and then took the most stunning photos. She gave gentle but clear direction to make sure we had amazing photos, but then told us to take some time together; looking back on the wedding, these were the most special moments of the day. We didn't know what to expect from a photographer, but we had the best time with Helen!

Helen was so great at explaining before the weddinh how she works and what she would want to get for us from the wedding day photography. She helped advise on timelines, suggested locations for imagery and the whole time she listened to what we wanted to get, what our worries were, and answered all of our questions. She kept in touch ahead of the day so that we always felt able to send over thoughts or questions in the run up. It really helped us to feel like we were all on the same page.

On the day of our wedding Helen was completely calm and relaxed, which helped us to relax into the day too. She was prompt in the morning and sorted out some key images without requiring lots of input or time from us. As the wedding got started, she quickly helped us to enjoy being photographed, helped move friends and family around and was really flexible when timings changed during the day. It felt really easy to work with Helen and never felt like photography was getting in the way of the wedding itself.

At the end of the night Helen sent over a couple of images so that we could see some of what she'd captured, and within a couple of days we had a sneak peak of images that we could share. This was so lovely as it gave us something to share quite quickly and reminded us of some really lovely moments during the day.

We can't wait to see the full album later, but even after only seeing a sneak peak of the images, we would both recommend working with Helen.

We knew Helen as she was the photographer for my sister in law’s wedding and I’m so glad we chose her as well for ours.
