From my initial contact with Harriet, throughout all the planning and on the day - we were so grateful for Harriet’s brilliant communication and professionalism. We didn’t have any big ideas in mind for what we wanted for our photos, but Harriet helped us to feel completely at ease and we trusted her visions on the day - capturing our moments together, as well as with family and lots of spontaneous group requests!
She was a pro at always making my dress / train look beautiful for the photos, too. It was a lovely surprise seeing our previews in the morning after the wedding, which we were so happy with. We absolutely love the pictures from our wedding day, Harriet was so calm even when it was raining and got some gorgeous shots. Harriet shot our wedding on Saturday and wow! From first finding Harriet to our wedding day and even the weeks afterwards, she has been nothing short of amazing. We didn’t opt for the pre wedding photo shoot but she kept in touch with us at frequent intervals and put a call in a few weeks before the wedding to iron out the details. On the wedding day she was the most calming influence and really put us both at ease every time we were around her. She was organised, efficient (my brothers were very pleased the family photos were done quickly!) and nothing was too much trouble. She made such a great impression on all of our family and friends too, with so many commenting on how incredible she was on the day.

Harriet is an amazing photographer and would highly recommend!! We had a small intimate wedding so wanted someone who could fit in with our small wedding party and capture those special moments throughout the ceremony and drinks. From our first interaction right through to the wedding, Harriet was so flexible and provided just what we wanted in terms of service and answered any questions we had. Harriet provided such an excellent service on the day, many commented on how nice it was to have her there and never felt overwhelmed or staged with our photos! Everything felt seamless and we didn’t have to worry or think about a thing on the day. We absolutely love our photos and can’t wait to get them printed!

Harriet was the best decision I could have made for our wedding. She was one of the first suppliers I booked after I fell in love with her editing style. We chose to have an engagement shoot as we are naturally quite awkward in front of the camera and she put us at ease from the first minute!

On our wedding morning she blended into the hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready perfectly. We ended up with the perfect balance of shots of us getting ready and guests heading to the church. She took amazing photographs of our ceremony that are so natural and unposed. We then had our staged photographs of just us and then later with our families and they truly are photographs we will treasure forever!

We love that we ended up with photos of all of our guests and us as we ended up a bit worse for wear too! Our gallery is a genuinely perfect photographic diary of our day from start to finish. Well what can I say - Harriet has been amazing throughout the planning and actual wedding day. We came to York for our wedding and not being from the city I had to research local photographers. After lots to searching I came across HB photography and I knew quickly this is who I’d like to choose. Harriet offers bespoke packages to suit without limits of how many photos you can choose. Which is a good job as the previews photos we’ve already had back are stunning!

She was in touch throughout and we had a call the week before to discuss what types of photos we’d like. Nothing was too much trouble and the pictures speak for themselves.

Harriet was great to worth with throughout the process. Quick and informative communication, we even made a late request to change times and she was really accommodating. She fulfilled our brief perfectly and we got high quality photos that we wanted. She blended into the evening capturing candid photos of the event.

We were not polished “posers” and haven’t had formal photos before, but we were guided through the Bride and Groom photos and we have since since had many many copies printed! Highly recommend and would book for any future celebrations.
